  1. Several modders have made Volkihar ready as a player home and also cleaned up the castle, but none have made a mod that allows you to move into it with you family (wife, children, stewart, housecarl, carriage). I wonder why as the castle would be a unique home. It's large enough to create and stash whatever you want in there. It only needs a smelter, forge and a grindstone. I tested all the mods existing. None allows you to own the place Hearthfire style. I installed the Creation Kit, but that's way to complicated for me. I'm the kind of guy who merely succeeded in creating a character with the NPC Editor. In connection with Heartfire there were some problems with your spouse not being able to move to Lakeview Manor. It had something to do with with the ID of this house and Breezehome, which obviously was the same. It got fixed somehow, and now it works fine. But it makes me believe that you have to add Volkihars ID to the list of posible player homes? I should think it would work as the castle is fairy navmeshed. You also have several entrance points. Isn't it a shame that the castle is deserted after Harkon's death? Valeria only uses her laboratory when she comes back from the Soul Cairn.
  2. The Vittoria Vici marriage quest is definetely one of the better ones in the game, ending up on the emperor's ship. Intrigues en masse. I did it only a single time though and really had a major problem with it. I hate the Dark Brotherhood. Scum of the earth. I wipe them out with no hesitation, starting with Astrid in the shack. I enjoy pretending I am going to kill one of the three hooded persons, only to turn quickly around and place an arrow right between her eyes. Paid assasins don't live long in my present. If you have to kill money or a bleeding heart should not be the reason.
  3. Isn't it a political matter? I always join up with the stormcloacks. I can't stand the nice and well dressed empire. Just like trained identical puppies. Everything in order, precise and correct. Slaves of authorities and systems, so they don't have to think so much by them selves. I tried to join the empire one single time. I was so bored. Well, I also find the story and quest line only half as good as the stormclock part. Ah well, I guess it's just a reaction on the world today, with all the centralised goverments, high tech and the way we get further away from nature.
