So, I've found myself on many occasions going through the games list to see what has mods and be like "Oh cool this game has mods?!" and then go to it and it's just a bunch of reshade profiles. Those aren't mods! It would be nice to distinguish in the games list which games just have reshades so I can ignore them. Something like this:

Hey everyone. I'm probably not going to keep the Megaton House and Theme Overhaul alive since the 2.8.8 patch. I'm hoping there are other mod developers that are interested in taking over. When I load fallout with both mods and the esp that's supposed to move an object from Personal Terminal, the object hasn't moved at all. I need to make it a patch for public use, so I can't just make the change in PT directly.

It's been 5 years since I've last used the GECK and I can't for the life of me remember how to create a compatibility patch for my mod (MHATO) that will move the terminal from Personal Terminal. I figured I just had to activate my mod and PT without setting an active mod then move the object and save as a new esp, but it's not working. -_-

There are a few themes for a house that each have a ton of objects, so with all the themes shown in the editor, it's very difficult to work with a certain theme. How do I hide all the objects linked to a marker? I tried selecting the marker and using 1 to hide it, but it doesn't hide the objects along with it. I remember doing this back when I was really into Fallout 3 modding, but I have completely forgotten.

I'm working on a fix for constantly having to ask for permission to cut your own logs every time you want to use the mill, and I'm trying to edit an existing script added by the Hearthfire DLC and compile, but the compiler fails. I'm not sure what the issue is or how to fix. Errors: All I've done to the script was comment line 568 in BYOHhousebuildingscript, which is "; LumbermillOperator.Clear()" FIXED: I had to move all the resources inside the Hearthfires folder into the main resources folder.

Most likely there is no Navmesh. Since there are no NPC's, navmeshes are pointless to work on at the moment. Navmesh is how NPC's navigate. It determines the area they can walk around in and where they can go, and they are unable to leave the borders of the navmesh.

I only meant that I can ignore the sound as I've had this bug for about 24 hours of play time so I'm used to it.

I have learned to tune out the bug, but it's still pretty damn frustrating when you are trying to hear footsteps or conversations...

Yeah that trick is very temporary... This bug is quite annoying considering Elemental Fury is pretty much the only shout I use.

Editing Number Of Companions?

Thank you very much, gents! EDIT: I must be doing something wrong. All I see is the list of the original Fallout 3's companions in the FollowersQuestSCRIPT. I know I opened New Vegas, so what's up with that? EDIT2: It's called VNPCFollowersQuestSCRIPT, not just FollowersQuestSCRIPT. -
First of all, there should be a damn search function for the scripts. Anyways, anyone know the name of the script that determines how many companions are allowed in your party?

Not sure about the perk thing, but I can help with the update. Right click Fallout New Vegas in the games list. Go to Properties. In the Updates tab make sure it says to keep it up to date. Restart Steam and it should automatically download/install any updates you have missed, if any. -

Are you sure you can't type in the console? Just in case you didn't know, the console button is "~". It may seem like it isn't doing anything, but press it once and start typing. You will notice the text is displayed in the bottom left corner. If you are using the 360 controller, simply change control settings to keyboard first and switch it back after. -

Try going to canyourunit and see if your comp will actually run New Vegas. Your processor is JUST making the 2.0GHz recommendation. -
Beret Texture Bug and Mike and Ralph's Bug

I restarted my comp and it seems to have fixed the weird beret problem. Haven't tried going into Mike and Ralph's yet but I'm sure it will be fixed as well since it fixed my crashing near Sloan. As for the flickering specs, I'm not too affected by it as I had to deal with it while playing Fallout 3 and have gotten used to it. Still would like some suggestions for fixing it though. I have a GeForce 9800GT graphics card, 2.33GHz Phenom Quad Core processor, 4GB RAM(3GB used since I only have 32x Windows 7), 1 GB VRAM. I have the settings set to the recommended settings, even tried lowering it a bit but it did nothing. -
1st Bug: For some reason the beret that Boone wears as well as the one given to me by Boone has a weird texture bug. If I look at Boone from a few feet away, the beret has a weird pixelated rainbow texture. When I get closer to him, the beret's regular texture fades in and looks fine. 2nd Bug: When I try to enter Mike and Ralph's store, it never finishes loading and sometimes crashes. I've tried validating the files on Steam, as well as disable all mods I had. Mod List: - URWL - MTUI - CONELRAD - Pickupable Bear Trap - New Vegas strip Restoration EDIT: Another small bug There are weird white, pink, or black specs that flicker as I walk around, but not when I am in the menu.
