I totally agree with Peregrine's first post, and most pleased to hear mod's are hard work and it's not just me...LOL But from a newcomers point of view this thread just gives off the impression modders are not willing to help because you have been burned by overambitious newbies, or tired of helping new modders because the Wiki has all the answers. Well I hope when I become a modder I don't share such cynicisms, I have spent months learning from the Wiki and many other tutorials so I can mod and contribute to the community. But sometimes the answers are not as obvious to others, especially when just starting out, if you cant ask an experienced modder for help then who do we ask ? I mean no offense and apologies in advance if I have, this is not a rant or a trolling attempt just an observation.... :wink:

I like Martin, he's noble and kind but for the love of god DON'T call him a 'murderer' I had completed the aid for Bruma quest and had a nice assortment of guards ready to take on the Oblivion spawn, the third gate opened the battle was going well finally the great gate erupted from the ground, so in I went, running the gauntlet for the great stone. On my return there was Daedra everywhere, so I got stuck in, the guards where dropping like flies but we were victorious, then some dumb'ass guard calls Martin a murderer, OMG what a temper, Martin then proceeded to slay the last of the guards with the help of the Blades. Then like nothing happened he just strolled of back to Cloud Ruler Temple. I wounder what he would do if you called him a male without a father love child. Martin has got some anger issues I think but he's a nice enough person........Just don't call him a murderer.... :no:

I hate that babbling 'noble' Ork from the fighters guild quest trying to speak old English, asking you to save his daughter from some Ogre's.........I want to gut him like a big green pig.... :verymad:

Tricky one because I have two characters, a female Breton battle mage 'customized' for close combat, and a young male Nord great for mixing things up in battle, ranged or up close and personal. I play mostly male.... :D
