  1. Skytweak is a multi purpose mod, however you can customize the damage given/taken on all difficulty levels if you want, which is only one of the nearly endless features. However, the only downside I found is, (and I don't know if it's only for me or not) sometimes the changes don't save when you exit/reenter the game. It may just be for me, but it takes like 2 minutes to tweak back to the same rate anyway. "Duel-Combat Realism" is the best combat mod in my opinion. It's balanced and useful. Here's a description if it from Gems, who I think puts it best:

Over 5K endorsements. Armor more effective, weapons parry better, higher dmg, MUCH higher arrow dmg, shorter attack range, slower health regen, faster Stamina regen, timed blocking = less stamina loss, many ways to stagger or knock down opponent but w/ quicker recovery, MUCH smarter NPC AI (teamwork AI)

(All credit goes to the G.E.M.S website for this description.)

As for Stamina, it depends on your character. When I play a spellsword, I rarely, if ever invest points into stamina. I focus on Magicka and Health. For mu last to playthroughs, I had a Nord 2h warrior, and I focused on Health primarily and then Stamina secondary. I put maybe 1 point in Magicka in case I need to conjure something up. On my current play through(a dual wielding archer Khajiit, level 53 now) I put most of my points into health, about 40 points into magicka, and then a bunch into stamina. Stamina isn't greatly important, because you can have enchantments to raise it but I like to keep it balanced and I like to roleplay. It isn't realistic to have a light armored, archer Khajiit who's a tank LOL, but that doesn't mean he can't be hard to put down. I say depending on your playstyle, try to balance stamina. The most important, in my opinion, (and in this order, from most important to least based on a general scale) are health, magicka, stamina.

  2. I also recommend "Duel-Combat Realism". It is very, very helpful. Another substitute for "Enhanced High Level Gameplay" is Higher Level Enemies. You may want to check that out also. As for Skytweak, it is not buggy AT ALL,from what I know. As for rasing the health of bandits/draugr, SkyTweak has an option somewhere in one of it's subcategories(through MCM) that allows you to give NPC's a health boost(followers, enemies, the whole shabang). However, it does A LOT more than that. But when you download Deadly Dragons, it comes with an optional file called "Deadly Monsters", in which you can basically do the same thing as you would with dragons:Tweak their damage/health/resistances etc.

  3. Okay. Yes, the Dragonborn Cultists are part of the Dragonborn DLC. They're supposed to attack you, but they aren't really that hard(at least for me). Yous aid you were having trouble with Thalmor and now the Cultists. It may be that although your character is a heavy hitter, he cannot take magic damage. Magic damage hits hardest from enemies at low levels. You typically want to be careful at low levels around magic users and 2handed boss bandits. Those are the people who can oneshot you. As for the mods I listed above, if you decide to overpower yourself, those mods will help even it out. Plus, you can always tweak them to your liking. You should also DEFINETLY keep the Economics of Skyrim mod. I actually have used the enchanting but not too much, and it didn't make me overpowered(and like I said, the character was a dual wield archer, and dual wielding as well as sneak archery are EXTREMELY OP, and yet I still had difficulty). As for Dragons mods, the number 1 mod you should install is "deadly dragons"(you may also want to get the addons known as Deadly Dragons Armory and Deadly Dragons Spells). With Deadly Dragons, you can tweak dragons to your liking. It makes them more difficult, but you can tweak their damage output, health, armor rating, etc. and this cool new feature known as assault. By the way, you have to have SKSE as well as SkyUI with the Mod Configuration Menu installed in order to use that. So Deadly Dragons is the Dragon mod that comes first. Then, if whether you want Dragon Combat OVerhaul or Enhanced Mighty Dragons is up to you. Dragon Combat Overhaul makes dragons more challenging, and removes the feature where Dragons land when they are at 40% health(which is great, it makes the battles more interesting). Enhanced Mighty Dragons adds a variety of new Dragons ranging from very easy(who don't even give out souls) to very difficult. The rest of the Dragon Mods I listed don't have to do with difficulty, but rather with variety. I suggest installing Duel Combat Realism and Enhanced High Level Gameplay for regular combat, and all the dragons mods I listed above, because Deadly Dragons caters to you(i.e you can tweak whatever you want about it), and the rest of the Dragon mods except DCO rather focus on variety than difficulty.

