  1. I don't know if anyone will even get the notification for this (given how long ago this post was made) but here it goes

     

    Please put forward this request again :D With skyrim Special edition being out, and the modding community revitalized with the possiblities the new executable offers, we should finally get a proper ending , a just ending, an ending we deserve , which would also provide so many nice RP possibilities (like a a righteous Rogue Altmer standing against his kind "Renegade Elf") and from mods like Enderal and the Cowl of Nocturnal we know that such an alternative edning mod would be more than possible :smile:

     

     

    I'm curious as someone who still pla ys Standard Edition what does the new executable offer that wasn't availible in the original?

  2. I"m not sure actually. it's soemthing of a surprise to see somebody actually n0oticed this topic thank you so much but yeah I guess so, th ough it might also be nice for it to be a standalone texture resource.

  3. one odd thign about SKyrim to me was that this wasn't a feature at any poi nt before or outside of Dawnguard despite there being signficently more non-hostile vampire NPCs in the game. Alva in Morthal The vampires of Half-Moon Mill, Babette, and the COurt Mage of solitude all had potential to turn you in to a vampire but hte only NPC who's acutally able to do it is Serana and that's after a lengthy questline would somebody be able to ma ke a mod to give an option in dialogue for these vampires to turn the player? maybe as an added feature it would eit her require you to be at least friends with the NPC or pass a speech check?

  4. I have a simple mod request: cause damage to player vampire during sunlight hours.

     

    It bugs me that, as a vampire or vampire lord, I can walk around outside while the sun is out and take no damage.

     

    There are two vampire mods that include this feature, but they are overhauls and change a ton of other stuff. I don't want the default vampire system of Skyrim to be changed; I just want sun to whittle down my health while I'm out in the sun, like should actually happen to a vampire.

     

    If anyone can do this, you're my hero.

     

    Otherwise... I'll have to figure it out myself. This is driving me nuts.

     

     

     

    Not sure if this helps but the idea that htat's how it "should" hapen is actually fairly recent. up until the early 20th century vampires weren't perticulalry harmed by sunlight. Th ey were often weaker na dmore vulnerable durign the day but not direclty harmed or killed.

OK so, some mods like Better Vampires, Moonlgiht Tales, and Clean Up Your Corpses use aliases for thigns like converted vampires, werewolves, cattle, and NPCs ascended to Sovngarde so if I wanted to add another alias for personaluse (not to upload( where wou ld I do that? Do I have to dit a script or can I just edit the QUST record and add it that way?

  6. not an answer to your original question but you don't need Shadowmarks for Player H omes ifyou have THieves GUild Requirements.

     

     

    EDIT: Also, if y ou'r eusing Thieves Guild Requiremnts anyway you can save an additional slot on y our laod order by swapping out Localized Thieves Guild Jobs for the more up-to-date, fully featured, and stable Thieves Guild Alternate Routes - Taking Care of Business Mod by clarota

  7. unfortunatley I seem to be entiarly unable to get this program to displ ay prope rl y on low resolutions. the bottom part of the screen is alwyas cut off (same issue I had with Merge Plugins) and setting my DPI back to default did NOT fix it unfortunatley and, as someone who is severely visually impaired I need it on a low resolutions (800x600) jus tto be able to see what's on the screen.

  8. so I've been working on a character and I"m a little unsure on something. Would the worship of or adherence to Nocturnal and Zenithar be mutually exclusive? My chractar is a thief but he's fairly strict about it He won't steal from those who gained what they have through honest and legitimate means. Only those hwo stole, c heated, extorted etc and oftentimes he only steals evidence of corruption and worngdoing to expose to the public eye. So would this be a hard no for Zenithar or something of a grey area? There's also the matter of Julianos. as Julianos has a related command to "observe the law" but if th is comes in conflict with "Know the truth" what does that entail? anfd finally for hte matter of Stendarr what is the official stance on Stendarrs relations with the daedra? is he staunchly anti-Daedra or is that just the vigil?

    1. Merge the two in to a isngle mod so ast o keep bo th of their edits to any and all quests.

     

    2. Change the configuration options to use an MCM instead of powers or console commands

     

    3. make comparability patches for Thieves Guild Requirements and Thieves Guild Alternate Routs

     

    4. Make options ot do certain quests independently or in different orders/combinations. for example the Nightingale content is o nly currently available by doing Destroy the THieves Guild not Disband the Thieves Guild or, if I wanted to do the questline using the Alternate Routs mod perhaps make so you can still arrest or exile Maven, Maul, and af ew others under the right conditions.

    add taking care of buisness and you have a major overhaul,

     

     

     

     

    If you mean Thieves Guild Altewrnate Routs - Taking Care of Business Mod that's my primary TG mod right now so compatability with that would be a must.

  11. I've doine a little looking at that but I'm not sure whether the V2 version or the Immersive vrsion is better. but my idea is also not nessecarily to become a ruler but to enable the people of the Rift to rule themselves.

  12. I think ther eare three good options for locations to start as your first hold ot make your base in.

     

     

    Whiterun: Balgruf's neutrality makes it a good candidate for a start of a new revolution

     

     

    The RIft: just because the Jarls are the worst in the game and beign able to remove either of them form power and imprison/kill/exile them b oth would be a great option to start The RIFT belongs tot he people! N ot some Jarl or corrupt mead baron!

     

     

    Solitude and Windhelm: fairly self explanitory. starting here would mean only having one enemy to d3eal with for the rest y ou either remove the Empire and the Thalmor's foothold right off the bat or you remove Ulfric in one swift blow (for added poetry you could have the option to challenge him to a duel like he did Torygg)

  13. So, one of hte holds I spend most of my time in is the R Ift b ut m y thing ab out the Rift is thatboth of the Jarls are terrible. Lelia is an incompotant cowardly puppet and t han thee's Maven. I start to think the Rift would be better off ruling itself rather than being under the thumb of a Jarl put justice in the hands of the people and throw out the filfht of the Rift something like a historical anarchist community.
