  1. Maybe try removing 'Dark Dungeons,' seems related :D.
  2. Pretty sure Immersive HUD doesn't have that option; I've posted a suggestion on the mod page, though, thanks. It seems quite strange that there's no record setting for it, other messages have settings - I made the 'You have no bolts left' message blank because it displayed every time I fired a crossbow with Manual Crossbow Reload.
  3. I find this message very annoying so tried to change its record setting to make it blank in TES5Edit but cannot find it anywhere - I have done this for other annoying messages but this one is proving very difficult! Am I just missing it or is there actually no setting for this? There doesn't seem to be any mod that fixes this either.
  4. Update - I tested the game with only SkyUI, iHUD, Alternate Start and Less Intrusive HUD II installed and it worked perfectly. I then tested with the latest version of Immersive Horses and the settings stopped saving - again, the messages were the correct size when I loaded the save but broke when I triggered an Immersive Horses message by trying to whistle. I tested with various versions of Immersive Horses and found that the incompatibility was introduced in version 2.1. EDIT: Just found a bunch of people talking about this exact issue in the Immersive Horses comments section,
  5. I have recently developed a strange issue with Less Intrusive HUD II; its settings will only partially save. Most of the settings are saved, but there is a problem with the HUD messages and possibly other text, such as Location text. When I load a save, the text is the correct size - I made it smaller - but after some time it resets to the original size and I need to reload the save to correct it. It seems to do this when I trigger a notification from Immersive Horses - 'My horse is now following me' or whatever. I never had this problem before but I have updated Immersive Horses since then, so this may be some kind of new compatibility issue. However, Less Intrusive HUD has no conflict with anything, either in its files or in its plugin, so I really have no idea what to do with this.
  6. Sorry for such delayed reply - I was a bit busy and wasn't paying attention to Skyrim for a while. I'm not running with Immersive Citizens now and Whiterun and the game in general seems more stable. Yeah the information in that crash log seems quite strange :D
  7. Thanks a lot for the reply! Searching the formid reveals that there is no mod that edits it, although I have changed my load order a bit; I have removed Immersive Citizens and a couple of other mods. I felt that Immersive Citizens might somehow be the culprit since it edits Whiterun AI and nowhere else I think, I will test stability again and post back.
  8. Another player asking for help with instability . My game seems fairly stable for what testing I've done on it so far, but I've had relatively frequent crashes when entering Whiterun, either from an interior or outside. Pretty sure this has nothing to do with memory as stress testing doesn't see my RAM or VRAM usage go above 3.5gb according to Skyrim Performance Monitor. I use the 'crash fixes' mod with UseOSAllocators and crash logging turned on and have produced three logs: Leaving Bannered Mare: Leaving Belethor's: Leaving Arcadia's Cauldron: My load order: Thanks for any help on this
  9. I think I sort of understand; as you say, I found that Guard Dialogue Overhaul injected a number of keywords into Update.esm. However, copying a dialogue topic individually does not produce any error, even when it references an injected Form ID, and it seems to copy all the Form IDs, including injected ones, fine. I don't understand the need for the procedure you outlined: Do you think there are discrete errors in my patch plugin that aren't being reported by xEdit? There does not seem to be any problem with copying injected records other than when I used the 'deep copy as override' function.
  10. Uhh sorry quite new to xEdit, how do I know if a record is an injected record? The records in the images seem to be in Skyrim.esm as well. Is this some kind of problem with Guard Dialogue Overhaul? I'm confused :p EDIT: looked it up a bit, think I know what an injected record is now :D. Still not sure how it applies to my example, though; the Guard Dialogue Overhaul plugin is in italics (which I think means it contains injected records) but the actual records I'm copying aren't. Or does that just mean every record in the plugin is an injected record? And anyway why does it make a difference whether I perform a deep copy as override or copy each individual plugin? Sorry if I'm annoying
  11. Sorry for taking so long to reply. Since I didn't notice any consequences for the error and didn't get it again after that I sort of forgot to check my page :O. I tried to reproduce the error and found that it only seems to occur when I use deep override, at least with these plugins. I'll outline it: My full load order (with some custom and merged plugins) I loaded Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp and the two Immersive Armors plugins, Hothtrooper44_Armor_Ecksstra.esp and Hothtrooper44_ArmorCompilation.esp, into TES5Edit, along with their masters, Skyrim.esm and Update.esm. All three plugins have both Skyrim.esm and Update.esm as masters.Apply Filter for Conflict Losers.Expand Dialogue Topic under Guard Dialogue Overhaul.Deep Copy as Override of record 0002BDDD into new file (Image 1).Asks for Skyrim to be made master of new plugin then returns error (Image 2,Image 3, bug report below) Interestingly, when I copy the individual sub records instead (Copy as Override) it asks for the new plugin to have Skyrim.esm, Update.esm and Guard Dialogue Overhaul.esp as masters, rather than just Skyrim.esm as with the Deep Copy as Override, and doesn't return an error. Maybe this is a problem with Deep Copy as Override?
  12. I keep having a strange error while creating custom patches using TES5Edit. When I use the 'copy as override into..' or 'deep copy as override into..' functions and select 'new file' as the plugin to copy into, I while sometimes get an error about mapping a formid. It then simply won't perform the copy but will create the plugin; if I then simply repeat the function except select the newly created plugin rather than 'new file' it will perform the override seemingly without any problems but this nevertheless seems worth asking about. I've attached the bug report: Thanks for any help
  13. Right thanks for the info cooley I feel a bit better about saving now, I'll make sure to load a save mid session unless it's very recent.
  14. Alright thanks I'll try that. About your mod list btw, why do you put combat evolved after your bashed patch in the load order?
  15. I was using Sheson's upon until recently, I switched to crash fixes. Yes I turned on osallocator in the ini and enabled skse plugin preloader. I still have Sheson's memory fixes enabled in SKSE.ini though, apparently they don't hurt.
  16. That's quite the setup! :D Baffled at how you made this stable? I'm just setting up a new build and some testing has revealed somewhat frequent crashes, they're a bit odd though. I was able to spawn in 360 windhelm guards at the docks and had them all shooting at me, had about half a frame per second :D but it didn't crash. Then I flew around the map of a bit and crashed as I passed solitude. Memory blocks revealed that I maxed out at 379mb in block 1... Just now I was messing about again and crashed randomly as I entered the Drunken Huntsman, with all autosaving turned off. That was after I installed crash fixes since I didn't know about it until recently. Could this still be a memory problem? Maybe I should look at Skyrim Performance Monitor. If so, do you think the solution would be to use a dual OS like yours? Also, do you mind if I ask about that modpack of yours? :) You think we should go over to private messenger since this thread is completely sidetracked now?? :D
  17. Oh right yeah I know about that, I thought I would just go through with it since it seems unlikely that I would go about 4gb ram usage, not sure though. Hopefully they fix that :l
  18. Alright thanks I'll keep that in mind, just not sure it's big enough to fit the games I want on it with the os as well.