  4. Here are some things you may consider doing. On my Khajiit Archer who also dual wields, I am currently level 52 and if I don't have AT LEASt 2 followers with me and I get into a bandit camp, I'm going to be reloading A LOT of saves. Same with dragons. I cannot even dare fight a dragon my level without some of my trusty followers. I'm on Expert, with the armor cap(however no enchantments yet) and I can still get my ass handed to me. Here's a few mods you may want to try: Enhanced High Level Gameplay This improves high level gameplay, even though I consider level 13 to be a low level. You should also try Duel-Combat Realism for a better combat experience(it is fully compatible with Enhanced Enemy AI which you said you have running0. You may want to install SkyTweak, which allows you to tweak damage, health, poison doses, damage taken/given, etc. It allows you to tweak whatever you want whenever you want. For Dragons, you can try Deadly Dragons( a must have IMO), Dragon Combat OVerhaul, Enhanced Mighty Dragons, and for variety you should get Bellyaches new dragon species and Dovahkriid. The newest "Civil War Overhaul" overhauls the Civil War and one of it's features is to make Imperial/Cloak AI less stupid and harder to kill. Considering you can one shot Draugrs, you may want to pick up "Immersive Creatures" which adds over 2000 new creatures to the world of Skyrim, including new types of Draugr. Last but not least, try "The Way of the Dovahkiin-Ultimate Deadly Encounters A.K.A The Sands of Time" which allows for you to be interrupted during fast travel, sleeping, waiting and so on. It also adds tons of bosses and more random encounters that occur, well randomly LOL. Anyway, hope this helps and one last thing is that if at level 13, you have 2 pieces of gear with grand level 1h enchantments, then don't expect to NOT be overpowered. I suggest you enchant your gear with strong enchantments end game, otherwise the game will get boring real fast. Like I said, on Expert with the mods above and a few others I can die in a bandit camp. Now I rely on strategy rather than just running in heads on and killing everything in my path. Good luck, and I hope find a mod list that works for you.

  5. Also, I can't believe I forgot to mention that you can enchant your CB with Shock damage. It'd be useful against vamps because it'd do damage to them, AND damage their magicka at the same time. So you could go with fire/shock, or if you have the Dragonborn DLC Chaos Damage and Paralyze. Up to you really, but those seem to be the best choices without mods.

  6. Well, I'm just going to assume you're on PC. If you don't mind cheating, you can easily search up a sword/dagger/bow etc. with a paralyze enchantment and add it via command console. If you're not into that, you'll just have to get lucky in loot. Another quest that is underrated is, if you go to Ivarstead, seek out "Temba Wide Arms" and collect 10 bear pelts for her. She'll give you an enchanted weapon, usually with a rare enchantment. Also, if you want to play the Daedra/Vampire hunter character, you could always find a weapon with the "Banish" enchantment that sends Daedra back to Oblivion. However, keep in mind that it is VERY soul gem hungry and in my opinion not worth the enchanting with, although it is the enchantment with the highest value in the vanilla game, and possibly with all DLC's(i.e Iron Daggers can be worth over 2k with it).

  7. Hmm. Well, fire damage is a good choice. However, there are better ones. Now, I'm just going to assume that you have the Extra Effect Perk. If so I'd do Fire and Magicka Damage(or Absorb Magicka may be better, however it has less charges). Another one you could go with is Paralyze(at least the chance for it, it is a vanilla enchantment). Now, when you said Vanilla Enchantments did you mean JUST the vanilla game or do you have the DLC's like Dragonborn and Dawnguard? If so, I'd suggest the Chaos Damage enchantment from the Dragonborn DLC which you can get by disenchanting the Champion's Cudgel. Other than that, it's really playing tot he Vampires weaknesses if you're character is a strict vampire hunter. Vampires have at least a 30% weakness to fire, and they mostly cast spells like Reanimate, Thunderbolt/Ice Spke, and Vampiric Drain. So Magicka Damage and Fire would be the obvious ones. And also, I wouldn't recommend using Auriel's Bow unless you use the "Reduce Destruction SPells by 100%" enchantments(25% each). That way, all your weapon charges like Fire, Magicka, Health Absorb, Frost, Shock, Chaos, etc. will not deplete no matter what. But if you don't do that, than Auriel's Bow depletes very quickly. Most likely when you're done with one vampire lair, it will need to be recharged. Anyway, I hope I helped and have fun hunting vampires.

  8. Well, there's plenty of mods you can triy. One is "Duel-Combat Realism" that greatly improves combat. You can also try Enhanced Enemy AI. IT's a fairly new mod but it works great. SkyRe is another one, although I don't personally use it for my own reasons. You want DCO and Deadly Dragons for Dragon encounters, and you may also want to try Enhanced Mighty Dragons and Dovahkriid. Also, Deadly Dragons comes with a plugin called "Deadly Monsters" in which you can tweak the damage, attributes and resistances of beasts/humanoids and so on. Immersive Creatures is great to add variet to your game, and "The Way of the Dovahkiin" is a great mod that allows enemis to disrupt you during fast travel, sleeping/waiting in dungeons, and adds bosses as well as many new armor sets. The recent "Civil War Overhaul" focuses specifically on the Civil War in all it's aspects, but it improves the AI of Stormcloaks/Imperials and makes the battles more challenging as well as adding more of them. Remember, that one is only for the Civil war. And there's Enhanced High Level Gameplay that makes the enemies stronger when you level up, so you don't get bored easily. Some other great ones include High Level Enemies, Deadly Combat, Ultimate Combat and Bellyaches new Dragon species. I have most of the ones I listed above installed, and even at high levels if I'm not careful I can easily die from a group of bandits. If you install a bunch of those mods, I recommend getting a follower mod like AFT or UFO(I think AFT is a lot better after trying both) so that you can have more followers and smarter ones as well, because it will help in the longrun. Hope I helped.

