Ah ok, that makes sense! Then i think a clean new installation would be the better solution, because out of a reason i can't find, my Skyrim now keeps crashing to desctop when i try to save the game or when it wants to autosave. Happens even with all mods deactivated and new .ini files. Maybe because there got something corrupted in the Data folder. So many work/fixing/things, i just want to play a necromancer.... Thank you very much! -

Did a temporarily workaround. I renamed all main folders inside the Data folder, created manually a matching pendant and copied the NMM-folders files into it. All 0kb files switcht into it's normal size, SUM with SkyProcPatcher worked fine again. Will try the game when it's finished, hope it's running well now. But i still need help to figure out the sources problem to NMM not be able anymore to create proper folders. -
Hy, i have a very specific problem and i try to describe it as good as possible. I think it has to do with the last big Windows 10 update a few days ago too, but this is just a suggestion, because i have no clue about deeper matter to this. My Main harddrive C: is on my SSD, a Samsung 850 EVO 250gb. On this drive is Steam installed. My Games drive G: a normal 2gb HDD from Seagate. I have my main steam games installation folder on it. I have Skyrim and Fallout 4 installed on SSD because of a lot better performance and less loading times. I install my mods for Skyrim with NMM mostly, and a few if needed manuel. My mod storage folder is on G:. Now my problem is as following. My game was running fine, everything worked perfect. Right when i was playing Skyrim a few days ago, Win10 gave me a message, that there is the new creators update or something, it wants to be installed. Because i had to go anyway, i saved my Skyrim play and allowed Win10 the update. When i came back, starting my PC, Windows updated a few moments the new Version, restart, starting Skyrim and everything seemed fine. After a few minutes, i wanted to quicksave and Skyrim CTD'd. After a lot of searching, i found out, that many files in my Skyrim folder where set to 0kb. BUT, the only files affected where files in folders like "textures", "meshes", SkyProcPatcher and so on. Somehow ".esp" files and a few others, where not affected. At first i thought It's NMM, because when i tried to reinstall those affected mods, NMM only installed the mentioned files with 0kb. By advice from a nice member here in the forum, i copied the whole Skyrim folder out of my 'Programm86x' folder into a new location i called "Games C" on C:. Out of total couriosity, every 0kb file turned into its normal form with its size it shoud be. I switchted the NMM mod installation folder to 'Games C/Skyrim' and isntalled without any problem the left few mods i deinstalled previously. I started Skyrim and everything worked fine, i just mentioned a few pink and blue texture miss marks in two caves, but i wanted to play, wasn't anything importent, i could reinstall the missing textures later. Then a few days later (now) i got a CTD on saving the game again. Out of nowhere, the exact same files in my Skyrim folder of textures, meshes, scripts and so on turned into 0kb files. When i try to reinstall with NMM they again are just 0kb. When i try to manually overwrite them out of the .rar files, their 0kb files. But when i extract the files onto G: out of the .rar and overwrite them into the Skyrim after it, they turn into normal size. When i extract the files into a differend location inbetween the Skyrim folder, like one folder up, they get the right size. When i rename a folder created from NMM with '_' to the end, and create a new folder named the same manually (without _ on the end) + extracting files out of the .rar manually again, the files will be normal size, not 0kb. If i now, delete my manually added folder, rename the original folder installed from NMM back to its origin, and extract again the exact same files manually out of the .rar into it, their again just 0kb files. (of course because it's the 'old' folder). Something is wrong with all folders in my Skyrim folder, in connection to the files forseen to be in this specific folder, but ONLY created by NMM. What the actual heck can it be? This is not normal and i can't find a answer anywhere, i really need help please. Reinstalling the whole thing would be brutal and will pretty sure end in the exact same result. Because folders get created by NMM. I've given NMM administration rights on opening and Win8 compatibility. Wasn't needed before, but didn't changed anything too, so... I reinstalled NMM, didn't change anything. Checked my SSD and HDD, both are doing fine.

