  2. I can live with the redesign but is there a way to have the default mod sorting set to most recent like the last format had? That is, loading the mods page and having the most recently added mods be displayed first instead of the most popular?
  3. So I romanced Cait, but before we officially became lovers, we had set up our own settlement in the Starlight Drive-in movie theatre. In it, I had full control over what she did, and put her to work managing the scavenger's bench. Few hours later we go mirelurk hunting and she finally gets to the "idolizing" stage, and we become lovers right there amongst the overgrown crab corpses. Problem is, when we get back to Starlight and I dismiss her to go about her normal duties scavenging, she walks over and starts farming the razorgrain. I pull up the settlement menu to correct her, but she's not selectable, no option to assign her to anything, no option to move her to another settlement, just her and her name highlighted, the bed she slept in also changed. I'm 92% certain it's got everything to do with me romancing her, and having her companion parameters changed or somesuch after the fact. Has anyone encountered a similar bug and/or found a workaround? Or is this something we'll have to wait for Betheseda to patch out or a modder to fix? EDIT: New development; If I hire Cait out, and use companion commands to make her use the bed I assigned her originally, she'll continue to use it after I've dismissed her, and when highlighted in the settlement manager, it even shows it as her bed. It doesn't work for making her use the scavenger bench though, and she continues to go and farm the razorgrain, but at least she uses her own bed and I can get the lover's comfort buff from her, that'll be enough for me for now I suppose. Still hope this gets fixed!
  4. To Oblivion with this, i'm just gonna start a duplicate and cheat my way back up to where I was.
  5. It did not, I've got EnableDiagnostics set in SKSE.ini, it would've told me, at the very least I would've gotten the "This save relies on content that is no longer available" warning. Wrye bash isn't detecting any missing mods from the save either.
  6. Did it, made sure the save I loaded had no orphaned scripts, still crashed on load :(
  7. I did, loaded the backup file it made, as instructed, it won't even load that without crashing, so I'm convinced it's not that since every other save file on my one character has the one orphaned script instance.

The WATER compatibility patches don't require WATER.esp as a master, LOOT took care of that, same situation with SkyFalls + SkyMills and it's related compatibility patches. The only texture mods I'm running are the HD textures dlc, and a few miscellaneous retextures that SMIM doesn't even touch (designs of the nords, HD shrines, better carpets etc.) And I do actually have falskaar and wyrmstooth, I was silly and didn't scroll all the way up in the .txt file with all my plug-ins in it.   9. After NMM's 0.60 update, I had to reinstall all of my mods, and in doing so, my game crashes while in the loading menu when loading my save. I checked the papyrus logs, got this; Looks to me like there's some stuff missing, along with a bunch of errors. My load order; I used save game script cleaner, only detected 1 orphaned script instance, but all the previous saves of my current character also had it and the problem persisted regardless, so doubt it's that. I also made sure that all mods were once again present and in the right place using Wrye bash and skse's enablediagnostics .ini setting. Is my save file borked? Is this just what happens when you uninstall and reinstall your entire load order all at once? Is there any salvaging this? EDIT: Guess not even spoilers want to behave -_- Didn't want to scare people off with a wall of text.

I've just been dealing with this problem for almost a week now, and to finally have found the solution feels a little empowering, even if this means alot of work for me with getting everything back to the way it was. For real though thanks, I don't know if I'd have been able to narrow down the issue without the help.
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E6sh5lr8zMc All is clear now, the dark tendrils that were once invisible to me are now crept around my Skyrim directory, all the bad mods, errors and orphaned scripts conglomerated into an abysmal amalgam of evil, the likes of which rival the dour darkness of Hermaeus Mora. Born of my hand once feeble and green to the throes and dangers of modding, these demons have come back to haunt me from the realm of dead files. There is no saving the sinking ship, the crumbling keep, the burning bridge, there is only to begin anew now. The slate must be wiped clean, the issues eradicated, the dissenters, purged, burn it all down. Thank you wise ones, for showing me the path, but now I must find my destination.   12. I've read more, and dug deeper into my issue, I see there's no saving it now, I must wipe that slate clean burn it down, as you said, start from scratch. LET THE PURGE BEGIN.
