Nawen shot a confused look at Aurora, for someone like her it was difficult to understand how could anyone be so upset over clothes, but she had nothing to say that would help the bardess so she turned to Zorica and Daud to greet them. "I'm Nawen, pleased to meet you." She said to both before ordering some meat for Rhegar. "That dracolich," she paused trying to remember its name, "Valthanarax, is the leader of the Cult of the Dragon. One of his phylacteries is across Shaar." She explained to Daud. "Valtra... Valthra... Valthy," Shalena said from across the table, "why do dragons have these ridiculously long names anyway? It's a damn tongue-breaker." The pirate added, but when remembered that she forgot to introduce herself as well. "Ay, yes. Where are my manners?" She said as she arose from her seat and bowed dramatically, "my name is Shalena Windsail, captain of the Sea's Compass."

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that my cold got worse, so I'll be offline for a few days.

When Nawen made her way out of the town, she noticed that there's no good enough place to train Rhegar. She could see a forest in the distance, but it was too far away to go solely for training. "Looks like we'll have to hunt some other day." She said as she looked at her wolf companion before heading back to the town. She returned to the tavern only to hear that more people were interested in joining their group. "What did I miss?" She asked as she sat at the table.

Nawen raised an eyebrow to Horo's question and shot a glance at the door. As they were still open, she managed to take a small peek inside before the half-drow woman closed the door behind her. She caught a glimpse of a pale man who entered the tavern with Conall sitting by the fire and talking to Rhaine, and it also seemed that not everyone liked the newcomer. "Everything was fine when I left," she said as she looked back at Horo, "but now I'm not sure." "I was going out of the town for a bit, to train my little friend here," she explained and pointed to Rhegar who was sniffing the ground near the corner of the tavern. ======================================== "Bite me?" Shalena asked amused, "after a dinner or two, you might get a chance if you're lucky." She laughed at her lame joke before ordering something to drink. "I'd suggest a drinking challenge," she said to Dagny, "but I see you're quite ahead of my already." When Zorica introduced herself, the captain groaned. "You don't happen to be another Chosen, are you? I don't think my men could handle another one scaring the wits out of them."

When Rhaine mentioned that the newcomer was a half-vampire Shalena looked up again, this time much more interested. "Half-vampire? So you're what, half-undead?" She asked out loud. Nawen instinctively reached for her blade when she nearly bumped into the man she met in the tree back at the fair. "Uh, yes. My name is Nawen," she said as she looked at the man before shaking his hand, "and your name is Horo if I recall correctly. Pleased to meet you, now that we've the time to actually properly introduce ourselves." The drow added and stepped to the side allowing patrons to enter the inn.

Nawen walked past Conall and a strange man accompanying. She thought nothing of him but when Rhegar started growling at him, she thought that something wasn't right with him, Rhegar never growled at anyone unless they happen to attack them. "Let's go, Rhegar." She said to the wolf and went outside. Shalena glanced at the newcomer since pretty much everyone were looking at him, but the pirate simply shrugged and continued eating her meal.

Eight main characters, eh? That's a good idea, I guess. Not sure if I will able to come up with more evil characters, but we sure could use more of them. :dance:

Shalena had finished eating shrimps wrapped in bacon and now was helping herself to a freshly baked meat pie from someone else's table. When Rhaine returned to the common room wearing her new outfit, the captain grinned. "Wow! So unusual to see you wearing something other than that armor," she commented and then shot a glance at Tannin, "nice handiwork." She said to the half-drow. Nawen was getting ready to go outside and take a walk as she spent more than she liked sitting around and doing nothing in the ship. It was also a good time to start teaching Rhegar to adapt to wildlife. She looked at Rhaine once she came downstairs. "It is very beautiful," she said, smiling, "it suits you."

Shalena looked at the talisman that Xallistine had dropped around their necks. It was pretty but not as pretty as her golden compass. "What's this? Do you always give everyone random jewelry?" She asked Xallistine out loud. The captain wasn't used to anything like this as she was relatively new to the group and she rarely talked with them. "I'm not paying for it." She added. Nawen glanced at her own talisman after she noticed that Xallistine had given them to everyone who were currently inside. "Thank you," she said to the Ulitharid, "it's very pretty." She wasn't sure what was the point of these amulets but what she suspected that there was something more to it, but for the moment she decided to remain quiet about it.

