kowie is doing great work. I'm glad he (oops, assumption of male because idk for sure) responded to my request. The gun he has created is an exact duplicate of a real Colt 10mm. Colt just happened to make it look very like a 1911. A link to info on the real world version can be seen by following the link I provided in my original request post. I also hated the stamped metal vanilla model. I don't think there is a real stamped metal 10mm.

Awesome, the vids are impressive, especially on full auto. You sure messed up that Red Rocket wall!

That seems about right to me. I definitely wouldn't go any lighter.

Need category for mods that are friendly to the handicapped.

Thanks for the reply Vagrant0. I guess I wasn't really trying to get a new category added, it just bugs me that all ease of use mods are usually called cheats, and for some of us they are essential aids to be able to play the game at all. -
It looks pretty good to me. I'm guessing you're not happy with the loss of shiny bright new once ported into the game world, but I was expecting that.

On a PC you can use console commands to force start a quest (See Fallout 4 Wiki for codes.) I don't know if this is possible on X-box or Play Station. However, if you want a particular settlement you may be out of luck. Locations for Minutemen radiant quests are selected from a list that contains more settlements than used in any one play through. The command only starts the radiant quest, it does not force the radiant quest to choose a particular location. I think the radiant quest stops after so many repeats and the only way to do every settlement in the game is to kill all residents at settlements that did not crop up during the radiant quest's run. -- If killing the residents is the only option, the only way to avoid adding to your murder count is to use the console command "kill X" (where X is the npc's id) or the console command "killall" (which kills every npc/creature in your current cell). These two commands have no impact whatsoever on your character's stats: no murder tick, no exp, etc. Warning! If you use the console kill commands, make sure you have no followers with you that can die. Essential followers will fall unconscious for a few seconds, but will not die.

I have found several mods that make the game easier to play for those of us who have visual impairment, slow reflexes due to age or illness, etc. I think there should be a category or tag that highlights this kind of mod. Call it ADA Compliant (American's with Disabilities Act) or something. There may not be many elderly persons who play FO4 and similar games, but there are some and our numbers will continue to grow as more gamers age. These mods are often called "cheats", and they are for the young and healthy, but some are essential, or nearly so, for people who are not young and/or healthy. The people that write these mods take a lot of abuse in comments about their work. Look people, if you don't die young, you will get old eventually and get a new outlook on the mods you have criticized for making the game "too easy". Go play the game and quit abusing the mod authors that do something to make the game better for people who aren't blessed with youth, health and fast reflexes. If you don't like a mod, why are you bothering to take the time to bash it anyway. No one is going to force you to use a "cheat" mod, or any other mod. Going around posting comments like "nothing to see here, move along" is just nonsense and shows you have too much time and too little to do.

Bug List - If you find bugs post them here
conundrum replied to Grasmann's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
I have a situation where some settlers suddenly appear as floating type 2 synth heads with no bodies. At first I thought they were synth duplicates, but I'm not sure since they have no inventory when killed. Once they turn into floating heads, they can't be engaged in conversation and they can't be commanded in workshop mode. -
Well, it certainly looks great now.

It is looking fantastic!!

Looking good, a whole lot better than the vanilla.

Sweet. That looks great already.

The 10mm Colt. The top 10 list I linked shows it as #1. And Thanks.

Dear modders, someone please go here http://www.personaldefenseworld.com/2015/06/10-perfect-10mm-pistols/#colt-o2020-r-png, and pick one of the real 10mm pistols and create a replacement mod for that made by Matel stamped toy that comes in the vanilla game. I mean, really, I can't find a real 10mm pictured anywhere that has cheap stamped metal parts. BTW, my pick would be the Colt, but I'm not fussy any real model will be a monumental improvement over the vanilla. Oh, a replacer is wanted, not a stand alone. There are some good stand alone 10mm mods, but I want every 10mm in my game changed.

There are a lot of mods and save games for changes to the Red Rocket station, and I'm sure they are very appealing to many. However, what I want is a simple texture/mesh replacer that doesn't require an esp file with the following changes to the Red Rocket: 1- Remove the coolant hoses and their mountings from the exterior ceiling. 2- Remove or replace the damaged exterior trim around the roof. The bent piece at the back prevents building walls close to the back of the building. The rusted, unbent trim is fine, it is the pieces that stick out that are a problem. 3- Remove the wires coming in from nearby pylons. (This bit is optional, since they are just an eyesore and don't affect building walls around the station.) 4- Remove the silver domes that are next to the two pumps. The pumps can currently be scrapped, but those annoying little domes can't. Making them scrappable would require an esp, so I just want them gone. Special blessings and thanks to anyone who can do this. If an esp is required to be able to do this project, I can live with it, but I'm hoping that it can be done w/o an esp since there is an esp limit.

I find the skeevers to be disgusting. Could someone create a skeever replacer that turns them all into one of the following: Norwegian Rat (aka lab rat), striped skunk, raccoon, ferret, or any other small furry predator? Norwegian rats would be the most lore friendly.