Solved! Nexus Mod Manager corrupted somehow, just spitting out 0kb files. I manuelly overwrote the specific files and all is workin. Da hek.- 1 reply

Thanks for your help! I guess, Steam corrupted the whole Skyrim folder with matching uploaded data somehow. The solution was, to look what folders are at 0 and manuelly copie the lost files into it. NMM was not able to install the files correctly, it always spit out 0kb files. Whole perkus maximus had to be reinstalled too. Aswell as a bunch of textures like mentioned before, 2gb lost data. Since that point, everything is normal again, but in a different steam untouched folder. Overall, i found out NMM got corrupted. But i have no clue how that happened. -
Hy, i have a problem with Cloaks of Skyrim and HDT Cloaks. There is Cloaks of Skyrim, CoS Ultra HD, HDT Physics Extention, Cloaks of Skyrim v1.2 HDT CCO from bola08 and Illustrious HDT Cloaks. When i first installed my Skyrim mods, i accidentally installed "Illustrious HDT Cloaks" and "Cloaks of Skyrim v1.2 HDT CCO from bola08". Out of curiousity, it all worked fine, i got hdt cloaks, my follower and everyone else had working hdt cloaks. But as known, they can glitch out massivly like dancing to the sound of Dovahkiin. I decided to get hdt cloaks off guards, found out i installed illustrious + bola08 cloaks. So i just uninstalled bola08s cloaks with nmm, back in game aaaaaaaaaaand, all cloaks where invisible. Then i uninstalled everything related to cloaks (maybe not everything like CompleteCraftingOverhaulRedone, if there even is something to COS). Installed, CoS -> CoS Dawnguard -> CoS Ultra HD -> HDT Physics Extention -> Illustrious HDT Cloaks. Took the cross for CoS+CoS Dawnguard out of the loadorder, because the Illustrious HDT side says to do so. Cloaks Still invisible. So i took out Illustrious HDT Cloaks and installed bola08's cloaks, with CoS+Dawnguard. Now i can't get out of this state, HDT cloaks in any way always look like this. How did that happened and how do i solve this problem? Thx in advance! :)

Yes, I got one on C: my SSD. I only got Skyrim and Fallout 4 on it, because of better performance. The problem is, steam does not allow a second games directory on the same drive. Edit1: Just for curiosity i moved skyrim into a new blank folder on C. But still got those awefull mesh replacers. I don't think it's caused by the windows update, just a bad coincidence. But i have no idea what could cause a running game to break without any changes too... Maybe a broken/corrupted mod? Out of nowhere, can that happen? I was so happy with how it was running. Oh and i forgot to mention. The snow, everywhere, was violett/blue, like no texture. When i reinstalled "Better Dynamic Snow" and "10x Better Snow", it was in most over normal again, but a few parts stayed without texture. Edit2: Ok, i mentioned something absolute strange. I wanted to veryfy Skyrim with Steam, but befor doing that, i kopied the Skyrim folder to a new position outside of the programm86 folder. While doing that, i got errors that files can't be copied cause their not existent. I said ok go on. After it copied the Skyrim folder, i compared them and mentioned, that there was like 2gb more data in the copie as in the Steams Skyrim folder. How the absolute heck can this be? It copied nonexisting files, or better, files they do exist but with 0 size, to the right of its size????? I started Skyrim from the savecopie and all was fine, no exclamation marks, no missing textures nothing, it just runs fine. How is this possible? I only can say, it has to do with the Windows 10 update, but what did it to the files?? -
Hy, my Skyrim was running pretty well, no big bugs/problems so far. But today, when Win10 asked for the update while i was playing Skyrim. I closed Skyrim and let Windows do it's update. After i opened Skyrim and loaded my last savegame, i got a pretty weird bug. All weapons from the mod "Immersive Weapons", where gone and instead of the weapons, there now is a big red square with a big white exclamation mark in it. I guessed it's missing meshes, google said so too. My next step was to reinstall Immersiv Weapons, but that didn't helped. Someone got this problem too, with smim. So i tried reinstalling SMIM too, didnt help. I doubt this was caused by the Win10 update. But what could have cause a "Closing game, restarting, loading last save and boom ultra bug". Anyone a idea how i can fit in those missing mashes again? Without reinstalling the whole game, there must be a way to get the originals source fail fixed.

