  1. This can definitely be done. Look at the Lost Patrol quest and see how it handles brandis; use that as a framework. I've never done this, but it sounds like a good idea.
  2. Does anyone know of a good female body texture mod that adds the textures to the overlay menu? I'm using NPC Male Bodies for the males, but I can't find anything like that for the females. Basically just a pack of female body overlays.
  3. I know this post is old, but if anyone else needs a fix, here's the one I found and use: 1. Open the mod in FO4edit. 2. Right click the mod in the left pane and select "check for errors". 3. When the face morph errors show up in the message window to the right, Ctrl+double click the formid. 4. Find another record of similar type (if a child has face morph errors, find another child that doesn't have errors) and Ctrl+single click it in the left pane to compare the two. 5. Scroll to the face morphs and adjust the errors. In my graphic, you can see that 000186b0 is supposed to be eyes, but eyes are 36ef34bf for this record. What I like to do is pull up 2 fo4edit windows so I can Ctrl+c/Ctrl+v the records faster. Let me know if anyone has a faster way...
  4. This one for males https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/46694 This one for females https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/54601
  5. took me a while, but I found one. This is basically what I was looking for. When I set the fat to the maximum, I didn't to see abs and veins. It's called NPC Male Bodies
  6. I figured it out... I forgot that I renumbered my form IDs and didn't update the .Json... I'm a dummy. Thanks for the help!
  7. I made an MCM menu for one of my mods, but when I exit MCM in-game, the toggled options don't save. They default to "off", I change them to "on" and exit, the changes don't take, and when I check the menu again, they're back to "off". I'm new to this.
  8. Unfortunately, that only has dogmeat's main body parts in the spectral file, like the vanilla record. I'll keep googling to try to figure out how to edit it...
  9. Nice find! I'll give it a shot right now. Thanks
  10. Found this, but how do I edit the color on this .dds?
  11. You're right. That's exactly the part I'm having an issue finding. There are no other features for dogmeat in the texture files, though.
  12. So I was mapping dogmeats .dds so I can make some color changes... But his legs and sides were not in the .dds file. As you can see in the picture, they are still brindle. Does anyone know what file governs these sections or how these sections are colored if it's not in the body.dds?
  13. I actually just tried it yesterday. It's not right. VB22 was shooting out too many errors... I'll keep working on it, especially now that I have a week off for the holidays.
  14. Yep. I caved and just deleted the game and re-downloaded it. It's not in there now. I wonder what was causing my game not to start after I remove the load accelerator files