  9. Hmm. Well, I'll try to do my best but I don't think Skyrim is the game for her. Yes, it's a huge open world game, but it's also meant for combat. You cannot go explore a fort without running into a bandit mob or a group of necromancers. You can't enter a Dwarven ruin without expecting Dwemer Creations and a bunch of Falmer and Charus. If you want to remove Frostbite Spiders and Charus, I have only heard of REPLACERS for them. Basically, for the Frostbite spiders there is a mod which replaces all of them with an 8 legged version of Spiderman, which adds a sense of humor although it breaks immersion. As for Chaurus, I have yet to hear of a replacer/remover for them. Your best bet is for your friend's mother to avoid Dwarven ruins, which is where they usually lurk. I have yet to see one in the wild without mods that enhance nature. Also, if she isn't fond of Dragons, I think there is a mod that allows you to completely ignore the main quest and just adventure. Not sure if it completely prevents dragon spawns though. Then there's "Alternate Start:Live Another Life" which would allow your friend's mother to skip the intro with the Alduin and the execution, and pick how she would like to start her new life. In all honesty, I have no clue how to make the game have less combat. I'd try searching the Nexus and maybe you'll find some stuff. I just listed off the top of my head what I think could potentially at least lower the chance of gore/monsters. Also, if your friend's mother does manage to stumble upon combat(which she definetly will) there is a mod that allows you to turn off kill moves, so that it won't be as bloody. Sorry I couldn't help that much, but hopefully you find something good for her.

  10. Well, to answer your first question, no Daedra do not drop Daedric armor. The only thing you'll find them drop is Daedra hearts, possibly a black soul gem, and an enchanted weapon, usually Daedric or Iron(strange, I know). So although they do wear Daedric armor, it cannot be looted. As for your second question, I'm pretty sure that it still counts as Dawnguard armor. It would only make sense for it to. Personally, I only wear modded armor so I can't confirm 100% that you'll still get the bonus. What you can try and do is make a save, enchantt he Dawnguard armor, equip your full set(chest, boots, guantlets, shield and helmet) and then check your active effects. If somewhere in your active effects it shows the enchantment, than you know it works, If not, well then you know it doesn't work. You can then reload your previous save.

  11. Well, there's a bunch of stuff you can do to at least try and improve your gameplay. One thing that helped me a lot(because I have A LOT of mods running) is downloading the Anti Freeze patch over the internet. Just google "Skyrim Anti Freeze patch" and download that. Also, make sure you turn your shadows OFF COMPLETELY. You can do this by going into your Skyrimprefs.ini and locate these lines:"finteriorShadowdistance" "Fshadowdistance" and "FShadowLODStartFade". Turn all of those down to zero. Also, if you use mods try to avoid mods that 1. Visually enhance your Skyrim beyond what it needs to be 2. I found that mods like Warzones on my PC(it's used for multipurposes, I use it for work, the internet, and gaming) usually cause freezes and ctd's unless you have a computer that can handle it. I'd say try playing Skyrim on Medium quality, turn down all the Skyrimprefs.ini tweaks I listed above to 0, try the Anti Freeze patch, and do not install TOO MANY mods. If your PC is that lowend, than you should probably go with the Offical Bethesda DLC's and maybe a few mods. If your computer can handle it after the things I said above, than go ahead and install more mods. Also, if none of what I said above helps you, then I suggest searching "Hialgo Boost" on the Skyrim Nexus and downloading it. I heard it helps a lot of people. Personally, the Anti Freeze patch is enough for me, but if your computer is that lowend than go ahead and try it out. Hope this helped.

  12. On my first Imperial character, I married good old Lydia. On my Nord, I married Jordis. On my Dumner, I was married but forget to who. And currently on my Khajiit, I married Lisette, but she attacked me for random reasons so I had to kill her and then use console commands to restart the marriage quest and I ended up marrying Grelka(yes, I used console commands to marry for my Khajiit). Grelka is a funny and awesome wife. She's not at all like the others. The other wives always try to be loving and say "yes my love" but she's sassy and sometimes a total b**ch. But I love her because all of her dialouge options make me LMAO.