Thx for your reply! Oh ok, so i need to give every npc (animals/undead/bandits) the ability to open doors? I will need something like Skyrim Editor equal to FO4edit i guess. Then i need a specific line in every enemy and change this part of it. OR do i have to change it ONLY for resurrected animals/people and rised skeletons from perma, in the mod perma itself? Can you or someone else pls tell me the exact steps?- 2 replies

Hy, I'm using Perkus Maximus, lvl 6 now, so far everything was alright. But when i finally was able to create a skeleton out of bones with the spell "Rise Skeleton", it did not follow me threw a cave hole/loading screen. I then just tried to fast travel into Whiterun, surprisingly it did follow me and did not die (in SkyRe Skeletons always died from fast travel). When when i wanted to leaf Whiterun, my skeleton did not follow me threw the gate, i was alone. Tried to fast travel and waiting, saving reloading, restarting game, nothing helped. The skeleton is stucked in Whiterun. Google could not find any solution. Is there anyone who knows what's going wrong and how to fix it? Would be very kind!

Dude wtf, i don't even own a console, just a xbox classic and it's 15 yearsold. I'm playing on PC, with controller chilled on my couch on a TV, like every normal human is doing with Skyrim. This is a request forum, i did a request and hope for a little wonder comes true, i have no clue why you're here. Nothing what you're writing, is related to my post. All you say, is alrdy checked/done/observed for years from me. There is not a single part new to me, but you're talking to me as i would be dumb, as i would have no clue and would be totally unexperienced. Pls stop your unrelated insult, i need this topic for my request and not to debate with a person, who has nothing construcive to say. Ty. Edit: Can someone pls tell me how to block someone in Nexus Forum? I can only find a button to this on the main nexus page. I want to prevent further senseless discussion.

It took me 1 minute to find that befor i even thought about opening a thead. Has nothing to do with what i asked for. They are multiple years old, totaly bugged, unusable and for keyboard. I was asking for a controller related mod, what is absolute superior against current hotkey mods. Thx anyway, i just don't like it if people call someone dumb threw the lines for no reason.

Hy, i love playing Skyrim a lot, but it's a hazzle to swap weapons/spells, even with SkyUi. Out of that and some other reasons, i recently played a lot Fallout 4. The first cool thing i mentioned, was the Fallout 4 way to handle the way playing with controller. Fallout 4 has a sort of "Quick Pick Cross", what makes it easy and fast to switch between favorited weapons and or items. It works like the normal D-Pad quickpick for Skyrim, just with the tripple ammount. Looks like this https://imgur.com/a/WfGaN You choose a item/weapon as favorite and assign it to the cross quick pick where you want it. Then you press for example D-Pad left, left + A to confirm (X-Box Controller) and boom you got whatever favorite is placed there. This would be super easy and nice for Skyrim too. At best with a fixed assignment to left/right hand and automatically unequip option or something better, to avoid this stupid "weapon stuck on hand" bug. Like, you set a weapon/spell as favorite, then the cross poofs out and you choose the place of the item/weapon you want it to be on the cross. After that, 2 symbols plop up, the left and right hand, so you can assign it to whatever your liking is. Is anyone possible to create this? Would be the most awesome ever.

