Doh, i should read the forum a bit more frequently... Missed the £11 mistake. How was the beta test of ET:QW?

Hi all, hope everyone is keeping well :) I've not played any PC games for ages, partly becuase nothing looks worth playing and I've been busy with work. Still looking forward to playing some ET:QW, assuming my laptop will run it... I'm not a subscriber to FP, but I'll try and get a demo copy once keys are handed out to the plebs. If all goes well, I'd be happy to consider paying towards a server. Cheers, MadAnt

I'm away Mon-Wed night next week, and should hopefully be online in the evenings. But if you suggest any night then I can use some of my brownie points with the better half to get a night of GS gaming.

OMG about time. Hope everything is fixed this time, but I dont hold up much hope for some reason... Cant wait to get back on the GS server. Hope its populated Friday as I'm having a session! See you all soon.

1.3 sounded like it would be the patch from god, but look how it screwed everything up. I can not play now with out a crash to desktop or sever crash. Sooooo frustrating >:(

1.4 has been delayed until further notice... >:(

Hope it has fixed the server crashes, crash to desktop, red tag bug... Looking forward to getting the GS server back online - shame I'm on holiday from the 19th :) :( .

Looking forward to 1.4 being released which will 'hopefully' fix the server crashes, then getting the GS server back online. Might give DMoMM a try - dont know what your missing until you try it...

Never really been into the Fantasy gaming thing, but there appears to be plenty of players who love it. Maybe I should give it a go. As a kid I was always into the Star wars or WWII rather than things like Dungeons and Dragons, and I guess that carried on into my adult gaming life. I think BF2 should have enough longevity in it until Feb 2007 as long as EA sort out the really annoying bugs. I still really enjoying playing it, but get really frustrated with the server crashed and crashes to blue screen.

NOOOOOOOOOO. I had already pre-ordered ETQW on Amazon, but now its not released until 23rd Feb 2007 :( I used to love playing ET - best free game ever. Oh well, might have a new PC by then. Might order 2142 just to try out and something different to BF2. How much more buggy can it be than 1.3???

AF is fine by me. I played a little more yesterday and it makes a change from vanilla BF2. I’m looking forward to some good squad work in the little-bird and even the A-10 is growing on me – just needed to adjust my bombing strategy and get used to avoiding mobile AA and trees. If it gets boring or the server doesn’t fill, then we can change back to regular BF2. I may get online tonight and will have a full night’s session tomorrow assuming I can get internet connection in my hotel.

Just out of curiosity, how does a Brit end up all the way in Brabant (The area these city's are located) this because it's generally not the first place foreigners visit in the netherlands. This got anything to do with Philips? It has everything to do with Philips. One of my biggest customers. However, I dont usually stay in either city, I stay in Antwerp and drive over to Brabant for my visits. Dont often get much chance to stay in the 'Dam...Shame. I think you're from near the Hague? I've only been there a couple of times to visit the European Space Agency. I like going to the Netherland and Belgium (I hear you spit), good people and excellent beer. Cheers, Ant
