This mod sounds awesome :D
-
link is broken?
-
I think it's an awesome idea, it's not more "Anti lore" than Mehrunes Lair/shrine which Daedra inside.. (unless they'd been hiding there for 200 years) I can't mod but if you ever need lore guidance, writing, voice acting or maybe just talk about ideas i'd love to :)

I don't want to kill your dreams, but the reason why you could do this in Arena & Daggerfall was because there was no real 3D This mod can't work

Sorry if i gave the wrong impression i'm no modder i have no idea what i'd have to do :P plus i think you'd have an easier time on steam workshop forums - Nexus has strict Import control - steam don't -

No idea what this s - link please ? :) -
Impossibru... unless there were buried gates that nobody knew about. Ewww... that is perhaps a bit too hollywood. Like the Meme reference :D -but no not impossible, they say that Sean Bean (who died of course) in his sacrifice: (in the voice of Patrick Steward) "close shut the jaws of Oblivion forever" Through Akatosh and whatever - but you can still summon them through magic? right? summon them to fight for you? I'm pretty sure that if this is possible, there's a way to go back :) and if the way that we choose to travel is through a Retro oblivion themed doorway - thats just fine :)
-
cool :)
-
I thought about using the landmasses just around Skyrim, Bruma (Cyrodiil), Blacklight city (Morrowind) Elinhir (Hammerfell) Jehanna (High Rock) traveling to those cities would really be amazing, don't you think? :)
-
What's the story behind the armor?
-
Well there is a quest out there which sends you to oblivion planes :) quest - no mercy and the realms of Deadra
-
Yea Even if that's what really happened this mod could go with the High elven idea - that it was them who bannished them :P and that now they are returning
-
But all the sword & character mods are using Oblivion stuff as well right?
-
We are not allowed to import directly from Oblivion (or any other TES game) but Kvatch was mod build - wouldn't we be able to import "and fit" the city into Cyrodiil - making it at least one working city?
-
Cool i had the same thought.. i ride for 2 min and pass 5 "important" quests etc.. sometimes it would be nice with a "red dead redemption" distance to things
-
They cannot destroy the altmer (as one thalmor say in the game) they have an alleance with the bosmer (wood elf) and the dumner are to low for make anything, and in the past the elves had just make damage on Nirn Sorry for my english :( No props - but they are not allied to the Bosmer, they annexed them :)
-
Release it already! :)
-
I hope that a future expansion or even new Elder Scroll game permit us to destroy them all, they are dangerous, they must be destroyed :) I completely disagree. Thalmor must be destroyed by the elves themselves in a revolution otherwise we would encourage a race war - like the Great war
-
Well i think you'll need a lot of ram (or good ones) a lot of the mods sucks ram out of your machine :) a heavy graphics card something like 2 GTX 560Ti i gigs where do you live? country? i can get you some links to the cheapest sites

That needs a source. Never heard of the Ayleids slaving the nords (and no, Wikia isnt a trusted source, specially when you find things like that without a single reference). Hell, for all we know, while the Ayleids were conquering Cyrodiil, the nords were peacefully living among the Snow elves in Skyrim. When the elves were the dominant force, Skyrim was inhabited by the Snow elves, when the elven races started to decay, Skyrim had a human kingdom already. The ayleids dont get into that picture, at least not if you want to picture them along humans. Now if you want to make a cultural connection between them and the snow elves, that could have happened. But with humans i dont think so. Well yea they controlled all human kind (at least in Cyrodiil) the snow elves were long gone (fled to hammerfell & morrowind) but yea their ruins could be there? but aargh! i want the Welkynd stones ooh and the Varla stones :D
-
The Ayleids did control Skyrim for some time before the great Human uprising so there is no reason why Bethesda did not put in the ruins :) http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Ayleid

Seeking roleplay suggestions: agent of a divine...

The Nine divines - just because the 2. dominion says so doesn't make it so ;) There's a mod coming out "the Vigilent/s of Stendarr" in April that would focus on killing undead and Daedra you could start now? create a monk priest character and continue that road when the mod releases? download the Sleep, thirst & hunger mods? make it more of a challenge to live as a hermit? -
I don't think its as generic as Cyrodiil - the areas are way more well made, but yea there's not a lot of mystery in Skyrim - i remember when i found the statue of Meridia - i was thinking OHH my GOD! when she spoke - and receiving Dawnbreaker was huge! But then the emptiness thinking.. oh that was it - no where to go just plain old skyrim. ---- But yes! Where the hell is the Ayleid ruins? and the Welkynd stones!? - i used to decorate my crib with those badboys in Oblivion :)
-
Everyone hates them - and we were meant to. In Skyrim the aldmer is the Tamriel equivalent of the Nazi party. But in Oblivion it was different ? I remember walking through all the old Ayleid ruins killing zombies, skeletons - diverting traps etc. I loved the vibe i got from the old ruins. But I have searched far and wide ("completed" the game 3-4 times) and i am still unable to find any real Ayleid ruin :( Then i thought - sure someone else must have felt the same, but when i checked the forum / mod community it's all empty. No mods, no discussion. ________ Have any of you "dear fellow nexus forum members" felt that lack? am i alone ? has the Empire's propaganda filled your heads so much that you don't even miss the Welkynd stones? or the beautiful Ayleid ruins? their magic wells standing in the forest of Cyrodiil? let me hear your thoughts ~Kind regards Lunder :)

Oh and i almost forgot - With all the beautiful lighting mods out there a alternative to torches (through Welkynd stones etc.) would be spectacular ? right :)
