  2. hah yeah i forgot to mention i have Undeath installed along with Perk tree for the lich lmao....as for magic duel: reborn i don't want anything like THAT per say as it would really only work right when fighting other mages ^^;; i want mods that will work across the board of skyrim no matter what the situation is. and i don't mean work as in "allow me to win" i mean work as in feels right for every situation. spell packs, different weapons and armor, gameplay mechanics that can be applied to every situation possible that way it would blend all together well. but i understand why you put it in.
  3. Ok so i decided to finally start a new character and this time i'm playing a mage strictly speaking. Focused on all of the mage perk trees through SkyRe. I have the following mods set up already Apocalypse - magic of skyrim Enchanting awakened FC Resurrect Forgotten Magic Redone Magic Runes HD T3nd0s The Staff Machine Open & Lock spells Thunderchild epic shouts and immersion Wrath of Nature (both the original + the sequel) Alchemist compendium (for when i need to refer for potion making) and GELO of course for those armors i want added to the level list. Along with those magic related mods i also have the necessities for immersion frostfall skyre RND ELFX wet & cold+ Holidays radiant and unique potions, poisons HD Unique unique's, ETC however obviously that isn't ENOUGH now i have a merge patch made to combine all of the armors and clothes i would like to use during my playthrough but very very few weapons and that's what i'm looking for. Weaopns that would be themed for mages besides the obvious like Staves. I want this as lore friendly as possible. I don't want wands so that mods out. I have 4 weapon mods installed that i think are good for a mage though i might remove one of them since it's not exclusively made for mages i have Accolade - Templar Sword (Templars = warriors with magical abilities) Insanity's Umbra sword (i have a custom follower by halo called Umbra and figured that would be a good little thing to have for fun lol) Witchers Silver Sword (thought it sounded appropriate considering the theme) and finally Elemental Arrows. (this is the one i thought about removing since it's not EXCLUSIVE for mages since obviously a hunter or ranger would be best using these to add damage and variety to their ammo...probably will remove it anyway) But other than those 4 i have NO other weapon mods installed other than unique uniques but obviously that's just to make them feel unique and doesn't do anything specific for my character beyond immersion. can anyone suggest any weapon mods good for a mage? I'm sure this has been asked before still i figured it'd get a fresh perspective and an update to the list of mods good for a mage to have.
  4. anyone know if there are any long gloves that will go well with Osare Knee socks and Osare Mufflers? I've done a little searching myself and the only long gloves i could find here on the nexus are essentially stripper/hooker gloves :/ not exactly winter friendly apperal if you ask me.

  6. hello i've got this mod installed and i've done endless searching myself so far but for some reason i can't find it on any site. I'm assuming that it's no longer available but i figured i'd ask here anyway. I'm looking for a mod called Courtesan Clothing. At least i think that's what it's called. I have a plugin activated called Renaissance Era Clothing.esp but there are no meshes or textures related to this plugin yet for some reason i have it active and i wouldn't have installed it if i didn't want to use it. any clue what mod this is and or where i can find it?

I've never had this issue in the past but what's happening is when i open up any other mod page it loads but when i click on this one specifically it doesn't load. the url goes from the normal to http://http//www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Error?err=page_blocked&hr=1&he=1 did they make it possible for mod creators to individually block users from their mods page or something? because if i'm reading this right i'm BLOCKED from the page......please correct me if i'm wrong with my assumption that theres a way to block users from a mod page.

