  1. I used to console game many many years ago, I own a PC now and primarily game on that, but I'm considering a Nintendo switch. PC's are just so versatile, user friendly(typically) and have various combinations for controls, devices, etc etc. For example: My Grandpa and I play "Chess Ultra" on steam from time to time while talking on Skype. My discord friends and I can hop onto something like PUBG 5 seconds later, get frustrated and then move onto something like Duck game with minimal wait times. Not only that, but we all have our preferred input device's, our rigs all vary in price and complexity and it doesn't matter who has the powerhouse PC because we're all having fun. Consoles are uni-taskers though. Sure they now have music and video streaming capabilities, but most TV's have that too. So whats the point of wasting electricity on the console when the TV does it? The only defense I have for consoles is that its an even platform, in terms of specs, controllers and etc, with minimal exceptions so any competitive game all comes down to skill not quality of the equipment. IMO The Switch is the only console to have gotten "it" right since the PS2, Xbox, GC. Ever since then it's been a competition of "who has the biggest stick" while the Wii/WiiU did their own things in an attempt to make themselves unique.
  2. I never had any real issues with bugs and etc but after 300 hours of Fallout 4, I decided to install the unofficial patch on this play-through to see if there was a difference. Plus I wanted Achievements so I ran the game with F4SE and the achievement enabling mod on the top-list. The moment I load the game up using F4SE; The game had long loading times despite being installed on an SSD. Lag during autosaves and transitions. My companions vanish into walls, are staying a lot farther behind and, are attacking enemy npc's before they are hostile(Such as Kellogg). My keyboard not responding at random intervals, there are no controllers plugged in and I am able to Shift+tab to get to steams overlay and, alt+tab to swap to my desktop. When swapping back to the game it's still an issue. Content that was never there prior, being enabled without any mod enabling removed content(primarily cut-scenes).I've tried playing on a fresh install with just the patch and F4SE, but still have the same issues. Does the Patch and F4SE conflict with each other?
  3. I used to live in Strigno, Italy. I currently live in the Northern US and, I don't remember ever seeing the grass as brown as it is in Skyrim(unless it's the seed stalks). I'd like to fix this to be more immersive for myself, but I can't seem to be able to find the textures for the ground cover and LoD textures if there are any. What/where would said texture be saved as?
  4. Well that's dumb.. oh well
  5. I'm surprised the Escaflowne main theme you uploaded hasn't been allowed yet... some light research showed that the OST was never sold outside of japan, so I don't see what the issue is.
  6. That's what I tried, the listed effects are in categories as well, hence this topic.
  7. I am not a fan of what Bethesda did with the detect life/dead spell so I wanted to change it so it was a fire and forget that way it could still be of use to my archer character. I start up CK and go to edit the skills only to find out that they put the spells in categories in the CK so Detect life/dead is only in the "concentration" category. You cant create a new spell with the effects, you cant enchant the effect to an item, it has to be a concentration spell! Granted it may be possible for those who are the more serious modders that dabble in scripting and etc, but for those of us that just want to create subtle changes for personal use its impossible and I say BULLPOO!
  8. it was pretty much the same in oblivion, then someone made a mod to change it. Though if you ask me Skyrim doesn't seem to get dark enough to even need it. when the construction set comes out though, i'll take a gander to see if it can be toggled with a simple setting change... if its something that needs a full blown custom script then yeah...
