  1. Nice! Total environment overhauls must be insanely tedious; props for putting in the effort! Would love to try it when you're able to share it!
  2. Greetings all! I stumbled into a Youtube video that has really ignited my imagination. The creator is Death Sound, and he's working on an short animated series called Sauria: Show Trailer It's a fantasy land dominated by dinosaurs, ice age creatures, and humanoid reptiles. It might not seem on the surface like something that would work in Skyrim, but his newest episode Winter Weathered changed my mind. It's got mammoths, saber cats, snow dwelling Argonians (basically), and ancient ruins of past civilizations. Hell, it almost feels like a reverse of Earth's history: Mankind has died out (or vanished like the Dwarves), leaving behind traces of our former existence, and dinosaurs have risen to replace us lol. I was so inspired by this episode, it made me want to play a character in a similar world. I'm currently tinkering with a 'Sauria' themed mod list on MO2. Interestingly, Vanilla Skyrim DOES have a lot of elements of the show, and there's quite a few mods that help add to the setting: What I Have Obviously Argonians are the starting point. Even vanilla they're a pretty close to looking the part. Looking into mods that make them bigger, more bestial, and digitigrade. Vanilla Skyrim also provides all the Ice Age critters seen in the series so far. Mammoths, Saber Cats, Deer. Maybe add a mod like immersive creatures and I'm set. I wouldn't say the climate is perfect, could use more diversity, BUT what we've got is pretty damn good. Mod wise, I'm starting with Lizards of Skyrim. Been hearing about this one for years, and finally have an excuse to install it. That will hopefully remove all humans from the game. As to the dinosaurs, I'm turning to SKINWALKER21 and basically his entire mod list. If there's more good looking dino/prehistoric mods out there that fit please hit me up, but my search for them has mostly led me to him. What I Want Now for the actual request. Most of the essentials to have a working mod list for this theme basically already exist. The one thing I can't find are more Argonian based races that make them look more like Dinosaurs. Yes, there are a lot of great Argonian upgrade and aesthetic mods that exist and that I've downloaded, But with the exception of the Crocodillians they aren't used to create new alternative playable races. I'd only be able to Would anybody be able and willing to make some options in this regard? A Tyrannosaurid race for example? Possessing bigger heads, bigger tails, and are taller than vanilla Argonians. A Carno race? No, I don't want tiny arms lol, but a thin, rounded head with twin stubby horns. Playable races based on the crests made by SassiestAssassin? A Raptor race that uses Teh-Husky's Sickle Claw Argonian foot? (Both these last suggestions based on author permissions, of course). My thinking is that with just a couple such custom dino races, I could use Race Distribution Framework to replace all Imperials with one and use another to swap out all Stormcloaks. That right there recreates the conflict depicted in the series. If someone was able to make a white and blue themed Ice dino race inspired by Winter Weatherd's Helionyx, an Arctic Saurian, I could use them to replace the Skaal. Long read, I know, and I appreciate you if you got this far. Hoping someone out there can help me with this. The assets all seem to be available, I just have no modding skill whatsoever. Thx in advance for any help making these new dino races, or if you know of any existing mods that would help this build.
  3. Huh... I'm surprised there isn't one. Did some digging and no luck finding one tho. Have you tried using AFT to force one to be your companion? The 'Make Companion' spell works on random playable race NPCs, but I haven't ever tried it on a vanilla creature. Didn't work on Mihail monsters for me, so not expecting much, but might be worth a shot
  4. I just got Jedi Survivor and linked it with Vortex (V1.8.5) I really want to set up a second mod profile, as the second character I want to start will use mods that my first/default character won't use (Default character doesn't wear a mask - New character will and therefore will use the synthesized voice changer). Created the new game profile, but noted that the sliders to keep save files separate wasn't there. Thought maybe I'd missed the option and clicked to make a third profile, but confirmed that the separate save folder option was not there. Continued with mod testing. Added several mods for my new character. Voice changer mod worked! Satisfied with my initial testing, I went back to my default profile. Voice changing mod was still active and affecting my character, even though on my default profile it was toggled off. Deleted the second profile, but modulated voice was still active. Clicked the modded voice mod on my default profile (giving it the old turn it on and turn it off again try). Received warning that this would require modifying another file and I could choose to leave it as is or overwrite it with the 'new file.' Chose to overwrite it, then turned it back off. Tested game, and the modded voice mod was finally off. Long story short, my second profile was a bust. Seems like both profiles were somehow sharing a data folder since the activated mod in one profile was affecting the other. Is this an error on my end? Are multiple profiles not supported for this game yet? Any help would be appreciated.
  5. Did you ever get SS2 to work or find the incompatibility? I'm having the same issue, rebuilding my load order to find what was causing my CTD when loading a save and the culprit was SS2 and the addons I'd plugged in to go with it.
  6. Same issue.. Been fighting with my main profile for a while because of this problem after moving to a much better computer and adding a lot of new mods. Finally gave up, removed all my plugins, and been adding them back a few at a time. Got almost everything reinstalled and game runs/loads saves just fine until I got to SS2.. Crying shame because it's one of the mods I was most looking forward to trying on my new build. Anyone know of an incompatability or reason this would be happening? Game, F4SE, and SS2 are all freshly installed and up to date.
  7. Makes me sad this was never uploaded :.(..
  8. Crazy to me that after all this time, the only Predator armor in FO4 is stuck on XBone... Damn I wish I knew how to make mods; this is a crime. Fallout is PERFECT for a Predator character yet nobody wants to make it.
  9. Any progress on this mod? Dying to play it.Did this project die? ð¢
  10. Agreed. Never understood why it was always so hard to find Predator mods for FO. The setting and environment is perfect. Far better than Skyrim, which has the one well developed Predator mod. Any links to existing content would be greatly appreciated!
