Dunno about DoD:S really, i didnt think much of it, and for some reason it crashes after 10 mins or so...so eventually i gave up on it. I dont understand why in such close combat infantry battles valve doesnt integrate a iron sights or a lean function? However, is it okay for the GS BF2 faithful to retain their [GS] Tags? i've just played on some other servers and boy does it suck. Only 2 rounds per map, zero teamwork, idiots in the blackhawk, bleugh....

Now all of you will HAVE to get XFire if you want to continue playing with me and a few others!!! Just get the blasted thing! You will be able to see when we are on, what game we are playing and what server we are in. Easy.

How about some of us reg's would donate money to the GS BF2 server cause to help it run for another 6 months? Would this be feasible? I am willing to donate 100 of my hard earned scrumboolies and so would vince.

Ah well, ive had a great blast with all the GS'ers and reg's we get in the server. Thanks to Dark for providing a great place to play!

i got the helicoper veteran badge the hard way, before the patch! Me think i was whoring a bit too much. Walked into a server yesterday, got the 3 rank upgrades, Good conduct medal and veteran engineer. Pffft what a joke, doesnt feel like an accomplishment anymore. Idiots at Dice go from one extreme to another.

May be worth going into your computing services depratment and having a freindly word, rather than sending an email. Its not like you wants ports open for P2P software...right?! As for university well good luck matey and make sure you have a blast, i ended up with 6 years under my belt and i had the greatest time of my life! And if Exeter dont open the necessary ports transfer to Liverpool (the proper one not crappy John Moores) they have unrestricted access for everyone!

On the topic of the server, does anyone else think 3 rounds of a map is too much?! By the third round man, im fatigued! Would 2 rounds not be better? Although this would be detrimental to our stats whoring in the BH!!....apprantly in the end of August 1.3 patch it will not be possible to cap flags from a hovering heli! That means we gotta land the damn thing and be at the mercy of every known weapon on earth!
