  1. I have the same problem as OP. I need games that 'can take me away' for endless hours. So far I've played Fallout 4 in about 5.637 hours. It's mainly character creation that drives me. I've struggled to create a character I can relate to as well as replacements for Cait, Piper and Curie. I actually only finished the game completely a week ago :P Besides from that I played: 1. Skyrim - 2.134 hours 2. Skyrim SE - 920 hours 3. Mass Effect (all three games) - around 1610 hours 4. Mass Effect Andromeda - 590 4. Dragon Age Inquisition - 1187 hours 5. Witcher 2 + 3 aprox. 630 hours. I think online games are those who can satisfy you the most. I played Unreal Tournament for about 11 years in clans. But maybe I'm getting to old for this kind of social behavior? It doesn't appeal to me to debate with others and see no solution in the end. People both show the best and worst in these online environments. I'm also looking for new games to play. BIG games with a HUGE world to dive into and forget the real world. I was looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077, despite the fantastic game I got frustrated because of the bad endings and literally ditched the game. Now I look forward to the next Mass Effect, The Elderscrolls 6, Fallout 5 etc. There just don't seem to be any good alternative to the old games right now. Well, you can play some of the newest Assassin's Creed game again, like Odyssey and Origins. I used 1007 hours on Odyssey alone. Well, it doesn't have character creation, but still...
  2. Resolution recommended from NVIDIA Exp. is 3620x2036 DSR, but this freezes my GPU. Only lagging occurs with the arrow creating long traces on the screen.I'm sure it has nothing to do with Windows changing to HDR. I have a G7 and it always 'go black' for a second or two when starting a game (because I don't use HDR in desktop mode). But it changes fine, takes a little longer but it works. But I can't even get past Main Menu. I get a black screen with ambience in the background. Disabling mods make the game CTD in an instant.
  3. THIS IS EMBARRASSING! I finally found out what was wrong. I simply forgot to make a copy of my "Fallout4Custom.ini" file before I ditched my old PC. I simply forgot to add: [Archive] bInvalidateOlderFiles=1sResourceDataDirsFinal= I guess I'm getting old?
  4. I don't get it? I just build a new PC. The only parts I used from the old was my graphics card and two disks. One of these disk was an SSD with A Steam folder containing Fallout 4. The rest is new. The SSD received a new drive letter, but Steam was able to find the folder and verify the game files. They were all ok after checking. I started the game and discover a lot of my mods doesn't work. The hair styles are gone, the CBBE bodies, the Eyes of Beauty and some of the VTAW clothes as well. The strange thing is that some of the clothes are there. Some mods are working and others not. My PIP-boy is still having the black color from the mod. I still am wearing the earrings and necklace. But the main body (torso, arms and legs) is not visible. If I equip the Vault 111 suit the body is standard vanilla. It's just like CBBE is not working? My face still have the makeup choices I gave her. I attach an image to show how it looks. I made a safe copy of all game files to another hard disk, deleted Fallout 4 via Steam and reinstalled. Then I copied all the saved game content back to the SSD WITHOUT overwriting anything. So, in theory all the mods including meshes and textures should now be in the right place. I had LOOT check my mod list and order and saved. But it's still not working. The mods are all present and checked in the list in the games' mod tab. I have changed resolution from 1440x900 to 2560x1440 but this shouldn't affect it? I don't use NMM but always install my mods manually. So, there is no interference from NMM in this case. This is a big mystery to me. There must be something I have missed? It feels like as if the game doesn't get the meshes and textures from the installed locations main the 'Data' folder. I noticed that the game apparently ignores the fact that many of the mods uses *.ba2 instead of *.esp when I look in the plugins list. But it makes it even more mysterious as CBBE uses the *.esp but isn't active? Has anyone had this issue?
