I bought Skyrim about a month after it came out and by a year later I was modding. This has become a huge hobby for me and quite obviously has saved me a ton of money in games. If I were to compare what I have spent in donations VS. how much I usually paid for games during that time I've come out way, way, way ahead. So I hope you guys at the Nexus understand how (at least) one guy feels about what you do and what you provide. So saying "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU" isn't enough, but its a start. And for anyone reading this that actually took the time to make negative comments...stop for a second to think about what YOU put into this and what YOU get out of it...and grow up. Its because of people like you that the world has Nukes.

Hello, I have recently upgraded to the latest NMM. I have around 217 mods running and I'm getting 60fps. In other words all is well...except...when I try to activate a regular mod (waves for example) it activates fine. When I try to activate a fomod (skyre for example) it goes through the motions then I get an error message that says mod is not activated. Can anyone tell me what's going on. I tried to update Dragon Combat Overhaul. When I went to uninstall the mod it said something about a trace file. So I looked up the trace file and this is what I got: the process cannot access the file c:\steamlibrary\steamapps\common\skyrim\data\dragoncombatoverhauldragonborn.esp because it is being used by another process---->System.IO.IOException: The process cannot access the file. Please somebody explain what is going on and how to fix it. Thanks for any support

I have been modding for about a year now and am pretty good at troubleshooting, in fact it has become my hobby. So much in fact my wife introduces herself as a "Skyrim Widow".....LOL. Hello Everyone, Thank you for reading and please help!! I have 199 Mods up and running and I have a stable game. I have tested and retested and can't get it to crash...this is good. What I can't do is get an innkeeper to rent me a room. I have Realistic Needs and Diseases activated along with Realistic Room Rental Enhanced and they show active in Boss but the room rental won't work. In fact it doesn't even show up in the Skyrim menu where all the mods are listed and tweaked and activated. Please if anyone has any idea what is going on let me know. Since I can't rent a room at an inn I can't sleep and then it makes the game impossible to be immersive. Thank you. Furankuchan

Anyone having trouble downloading files.

I have been able to get 50 t 100 mods running at once with Boss and all the other tools out there. When I get to 200 or more I get an unstable game even running boss. I'm trying to get several examples and use them as a guide or template to see where I might improve what I have. Frank

Hello. I have been modding Skyrim now for about 4 months...I have been reading about merged patches and batched patches but there is very little info on exactly how to do it. A man by the name of Sharlikran made a video on how to do it but it is now listed as private. Does anyone know of a link on how to do it, or maybe some good directions. Thanks in advance. Hello All. My name is Frank and... I... am... a... Modder.... Ok so I have watched all of Gopher's vid's and quite a few others and I have about 100 mods going. I then found out about Skyrim Immersive Creatures and that's where my troubles started. When I activated the mod I got invisible monsters and purple axes with no Giant wielding it. Then I started doing some research and in my studies I am hearing about a MERGED PATCH...a BATCHED PATCH and A LEVELED LIST. I do not understand this stuff and what it does and how to use it and everything about it. People out there talk for hours about the proper way to pronounce the word LICH...but I can hardly find any info on this that is easy to understand. Does anyone have any suggestions or help on where to look or would someone like to personally help me I will pay you...Thanks in advance to all who help my 5 year old son and I are grateful. I was reading the readme for Expanded Winterhold Ruins and it said...Please add this mod to ASIS exclusions list if you are using it... I am using both and i don't know how to do this. I had the problem with the sun shining through everything while using climates of tamriel. bfloatpointrendertarget is set to 1. This is a section in my enbseries.ini (from CoT)... [EFFECT]UseOriginalPostProcessing=falseUseOriginalObjectsProcessing=falseEnableBloom=trueEnableAdaptation=trueEnableAmbientOcclusion=trueEnableDepthOfField=falseEnableDetailedShadow=trueEnableSunRays=false (this was origonally true}EnableSkyLighting=true Second to the last line you see EnableSunRays=false...which fixed the problem...AGAIN setting this to false fixed the problem. So my question is...is there anyway to add the godrays in from another ENB or another MOD. I cant figure it out. Thank you all for any help or suggestions you may have. Furankuchan

Hello All, I was just fooling around with one of the lightning mods and I realized that when I went under a bridge near riverwood to get out of the rain...it was still raining. Can anyone help...There are so many options in the Skyrim Flora Overhaul by Vurt (FANTASTIC MOD) which ones in that mod provide the densest forest look or thickest forest look. Some of the different combinations will cut your trees in half so I'm stuck. Any advice would be thankful. Also maybe you may suggest another mod in its place. I have only tried this one and cant make it work. Thanks again. Frank

Ok first of all thank you very much. Second what is Project ENB Data folder for Climates Of Tamriel UPDATE 2. it says its required for the COT presets. Also what is particle patch. Also what are all the other options for. Im not trying to be a pest but I have a I-7 overclocked and a GTX 680. I know im asking a lot so reply when you can. Hello. I have been studying this stuff for two days and I am still stuck. First of all I think I have Climates of Tamriel installed correctly. Boss says its active and I have seen some cool weather. The big question is how to install an ENB. This is a huge problem for me because I have watched all the videos and it looks so easy...but...When you go to the download part or file part...there are two files to download with nexus mod manager and one without. Then there are other files below that. Cant the mod author simply say..."download this first...then download this...then put these files here." It would be so easy. Now if I sound like a nutcase, I am. I'm not too bad at this stuff but I can't figure out how to install this damn ENB. I would be willing to give my email or cell out to talk to someone who knows how to do this. My wife and twins will be happy because I won't be talking to myself in front of the computer anymore......LOL. Thank you all for your time. Please help. Thank you. Frank Ingles [email protected]