  11. hmmm well i was thinking it would be circumstantial depending on your situation. So if you've taken damage it would ask if you'd like to use it immediately rather than putting it in your inventory automatically. And if you're looking at picking up herbs and stuff if you haven't found all the ingredients effects yet itll ask if you'd like to "taste it" or "test it for further side effects" to get an additional effect from it to use in potions. Makes being an alchemist a bit more interesting rather than playing the guessing game or looking for recepies and stuff to figure it all out.
  12. this is a weird one for me because i understand how the game works with this. But i still find it a bit odd that in order to use a potion for instance, you must pick it up, put it in your inventory, then go into your inventory to use it. imagine the animations that would go with this whole process lol -picks up flower for alchemy- -opens satchel- -puts it in satchel- -closes satchel- -reopens satchel 2 seconds later- -goes through satchel to find flower- -tests flower for effects- this whole process is far too long just to try or use something so i was wondering if it were possible to make a mod that gives you the option upon activating it to try and or use it rather than shoving it into your backpack for later use. If i'm running away from a group of bandits because of low health and i come across a health potion i'd have to run up to it put it in my bag then take it back out to use it to heal while at the same time running from them there's no logic or realism behind that. I'd rather run from my enemies while grabbing and drinking the potion at the same time because no one would go through the trouble to put it in their bag just to pull it back out immediately after putting it in there while trying to avoid damage lol. So i was thinking it would be a pop up option that asks if you'd like to use it immediately or put it in your inventory for later use. I think it would work better this way even if it pauses the game for a second to choose. any thoughts? any one up for the task if it's possible to even do?
  13. no it's only 10k so only 10 MB but others in the past has had issues with 6MB sized save files due to bugs bethesda hadn't fixed. So honestly i don't see how the file size should be effecting me but i've tried everything and so far cleaning my save seems to TEMPORARILY fix the issue....but if i say.....save in an inn and try and load that save up then it CTD's but if i save out in skyrim itself it takes a lil while but it still loads............so..........yeah.........odd i heard that Economy of Skyrim broke many peoples game but i don't have that installed anymore so i don't see how that could be effecting me either...it's just weird :/ then again i did use the merge mod script on a number of mods like Immersive Patrols, Immersive settlements, and i merged a number of armor mods and RealsticWaterTwo to reduce the number of plugins.

Ok so i thought it might be a broken save file but Wrye Bash says my save files are all in sync with my load order. then i went to the save folder and it showed every single save file far above 10k k. I remember back in the day people were having issues with save files above 6MB where skyrim wouldn't load them at all and just CTD which is happening to me. Bethesda was supposedly fixing this issue and only recently did i notice my save files reaching insane sizes like this. Is there a fix for this or am i just screwed?
  15. ok so.....yeah....the buildings in Winterhold OUTSIDE OF THE COLLEGE are missing their textures....i tried installing mods that add custom textures to buildings but none of them support the buildings in winterhold aside from the college.....so now i'm at an impasse because i have no clue what to do! I don't want to uninstall all of my mods just to reinstall them again because none of them should be effecting winterhold like...at all....i THOUGHT it might be the merged patch i made for No Snow under the ROof but.....if that were the case.....why only winterhold? why aren't the textures missing from any other building sharing those universal textures? is there a texture replacer for winterhold outside of the college? or am i just blind to not have found it yet? i fixed a texture issue with skyforge steel weapons by simply installing aMidianBorn book of silence but there is no aMidianBorn textures for BUILDINGS otherwise i'd have installed that to fix it :/ I figured it out.....wow.....i made a merge patch for No Snow Under the Roof and that merge patch was the cause.......so stupid lol......oh well
  16. I was thinking after reading posts on different sword mods that use scabbards as part of the sword. Why can't we have a sword that has an equippable scabbard that enhances said sword? Like a special pairing of sorts "while scabbard is equipped blocking with this sword +15%" or something like that. And the scabbard itself could become a shield of sorts if necessary on top of that. Similar to how they did that fake dual wielding in oblivion back in the day where the second sword was actually just a shield skinned to look like a sword. So here's what i'm thinking IF POSSIBLE similar to how bandoliers work probably with their slot being taken up too Sword - scripted to know when the scabbard is equipped Scabbard - only appears in your inventory to equip when sword is equipped (acts like bonded armor that you equip yourself and disappears upon changing weapons) Scabbard gives a buff to the sword while wielding it If you use Duel sheath redux or a custom skeleton that places the sword on your back or something the scabbard would probably need to be placed in that area too or have a version that supports custom skeletons I don't think i'm missing anything to add into this but....tell me what you guys think about my idea please? :3
  17. hmmmm then why would taleden create a mod specifically to work with Economics of Skyrim.....that's just weird if everyone pretty much acknowledges Trade & Barter as it's spiritual successor. And hell Trade & Barter worked with EOS as well so .....now i'm even more confused. maybe they just stopped supported it strictly because it broke saves and not for any other reason :/ well that sucks.

