  1. Would be funny if number seven was a New Vegas version of Mothership Zeta, probably set in area fifty-one.
  2. Anyone know if a mod exists that lets you upgrade Ed-E with both the followers and Brotherhood technology? It irks me that we can only pick one.
  3. So no chance we will get the old design back? I guess that is a shame. The site is not as intuitive as before, it seems like a step backwards. I really hope we do not have to wait four years for this to be improved upon to make it as user friendly and functional as before.
  4. It is not going to go anywhere, Bethesda Softworks is not going to win, their case is very weak. Still, it stirs up some media attention for both games and as they say, there is no such thing as bad publicity.
  5. Have to say I am not really liking the new format, I am sure a lot of time and effort was put into it, but honestly it is not better.
  6. I never got the crashing issue, but I do use only a select few mods in my game. Thanks for the update AlexanderJVelicky.
  7. I can not honestly say I mind one way or another if it is release it parts or as a whole. Come November Skyrim will take up much of my gaming time, but I will most definitely still be playing New Vegas too.
  8. Do not just add any mod players suggest Dalendry, you have to keep in mid that some mods can and do conflict with each other. Not all mods are stable and some, especially larger mods, can crash your game. Play New Vegas for a bit and get used to it, when you start to notice things you think could be improved upon then do a search on the Nexus and add it to your game. Start off small until you are used to it and really understand what you are altering/adding with each mod. If you want mods I suggest The Collector and Deimos, they are both story based mods that blend very well into New Vegas without changing any core parts of the game.
  9. A good way to reward the player is experience, a mini perk for the completing of each simulation additional damage to a specific creature or increase in some kind of gun usage, You could be imaginative with this. Weapons or armour make no real sense as an incentive, unless they are truly unique, how about access to a device, that makes ammo or repairs armour. You could set it up so each completed simulation unlocks segments of a player house surrounding the simulator. Hopefully you might get inspiration from some of those suggestions, I look forward to the first release. :)
  10. A small problem I noticed when I was swapping out the Deimos Cannon Prototype and Reinforced Radiation Suit for unique models for my personal enjoyment. The Deimos Cannon uses Microfusion Cell, Max Charge ammo, yet on the model and during reload animation it uses the Electron Charge Pack texture. Not a big deal I know, but you probably want to know.
  11. A boss means we need boss rooms, large enough to run away and hide or dodge around and evade. I would imagine a boss being similar to Old World Blues Giant Robo-scorpion or the General Jingwei end fight in Operation Anchorage. I am fine with the bosses not having unique models, but I do hope they fit the location they are in and the battle themselves are imaginative. What is your current simulation work in progress AlexanderJVelicky?
  12. If one were to bring back any place from Fallout 3, I would say Dunwich Building should be high up on that list. Another level could be an old west town, would be great having a shootout at high noon, plus I think Fallout New Vegas has the assets to pull that off.
  13. Sounds great. My answers to the poll, named areas would be preferable, no less than 20 minutes each area. No followers as that is just problematic, plus being a simulation it does not seem correct to have them come along. I loved Underground Hideout's simulator and the Anchorage DLC, so I am most definitely up for more of the same. Also would be nice if the simulator needs disc's which one has to find, it would add a little exploration into the mix. I am a fan of exterior areas, If you are taking suggestions I would love to see a snow location along the lines of Anchorage and perhaps some sort of pre-war town where one has to unravel a communist plot!
  14. Apart from the cockroach which you seemed to want to add anyway. How about these two as a pair, a companion and his pet, or at least it would be nice to have something similar to them. I am not keen on the helm, but they do look truly excellent as a pair. Edit - Plain humans are so boring, but these are full of character.
