  1. I'm trying to understand the Steam instructions. I feel like a complete idiot. Is the link supposed to take me to Stardew Valley and where is 413150.acf located? Can't find anything.
  2. Isn't it enough with the ol' Only update this game when I launch it if you're always launching via MO2/F4SE...?
  3. I ran it again with the correct one (I assume this is it) and the result is 107311 temporary and 109428 persistent loaded references, for a grand total of 216739 loaded references. Is there a way of knowing if this is over the limit?
  4. I was hoping someone with knowledge could shed some light on this subject since the information I can find is limited at best. I just ran the count_loaded_refs_in_load_order_CK script and the result is pretty staggering: "Found 1864222 temporary and 109433 persistent loaded references, for a grand total of 1973655 loaded references." Does this mean I've actually managed to reach the ref limit for this game? ;q Some info tells me I have and some that I'm still under the limit, albeit moderately.
  5. I managed to change it by logging out and in again and then immediately go to settings and change it. If I waited more than a couple of minutes the bug appeared again so this is very weird.
  6. That was the first thing I tried when I got the error. Unfortunately it didn't help. Tried with different browsers as well.
  7. Trying to change my username, which I haven't done before, but no matter what I choose I get "no restricted words". I've seen I'm not the only one getting this. What's the cause? Also, the download speed has been incredibly slow despite having Premium.
  8. Thanks for the replies. It's the difference in optimization I'm interested in. Like I wrote; I've been extracting certain mods and they work fine without being in the BA2 but I did notice a delay in functions when I extracted XDI so I restored that archive. The conclusion seem to be that certain scripts definitely need to stay in the BA2 and some doesn't. Mods like Persistent Volume Sliders and Auto Close Institute Doors can be extracted without problems.... Edit: is it true that if a mod has one ba2 it still counts as two, for some reason?
  9. Just a simple question: does scripts actually gain something by being loaded in a BA2 on older/weaker systems or in general? I'm always balancing on the BA2 limit and have started to extract small BA2s that only contain scripts etc. Haven't noticed anything yet but I'd still like to get a clear answer on this if anyone knows. Example: automatically lowered weapons. Without knowing how it works I assume that script must be running constantly.
  10. I'm having this weird issue where if I swim deep enough with my ENB on (George's) it's like it suddenly turns off after a certain point of depth and the water and lighting becomes vanilla. Swimming up again turns it back on. Figure someone must've seen it before and knows why it's happening. I'm aware of ENBs and New Vegas being a slightly incompatible story but almost everything else works beautifully. Can't figure this one out. Have tried turning various settings off in the ENB and tweaking water settings in the INI but it continues to happen. I have also tried different water textures.
  11. The 4gb patcher is included in the VNV guide so I have. Educated guesses was kind of what I was after :smile: I'll try to gather the information needed as soon as I'm not in complete apathy. I've tried to remedy the error for two days now. Edit: after some more testing this error seem to be pretty much exclusive to the area near Forlorn hope and the camp itself, iow a known problem that to my knowledge hasn't been addressed? It has something do to with scripts regarding legion/ncr battles glitching out and being too large and therefore draining the memory. Wish I knew how to just disable those scripts.
  12. I doubt anyone can help me at this point but I'm throwing this out there just in case. I'm decently experienced in modding NV and this time I'm using Viva New Vegas as a base so all those fixes are in place. I've got 317 active mods, 188 plugins & necessary patches (manual when needed) to sort out any incompatibles and recently finished a complete playthrough with two crashes in total because the stability is great. I've slowly been adding more and more textures along the way in my second playthrough but nothing over 2k. Halfway through the second one I decided to throw an ENB into the mix (George's) and I've been following all necessary steps regarding the memory setup etc. and suddenly I got the out of memory error. Now, no matter what I do the out of memory error kills me more or less directly when I try to play. Same thing if I remove the ENB (and all its files) completely. I've tried to remove various heavy mods adding a lot of npcs and downsized landscape textures to 1k but nothing works. It's like the game is suddenly cursed. I've reached the end of the line and will simply uninstall if no one can suggest something since I'm not interested in beginning again this time around. My system is old, two Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 with 2gb each and 8 gb ram but I never go under 40fps in the most crowded of places. Any ideas...? ;q
  13. I was wondering if someone who knows his mods could enlighten me on the difference between The Legion will ryse and We are Legion BETA? There so many overhauls of his out there (and so many versions) it feels like I'm ready to be detained.

Perhaps someone knows how to fix this: I downloaded a preset for Piper and used the SLM command but for some reason her lip is twisted (it looks like its supposed to if I enable and disable her but the lip always comes back; I have no idea why) so I wanted to revert back to vanilla. Is there a way or am I stuck with this version in this playthrough? :mellow:
