r131 replied to r131's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
Answer to myself: We have at least a console command "gettime" with this wonderful mod: New Console Commands https://www.nexusmods.com/witcher3/mods/4919 -

Endless Captcha solved on Chrome at Nexus login
r131 replied to fallingrising's topic in Site Support
In fact it is pretty easy with FF. And I guess with every most other browsers as well. It's either they protect you (and YOU decide what you do) or they betray you (thank you very much for your soul) Back to the basic idea for you in FF: Privacy mode in FF means literally "privacy". It is throwing things away when you are done in one session, because that's the meaning of prviacy! If you don't like that, you have need for private browsing then. In that case, use the "unprivate" browsing, simply allow nexus' stuff to be stored permenantly (because you want to be here), throw away or block google (or whatever other creep you don't care about) and enjoy the site. Thankfully there is even a login captcha delivered by nexus' own means and not by some creepy 3rd party parasites. -
It's back again ... have fun
-
I doubt that

I would guess that they are updating. A pity, that it takes so long. But I wish good luck!

Seriously! Now that we go for 2FA, can we get rid of this farcical and disfunctional craptcha thing? I need less than half a minute to authenticate myself to online financial institutes - and they use neither crap nor google. Not so anymore on a random modding site ...
-
With google gone, we still have a nuisance. But at least one disgusting parasite less to worry about.
-
Almost, in a technical meaning. And surprisingly, without any further notice, 2 weeks after GDPR in every newspaper, now I face the choice of being annoyed or to feed 3rd party parasites? Let me consider my feelings about this for a minute...
-
That captcha is mildly spoken an annoying idea ... it takes me a minute to click all that nonsense. :(

Step 1: You need the debug console and have to set it up right. It's best to follow the description on the mod page here on Nexus Step2: Pick yur chioce :D A small sample from the collection that I have in my notes http://www.giga.de/spiele/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/tipps/the-witcher-3-cheats-god-mode-unendlich-geld-item-codes-und-mehr/ http://guides.gamepressure.com/thewitcher3/guide.asp?ID=30844 http://www.ign.com/wikis/the-witcher-3-wild-hunt/PC_Console_Commands_and_Cheats https://thewitcher-infynitex.blogspot.de/2017/02/the-witcher-3-all-console-commands.html https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wf79CzwVdgZ3qJJg-4lDmCKz0KSBVGe_s-qHqC6PTxE/edit#gid=1454433537

Geralt's Dislike of Draconids?
r131 replied to RevanFanMan's topic in The Witcher's The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
In the books, it is clear that he refuses to kill true dragons ... but he hunts other draconids without moral problems. Problem is, they are always a hard days work and not paid well. I guess that's the reason why. -
In the quest "The warble of a smitten knight" in BaW I can't win that stupid horse race. âAnd until I get it done, I can't partake in the final fight against the champion - it's always Palmerin's honor to beat that guy. Since it's my second playthrough, it bites me in the backside. Sooo back to stage 1: Is there a console method to win that f&$%&ing race? I would guess something with "addfact" but couldn't find any guide on that quest yet. Thank you!

So far, that's like a true RPG setting. Be someone else - completely unchained from real life facts & constraints. But I agree, that open games like Skyrim (player's liberty to choose her/his character) make that experience far more comfortable. To that degree, the Witcher games clearly lack a story from a female perspective. Ciri might be the obvious one. In a ranking: The "Blood and wine" expansion feels the most neutral story for me where Geralt's gender is not predominant in the mainquest. Witcher 1 would probably be the opposite for the told story.

In response to post #54811233. #54814953, #54818718, #54819003, #54826838, #54833298, #54834703, #54834953 are all replies on the same post. I have the same search issue (tested with Inigo and Vilja) ... but only on the new design site. If I switch back to the old one, everything is perfect again. Strange :/ I hope the twisted wire is found soon - I like the new design and except for "searching" I found no issues so far :D

Congratulations by myself! I celebrate with a little swish of Tawny Owl and some Drowners :)

"An error occured" when trying to add a mod
r131 replied to EmperorsGaming's topic in Fallout 4's Discussion
The hint for HTTPSeverywhere was a good one. :) I switched it of for nexus, logged out, cleaned all cookies, closed FF and started a new session .. working again.
