  1. Since I don't currently have Skyrim installed on my PC I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I'm looking for a nice screenshot of something oddly specific. A house, in the dark, with lights on from the outside. For example, something like this, but in the dark I'd really appreciate any screenshots!
  2. Do you have the unofficial patches? This is the kinda stuff my vanilla skyrim used to do, and mods fixed
  3. Incorrect file path maybe Data>sound>fx>your mod>wav file here Wav has worked for me providing the clip is short Large files will crash ck
  4. Never started one with a courier before, normally I would just use a "get level" condition under dialogue I'd guess you can attach a condition somewhere Or a script condition Something along the lines of if game.getplayer().getlevel() == 28 endif
  5. Isn't one of them a card game, trying to jump on the hearthstone bandwagon Or did I dream that
  6. I was not overly impressed with Skyrim and wouldn't be playing it without mods It was my first BETH game and the only game I'd ever played that would CTD. I couldn't get my head around CTD's and why a game would do that or be released in a state where that can happen. Before Skyrim I mostly played Blizzard games, SC2, Diablo, WoW and never crashed on any of their games, ever Despite them even being online games I could be a in a raid group with 40 people fighting a huge dragon on WoW and have smooth gameplay Then CTD on Skyrim because I took off my hat I understand a little better today about how and why it happens. Coupled with mods actually making the game more stable than vanilla ever was. But it's still the most infuriating aspect of the game for me. As to why I keep playing it The sense of freedom, and customisation Something MMO's sourly lack And I love making the world around me reflect my own personal tastes.
  7. Maybe try modding. I know since I started poking around in the creationkit it breathed new life in to skyrim because you can really modify and adjust things to your personal taste. If only I had the motivation to finalize them and release them
  8. I've been working on my own little world recently and now it's started to grow, I've noticed mountains and stuff have started disappearing and I have to refresh(F5) to see them again which becomes a hassle since it actually takes a while to load. I believe this is due to not having generated Lod's correct? If so should I go ahead and generate Lod's already? Or is that something I want to hold off doing until the very end and just have to put up with invisible mountains until I'm near complete?
  9. My PC is pretty low end, I have an ati 6670 2gb gpu But mostly I manage to maintain between 30-60 fps, depending on the area. Dropping your resolution is one of the best things you can do I play at 1440 x 900 instead of 1920 x 1080 I would suggest against going for full texture packs as well, instead pick and choose which textures you want to improve upon and find them on nexus. aMidianBorn has some great performance friendly textures and Ruins Clutter Improved is a must have for me. ENB is probably a no no, but there's a couple of nice lighting mods that don't hurt your performance, you can pick whichever suits you better, Realistic Lighting Overhaul or Lighting and Effects Enhanced. To make the game stable you need skse, the memory patch , safety load and showracemenu pre cache thingy Make sure everything including the masterfiles are cleaned with tesEDIT, and savetool will get rid of any old scripts in your save game. Keeping your PC clean won't hurt either, by deleting any unwanted programs and turning off any unused background applications. That's all I can think of for now.
  10. Check out some MXR vids he reviews all kinds of mods, all kinds! You'll find links to the mods in the description https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4MGZcDG5hnzpi3hDpORkXw
  11. Maybe take a peak at this mod and try and see how it was done http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/4149/?
  12. I'd recommend just trying some lighting mods if you haven't already, they can have a huge impact on the environment and atmosphere without impacting your performance in the same way an enb would