  11. Has there been any activity or progress towards a Predator mod? I keep seeing still images floating around with Predator masks in game but canât find the links.
  12. Hello all! Is there anyone who would be willing to convert all of the bandit factions and Foresworn, including Madanoch, into Argonians? I'm working on a roleplay for my Tropical Skyrim profile where the Argonians are defending their homeland against the human and elvish invaders who seek to colonize their tropical paradise. The Forsworn are perfect with their hide armors and tents, bone weapons, and hostile attitude. Changing the bandits into Argonians would definately complete the feel that there are indigenous tribes resisting the more civilized areas. Thank you for any feedback!
  13. I'm working for the first time on a Child/Growing Up In Skyrim (GUIS) play through. It's occurred to me that of all the follower and NPC mods I've seen, I'm not aware of any that add custom parents for the player character until GUIS. I applaud their attempt, but for any of us who've played the mod I'm sure we've all noticed how weird and lore breaking it is having standard follower dialog coming from your mom.. The biggest problem is that, I'm not familiar with a lot of vanilla dialog between parents and their children, or much of any dialog unique adults and children interacting (more evidence Bethesda didn't really want kids in the game at all lol). Hopefully I'm wrong and there's just enough lines to add to a custom set of Dragon Born parents. If not, it'd have to be custom voiced or read only. Once dialog is addressed, or grudgingly ignored, I'd love to see a mod that adds a ready made family of followers for each race. The Nord family for example could look like: Ragnar as father, Lagertha as mother, Bjorn as brother. Each race would have unique characters and are followers. You could just move them wherever you need them to set up your childhood beginnings. This could be expanded on so that each family has a unique starting location and backstory. Thank you all for your time and I appreciate all input!
  14. This is such a weird yet interesting idea..
  15. Sounds like you'd be more interested in the Become High King mod lol
  16. Could also replace bandits I suppose and accomplish the same thing - I'd just have to make myself allied with the bandit class in the console. I'm just really partial to the Foresworn armor, weapons, tents, play style, and backstory to fit the play through I want to start. Would all fit perfectly for an Argonian resistance against the Elves and humans who have invaded their jungle
  17. I'm in the same boat. Always been shocked that there hasn't been more Viking/historic Nordic content in the game. I'd LOVE to see more weapons mods, mead halls, armors, factions, and quests centered around the Viking culture. Playing Mount and Blade: Viking Conquest is a fun diversion in that direction. There is some existing content, and I know there were some mods that were started but I don't think were ever finished. Chronicles of Steel is a MUST have weapons mod if you're after a more historic feel. There was a Nordic themed mead hall that I have yet to test but I think was a recent Hot File; should be able to find it by searching 'Mead'. Another Guard Armor was made to give guards a more historic and diverse look; texture work isn't the best but it adds a different flavor. There was one I had super high hopes for but I think it fizzled after the initial buggy release. It was a Viking raider mod where you hopped on a boat, you'd 'sail' (basically fast travel from the boat you were on to another that was supposed to be the same at another location) to a generic location with randomly generated NPCs for you to slaughter and loot. Had a lot of potential but I don't think development really took it where he was aiming for
  18. Chronicles of Steel. My very favorite weapons mod
  19. Ugh... So many lore/historic/custom house mods I'd like to list, my argonian cave village, my Dovah'kiir Race.. so many mods I'd love to ask for. But my DREAM mod? I'd have to say it would have to be a detailed post-Civil War quest. Something that leads you to becoming High King. Something in the vain of Game of Thrones, where political intrigue and assasination are the primary obstacles and tools If you complete the quest on the side of the Stormcloaks, the Ulfric dossier comes into play. Whenever you discover it, it becomes a quest item. You get the option to confront him about his ties to the dominion. I like to think Ulfric was smart enough to play the Aldmeri and was using their help to further his own cause. He was never a true asset, he was a double agent for himself. But the risk of you exposing his secret is too much of a risk, so he attempts to have you assasinated. Quest would progress from there. For the imperial side, a similar mystery would unfold, where after defeating the stormcloaks you are attacked by a would be assasin. You follow the chain of clues to discover that Tullius, under orders from the emperor, wants you dead because he fears a return of the Dragon Blood is a risk to his power.
  20. Much as I've always wanted to see something like this, this thread is 3 years old bro.. Necro much? Hahaha
  21. They are not accurate from the TV show, but shingouki2002's Chronicles of Steel mod includes some GREAT historically accurate Nordic weapons into the games level lists. It's a must on my game - won't play without it. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12506/?
  22. I'm been tempted to run the 'Yet Another Guard Armor' mod for a while; I'm all about adding more of a viking theme to my game. I've been leaning away from it simply because of the bugs combining the vanilla and modded armor together, and because the textures are simply on the bland side. These tunics look fantastic though! Would be great seeing them added to the civilian level lists! If you like adding more realistic feeling/varied styles to your game, I HIGHLY recommend Brigandage: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32706/? It's a lot less well known than Immersive Armors, but it does a GREAT job of adding a lot of flair and diversity to the bandit classes.
  23. Greetings all! I have a weird request perhaps someone would be kind enough to help me explore. I'm opening up a profile in my MO for a Tropical Skyrim play through. I have a story arc in my head that I won't bother you with, but the short version is that Argonians who are not enslaved by human/elf masters are hiding in the jungles resisting the invasion of their land. The very best faction that I think offers the tribal look I want are the Foresworn. I've always liked their tribal dwellings, armor, and weapons. Would it be possible to convert the Forsworn into Argonians? I'm familiar with the old Lizard Love mod that turns EVERYONE into an Argonian. Would a more targeted race change like this be easier or more difficult? Thanks in advance for any feedback!