So yeah....i noticed it's "no longer supported" ....but .......what about those who don't have it? ;w; i had to reinstall windows 7 and start completely over from scratch and thus lost all of my downloaded mods. Yes i did back them up but the back up got corrupted and i had to delete it.....so.....does anyone have a copy of the last version of the mod so i can use it again? ;w;
  19. so lemme get this straight....it's not safe to reorder a plugins masterlist with in wrye bash? or what? because neither of you seemed to have answered his question and i have the same question as him ironically. You said he can do it in CK but you never mentioned if it was safe to do it in Wrye Bash even though there is an option to do it right there......so is it?
  20. honestly it now makes me wonder if his work was his own considering the fact that he tried so hard to continuously buff his own mods endorsements and then sneak back in. His actions have no logic behind them. If your mods are popular why try so hard to make them even more popular when the need to do so is nonexistent. And THEN why be stupid enough to think no one would notice the connection when you sneak back onto the nexus and then place links to your previously banned account's mods on your new accounts mods pages. That makes absolutely NO sense what so ever. His advertisement for G.E.M.s is also questionable now because if both set of mods he "made" are there that might give him a way to get back onto the nexus some how because there are other mods linked to G.E.M.s on the nexus itself.....so....consider those mods free advertisements for his own and in turn a permanent place for him some how? very very questionable indeed.............
  21. haaaai so i started to recently play dual wielding long swords and well im kinda bored with the old vanilla style and there arent too many mods out there that changes weapon ATTACKING animations so i was wondering if there was a mod out there somewhere that made your attacks look like Kirito's from SAO or if someone could possibly MAKE such an animation mod.   23. the only reason why it's not possible is because theres no such thing as "rarity" in skyrim really. The game doesn't define one specific piece of equipment RARE even if you can only get it once in the entire game because you can obtain pretty much any piece of armor you can think of in vanilla skyrim right from the start if you know where to go and what to do and those armors that you can't find right away aren't so much RARE as they are locked to only appear after a certain level has been reached which then makes it more common to find. SO basically there is no rarity list for skyrim....just level list.
  24. ok so i'm playing Hyperdimension Neptunia V for like the 10th time right? And i'm looking at mods for skyrim at the same time keeping up to date with the latest and greatest and update-est ....lol so ANYWAY i was sending out scouts to find me new locations and free items and cash when all of a sudden i had a stroke of genius!!! What if....SKYRIM HAD A SCOUTING SYSTEM LIKE HYPERDIMENSION NEPTUNIA V!?!? Now i know i'm no good at modding myself (even though ironically i just started school for game art and design...ironic) so i was hoping someone else could take this on as a side project or something! Heres the idea The mod itself will work with vanilla skyrim player homes (be them vanilla standard or modded like Breeze home make overs and stuff like that) What it'll do is it'll set up a small desk or something of that nature with a ledger. And when you interact with it itll tell you "who do you have as a follower" "How much gold they're willing to take in order to go scouting" "what they're good at scouting for" "and how long they'll take to scout depending on where you want them to scout" Now obviously this mod will require something like UFO or AFT (i'd PREFER AFT since it seems to be getting updates more than UFO now but that's entirely up to whoever takes this on) so basically you walk up to this ledger and Choose a follower registered by you in the ledger. You then select what you want them to search for how much you want to pay them (itll be set in increments of 10 gold, 100 gold, 1000gold, 10000 gold, etc) Where you want them to search specifically from a list of locations predetermined by the mod maker (so if you want the locations to be determined based on locations you can Fast travel to or something like that if it's possible please do it) and then it'll calculate based on that followers speed (and if it has a horse which you can purchase for them during this whole process) how long itll take for them to go to that location, scout for what you're telling them to scout for, and return back to that starting location. i actually got the idea from a mix of HNV and Oblivion's mod CM companion mod which allowed you to tell a follower to go look for ...like...weapons, ammo, gold, stuff like that and they'd randomly wander the general location for such things and then when YOu decided they'd stop you'd just talk to them and tell them to follow you again. but this idea seems a bit more sophisticated and realistic. You pay the follower an amount you see to be fair for a specific task and they then go and play fetch for you. So please if anyone thinks this is DOABLE or not don't be afraid to speak up and give me your 2 cents....just don't do what seems to be the norm and just out right ignore the idea all together please ;w;...i've had a few nice ideas that just flew past everyones radar it seems.... ;W;
  25. sounds like a nice idea but if it doesn't work with OUT Race Menu installed it's kind of a game killer for me :/