  5. Dank Rafft has created a mod with multiple options. One of these is "- Romance Judy as male V" I figure it wouldn't be such a hard taskk to add the Female V + Panam romance? He didn't add it though. https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/818
  6. Yes, a uni-sex mod for this game would be number 1! All the dialogue lines are exactly the same weather it would be a male or female protagonist, except for the initial starting point. CDPR took a long step into gender freedom with this game but they just forgot to make all romances free for all genders. This is something I simply don't understand. Bethesda was smart, right? I haven't heard of any complaints against them, have you? I guess game companies are affraid to loosen up in case of being accused for 'misleading' innocent children or they are run by seriously old-fashioned stiffnecks? NB! Just remembered that Judy has a dialogue line where she says something like: "I'm always picky about my girls". So it might collide right there.
  7. I have played this game for exactly 4.044 hours when I write this. And now I am getting really annoyed about the explosions triggering every time you are about to loot after a fight. I've noticed the game tries to slow you down by spreading the bodies of enemies in all directions (and I have a suspicion that the spread is getting heavier along with your level progression as well) by letting something explode (no matter what as long as it spreads the bodies). I am sick and tired of running around for loot every time I killed enemies. You can use hours on looking for the bodies. And sometimes you never find them anyway because they are thrown into some inaccessible graphics out of visible sight. I looked through the mods but was only able to find some that prevents your own body from exploding in multiple parts. I also found one who supposedly should prevent NPC's to dismember. This makes it a bit easier to locate the bodies after all, but still. You can't do anything about Brotherhood Knights landing on top of buildings. That's just how it is. But running around in an area in search of 10 different bodies having to give up on the last two after 10 minutes really annoys me now. Isn't there a way to minimize the spreading of the bodies after explosions?
  8. Thank you for being both strategic, honest and informative about this! Mush
  9. They definetely did something that changed the game in this last update. When I started my game tonight the image froze with only music in the background. I had to check the game files via Steam and it downloaded a completely new 'Skyrim.esm'. The game worked after that. Later I discovered my 'eyes' folder (Data\textures\actors\character\eyes) was not recognized by the game anymore. Most of my other mods are working though (Apachii Hair, Apachii Divine Elegance Store, Amorous Adventures, Bijin Warmaidens, Amazing Follower Tweaks etc.). This is wierd. Why change the file locations? It means whole structures are altered?
  10. Is free modding going to die? The day they release skimpy armor and clothing perhaps...
  11. Why are people so interested i 'Achievements'? I've never played a game with the goal in mind to obtain any of them.
  12. Paid mods? I don't know... I was expecting something more exquisit somehow. Something out of the ordinary. But so far I haven't seen anything I'd like to buy. The story doesn't get any better either with the mods they're offering. I think Bethesda is trying to take over the mod community. The reason is a bit obscure, but I can imagine they want to remain one of the biggest game producers in the world. Integrating modders in this way would secure Bethesda a lot of ressources to draw from when they need them. At the same time they pull the activities closer to them selves and the games. I find the mods on Nexus ten times more interesting though. Nexus even have adult related mods. I doubt we will see the open chest vault suit for sale in the Creation Club...
  13. Not to be unpolite, but I think the counter (-s) are still broken somehow? One of my pages have the exact same frequency of Unique and Total Downloads as before the correction. At least that's my feeling. I notice this because I find it interesting how many different persons download my files and how many times in total, to see if some turn back a second time. Maybe I'm wrong, but I still think the Unique proportionally follows the same rate of the Total Downloads.
  14. The idea to ad a 'report' button beneath the advertisement is a good idea. Very good indeed. In this way you can still run ads but also have a better control of misuse of the courtesy agreed. Not all companies are alike, but most would definetely spam you from here to hell if they could. I've experienced some fatal cases in my time. That's the reason I use both AdBlock and NoScript. The few ruins it for the majority. Sadly. With a report button you tell the advertisers they have to stay inside good manners or they will be reported. Smart.
  15. Not as far as I know. I use small pieces of paper to write down the slider settings for my characters. Takes time, I know. There is a tool that can change the makeup settings though. It's the 'DAI CLI Save Editor' by ricco19. I son't know if it still works. It is a bit complicated too.