As usual, Nawen spent most of her time looking after the horses and Rhegar, but unlike last time, she occasionally joined others on the top deck but tried to stay away from the railing as further as possible. After the ship docked in Iljak and all horses were in the stables, she went to the inn and ordered a bowl soup. "Am I the only one who miss camping out in the wilderness?" She asked. Shalena who just entered the inn with her ship already shrunk heard Nawen's question and laughed. "Not me. I'd rather sleep in a warm bed, including the occasional company." She said as she ordered the same thing Weyland and Sybille did. There was a short pause before Nawen finally said. "What company? Bed bugs? It's not occasional company, they're al-" she paused as she realized what kind of company Shalena had in mind, "oh, that's so not what I meant when I asked that." She said and looked down at her soup.

Ah, crap. I forgot to post a comment here. :wallbash: Still, I agreed with the idea. Also, I have two more character sheets to post. :dance: Look who's back! :dance: :dance: :dance: And my (probably) last character moved from another RP. :dance:

Shalena nodded in thanks when Xallistine enlarged her ship and went to look around and make sure if everything was in order. Satisfied that nothing was broken or tiny, Shalena returned to the top deck and began talking with the helmsman about their upcoming trip. Once she was done talking with him, she approached Conall and Rhaine. "Iljak seems like the best place to dock." The captain said. Nawen led Kiira to their usual place in the cargo hold, Rhegar who was feeling tired curled up into a ball and fell asleep in the corner. Nawen decided to go to the top deck. She spent more than enough time indoors for one day. She leaned on the railing and for a moment watched how the people were clearing out the rubble from the docks. "I know that Westgate is home to some of us, but I'm glad we're leaving." She said.

"Alright then," Shalena said as she picked her ship up off the table and walked towards the door. She also recognized the man she met at the fair but instead of saying anything, the pirate simply smiled and went outside. As she arrived at the docks, she immediately started looking for a place suitable for her ship and once she found one, she stood beside it waiting for Xallistine so that he would dispel the effects of the magical scroll. ============================ Nawen went to look for Kiira. The mare, while annoyed by all the water, stood relatively calmly. 'How have you been, Kiira?' Nawen asked as she led the horse to the docks. 'Eager to be someplace dry,' the mare replied and then asked, 'you're taking us back to the ship, aren't you?' When Nawen nodded, Kiira said, 'I hope that stuffing us in that cramped room is worth it.'

Nawen looked at the sudden display of affections with a light smile on her face before turning her attention back to the crackling fire. She was terrible at dislaying affections so she decided to stay out of it. Instead, she glanced at Tannin and just looked at him, unsure on what to say. If he wasn't joking then it seemed that his childhood was much worse than hers and yet he simply laughed it off. She wanted to say something to him but then a new person in the room caught her attention. Nawen was good at remembering faces so she recognized him instantly. "Hey, it's you from that tree!" She said but then frowned a little as she thought that her words sounded a bit... odd. ====================================================== Shalena paid little to no attention to all the hugging happening in the room as she was waiting for the men she sent to the docks, or what was left of it. They returned quite quickly. "The elf's right," the pirate reported, "the docks are destroyed but we found a suitable place for the ship, captain." "Good." Shalena smiled. She was looking forward to be back at the ship where her word was the law. "Let me know when you'll want to leave." She said to everyone.

Lol! XD Can't believe I missed that. I actually borrowed that name from Angel from Buffy the Vampire Slayer as his name was Liam before he was turned into a vamp.

So, here's my kind of evil character. This character sheet is different because it describes two people (actually it's one person but with two personalities) in one sheet. To avoid confusion I'm going to use Comic Sans MS for Liam and Georgia for Orion. They look different enough, right? :ohdear:

Wait, you actually left the RP? I thought you were busy with real life. :ermm: In case you'll ever decide to take a break from the RP or leave, it would be really nice if you left a comment here in the discussion thread if possible, so we'd know why you're gone. Also, very nice character sheet.