Hi guys, After a big pause, i installed Skyrim completely new, got two problems, maybe someone can help me, would be very kind. First problem are lights. When i for example, go into a tavern and in the middle of the room is a cooking station. All seems ok and nice, but when i step a foot forward, some lights start to go on or sometimes off. I can move forward and back, the exact equal lights will go on or off, depending of the position of my camera angel. I have no clue what could cause it and how to exactly search for it. Google told me things like installing the "Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Patch". I had it from start. How could i fix it? It's outstanding annoing. The only light mod i use is 'Enhanced Lights and FX'. Second problem i can't find a solution with google is this: I use SkyUi. When i set a hotkey for a dagger, as example, to the right trigger of my controller and a spell to the left trigger on another hotkey and i put on the spell by hotkey to a already equipt dagger, my dagger will not unequip. The spell just gets overwritten to the dagger and the right hand will have both animations on it, dagger+spell. + when i set a grp with SkyUi, like Group 1 = "left hand = Conjure ghost", "right hand = dagger". And i press the group 1 button, it's ALWAYS "dagger = left hand", "spell = right hand". Why? how can i change that, makes me crazy. I found a mod called "More Hotkeys Please", what tells to work around this problems, but it seems buggy and not supported/updated since 4 years. Does anyone have a solution for me? Would be the holy grail. :smile: Edit: Looks like Enhanced Lighting and FX, as well as Complete Lighting Overhaul do both cause defects of their own. Using Relighting Skyrim atm and it's nearly all fine, just some light box flickering with torches at some places.

I have no clue about modding, my greatest success was adding 75 carry weight to a backpack mod without +carryweight, by comparing it with another backpack mod what has +carryweight. So i added the missing lines. -
Hey guys, i want to use Legendary Modification only for armors and take out the weapon legendaries. Because those weapon mods are somehow overpowered. How would that look like or how could i do that? Hy friends, i need help figuring out, how to change the value of ammunition, the Microfusion Breeder Gun is producing. Atm, it's gamebraking, cause you get infinite ammo and you don't ever need to change/use any other weapon, even if it would do the double amount of dmg like a plasma gun. In 50 levels, it stored now ~140k ammunition. It produces 1 ammo/sec and i want to make it 1/20 of ammo production and using normal fusion ammunition instead of the "breeder" ammo. But i have no really clue about modding and the more bad thing is, there are just zeros in FO4Edit when i look into the "microfusion breeder", "regenerate ammunition script" and "university point" files of this weapon mod. Hy, i have problem with my light/shadow graphics, hopefully someone can help me with it. I want to get away this blurry relief building and get it sharp/normal. It looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/kVTKm You can see those huge unestetic reliefs all over the picture, it's everywhere, where objects are in the depth of field range i guess and at the same time, in a shadow. But i turned off depth of field and installed this mod too: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4172/? Maybe i'm totaly wrong with this assumption. And i remeber, it has always been this blocky on certain positions, without this mod and turning off dof (dof on). Light and shadow graphics are set from mid to high. But those reliefs are even on extreme settings. I use ENB, self tinkered, i know there is this lense, but no matter what i do, it stays this ugly and blurry. Hy, I need help with Legendary Modification 2LM in combination with Custom Combat Armor and Better Locational Damage. When i build a combat armor on the 2LM workbench, the Combat Armor has no color options from Custom Combat Armor, like when i find him or build him on the normal armorsmith workbench. I couldn't find a fix for that on google. I sorted CCA esp after the Armorsmith Workbench esp and the LegendaryModifications.esp + LegendaryModifications2LM.esp befor Armorsmith. I tried sorting CCA befor LegendaryModifications, but i get a loop error because of Armorsmith and i guess, it wouldn't help either. Second problem is: I think Better Locational Damage alters the overall damage from all weapons, beneath all other game changings. The thing is again with Legendary Modifications 2LM, when i build a weapon on this workbench, it has the standard Vanilla weapon damage, how could i fix it? Or would it need a compatibility patch? I sorted Better Locational Damage after LegendaryModification+2LM esp, did not help. here my mod sorting list if it maybe can help in any way: Thanks for help in advance :smile:
