I'm working on a custom voiced follower so that I can learn the basics of modding custom voiced npcs for a mod that I would love to bring to life in the future. I'm having a horrible time trying to get custom hair to work with my npc, though. First, before i even tried this I was having a dark face issue that ctrl + f4 wasn't fixing. I wound up having to delete one of the files in the FaceGenData folder, uninstall all skin texture things I had and then finally I managed to get rid of that bug and my follower was looking good. After that I tried to use one of the KS Hairdos (also, this isn't a mod I plan on uploading to the nexus or anything, mainly because idk how permissions work yet when it comes to mods like KS). However the preview went bald and weird looking-- I hoped it was a bug and I saved it, then when I went in game my follower had the wrong hair and brown face again. Once again, I used my back up and tried to use the custom hair, repeated the brown face bug fix I found worked but this time, it didn't. She still had brown face and the wrong hair. So I've backed everything up to when she was working again and went to google to find a fix. Can't find one. So basically, I'm trying to add a KS Hairdo to my custom follower. I have tried the character > head part > female > head part > 0Vertigo click and drag to the Character Dialogue window and it didn't work. The ctrl f4 method is a headache and never works right for me. This isn't urgent, but I would like to know what I'm doing wrong. Any help is greatly appreciated, thank you!
