  1. In response to post #63335506. #63336471 is also a reply to the same post. That plan is gonna be what sinks them. Bethesda is going to claim that they are attempting to monetize New California by using their unofficial Fallout work to hype funding for w/e next project they touch... shame.
  2. So this is how modding finally dies and becomes monetized. With thunderous applause from its last bastion of freedom. Shame really.
  3. Virgin is a perfectly fine word to use for this description. As well as native. People need to stop getting their underwear in a twist when people say potentially "triggering" words. Gotta love the political correctness of today's society.
  4. In response to post #29074009. I doubt it, but I would hesitate to update at this time. If the uninstall/reinstall crashes during the process that questmod you have in might break and thus, you would lose all progress. So don't update unless you are POSITIVE you understand what you are about to do and at least understand that something might possibly go wrong that would cause you to have to reinstall mods by hand and/or start at scratch and reinstall the whole go.
  5. In response to post #29069689. #29069989 is also a reply to the same post. Yeah, several times in fact. Why? I'm not quite sure why you felt the need to ask "Did you even read the news post!?" as if to imply you were frustrated because I pointed out an obvious fact. Taking frustrations of that sort out on your subscribers and supporters is highly unprofessional. At this point however, I am going to cease discussing this topic with you (specifically and your moderation staff), a moderator, as I fear for my accounts safety.
  6. This should have been delayed until Fallout 4 launched.... :/ would have given you two extra months (well, at least one extra month) to have worked on ironing out any last minute bugs and such.
  7. In response to post #29034569. Did you catch this following paragraph as well? It's also become obvious that we once again need to clarify the fact that NMM has always been in public Beta. That's not something we just say, it's written in big bold letters on the splash screen every single time you start the program up. When we release updates we release them on the pretense that first adopters, like any Beta software, are helping us to test the software. If you want to instantly install any new update to NMM as soon as it comes out then you do so in full knowledge that the changes made could inadvertently negatively affect your mod installation. If you didn't know that, despite the fact the word "Beta" is plastered all over the NMM download page and software, with clear warnings of what is involved with being in a Beta, then, guys...you need to read up about what you're actually installing on your PC before you do it! We're looking for help with our Betas. If you don't want to help and just want a stable piece of software to mod your game with then don't sit on the bleeding edge of the updates of NMM. Hold back and let the others who do want to help do their work. This is how we do things, it's how we've always done things these past four years since NMM's initial release. The system is going to change when we bring NMM out of Beta, but until then, that's how it'll remain. Basically we've beta'd a beta that should never have been in beta. Awesomesauce.
  8. In response to post #29007719. Honestly your best bet is to rollback to .56.1 and stay there until they get w/e they need to sorted out.
  9. In response to post #29005664. #29006474, #29006524 are all replies on the same post. Anyone have a link to an older version of Nexus Mod manager floating around? Say around oh....56ish? .56.1? maybe? Any help finding that would be awesome, thank you. **EDIT** Never mind, found it myself. :D
  10. In response to post #29005664. f*#@ it I give up. Mods aren't uninstalling correctly, mods are "installing" but not really installing. Its just one big ol' mess. My complaint isn't about .60 as a whole. I knew EXACTLY what I was downloading, what it would entail and what it might entail. I transitioned fine. However, when I got under the hood of my mod list and began uninstalling and "reinstalling" my mods that is when the issues began cropping up. I don't think the manager is ACTUALLY uninstalling anything, because when I go to reinstall the mod I just installed (billboards, I need SFO Billboard to overwrite the Vanilla Tree Billboard) it doesn't work. So...like I said, f*#@ it. I'll just take a break from Skyrim until they fix it, if they ever fix it...rofl.
  11. Clearly the amount of f*#@ery damage this did to everyones Skyrim mod list should be a clear indication that this was a conspiracy to encourage us to FINALLY put down Skyrim and move onto Fallout 4. Thats the ONLY way I could possibly explain how long it takes to uninstall mods on 60.8, or even delete mods completely from profiles for some reason.
  12. Well, I was looking for an excuse to remod Skyrim anyways. Thanks for providing it. And this mod profiling tidbit should be quite interesting. Since I like the spring/summer texture overhauls, flipflopping back and forth between those should be very interesting to see.
  13. In response to post #24744864. Ironically the ones we lost, were the ones who fell on their own swords at the launch of this war.
  14. I can't believe we won. o.o' Well, sort of. I mean we did have ALOT of people actively opposing this.
  15. In response to post #24614504. #24614519, #24615754 are all replies on the same post. Interesting, I saw an ENB preset tab on Workshop earlier today.
