  1. Hey, I'm about to do my first playthrough ever of Oblivion and I was wondering if some people could appoint me to some of the best mods for Oblivion. I have a strong computer (As a reference point, I can run about 150 mods plus 2k textures and ENBs on Skyrim and still maintain 60 fps) so there's really nothing holding me back. Just list some down below and I'll try them out, just try not to list ones that are glitchy, I want to play through the game without issues. Oh, and I have all the DLCs. Thanks!
  2. I've been re-modding my skyrim so that it's exactly like Gophers current game. I have everything worked out well except for the fact that he's using Seasons of Skyrim ENB. I've looked at the ENB and I like it so much that I want to download it. The issue is, I've downloaded an ENB before and I've tried looking up comprehensive videos on how to do this using ENB series and stuff, but I just do not understand it. If anyone could take some time out of their day to maybe help me understand it more or go through it with me, it'd be a tremendous help. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Edit: Just thought I'd include a link to the Seasons of Skyrim that I'm going off of, I know it won't look the same as in the video considering it's a cinematic, but I just want my game to look nice while i'm playing it I guess. If you skip to 3:22, this is how I'd like my game to look while playing if possible.
  3. I think you should stick with those big armor compilations - Immersive Armors, Omegared's Armor Compilation, things like that. Also, I believe there's a utility that distributes things from mods into the world. I'll get back to you if I find it. I found it! Lootification distributes the items from mods into the world, both normal and enchanted. If you check out the Requirements button on the mod page, you can see some custom xml files. I hope that helps. I'm gonna give it a try when I have a chance and i'll let you know how it works for me, thankfully after fishing around on the page I found some pretty cool weapon/armor compilations I didn't have yet that i'll be trying out too, namely crafting 300.
  4. I just made these changes now and man is it better, thanks a lot dude.
  5. Thanks a lot dude, I'll try some more of this tomorrow. Hey, sorry to respond to late, I've been quite busy with exams. I tried that camera mod but it didn't change very much so I'm pretty confused with it. Anyways, I added whatever mods you had that I didn't but I'm still not getting the game i'm looking for.. I think the biggest issue is just the graphics problem and the fact that some mods make the game not feel genuine enough (I want the game to feel like as though the mods were always there as opposed to buggy/unrealistic for the game itself) Not sure what advice you can offer me but yeah still facing around the same issues as last week. I find that a lot of my armor mods tend to be rather unimmersive in the ways you aquire them, it also seems that most of them only I can obtain. I have a few armor compilations that give tons of new armor to enemies, which I like a lot. I think my biggest issue with it is I'm finding it hard to make my skyrim game feel "genuine". As for the customizable Camera, I'm going to try that right now and see if I like it. Thank you for the advice. :)

  7. I find it funny, we use a lot of the same mods. I'm going to fiddle around with the player headtracking seeing as I play 100% in third person, not sure if you have any other great third person enhancers you'd suggest for me. Right now I'm using Ihud but I was going to ask you, I've noticed that my game seems to be VERY delayed in telling me the status of my stamina and health (if I take damage, the health bar stays in the same spot for a long time). I'm going to search to see if I can find anything to serve as a remedy for that issue but if you know of anything, let me know. I downloaded all of the mods you suggested for me that I didn't already have and I toned down my Skyrim's shading and filtering so it'd run a bit smoother, but I'd still like to find some nice enhancements for my game to make it look better, or even "Different" in terms of look and atmosphere. When you have the time let me know if you have any ideas, don't want to bombard you with my nerdy garbage. XD
  8. Thanks a bunch for the list, I'm looking for gameplay that's more immersive (Hardcore survival type of stuff, attention to detail). I usually play without my HuD in order to have a more immersive game.
  9. Hello, I am making this thread because I am looking for a bunch of people to help me create a skyrim game best suited for my computer. I have been modding on my own, and honestly my game is constantly changing in annoying ways. Sometimes the graphics look good, sometimes the graphics look bad. Sometimes the combat is balanced, other times it is not. Sometimes it runs well, other times it runs like s#*!. I am going to list my computer specs and delete all my mods to begin the process of restarting my game, and the main aim of this mod is to get a good library of mods together to make a good looking, fresh, fun, balanced skyrim that runs well. I don't know how much attention this thread will get but hopefully I can get my game to a "utopian" state. Here are my computer specs. -Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce 9800 GT DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Device Type: Full Device Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0614&SUBSYS_0E7919F1&REV_A2 Display Memory: 3043 MB Dedicated Memory: 999 MB Shared Memory: 2043 MB Current Mode: 1920 x 1080 (32 bit) (60Hz) Monitor Name: HP 2311 Series LED Backlit LCD Monitor Monitor Model: HP 2311 Monitor Id: HWP2939 Native Mode: 1920 x 1080(p) (60.000Hz) Output Type: DVI Machine name: ADAM Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600) (9600.winblue_gdr.131030-1505) Language: English (Regional Setting: English)System Manufacturer: 1E658 System Model: 1E658A74 BIOS: BIOS Date: 05/03/11 17:25:20 Ver: 08.00.16 Processor: IntelĀ® Coreā„¢ i5 CPU 750 @ 2.67GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.7GHz Memory: 4096MB RAMAvailable OS Memory: 4088MB RAM Page File: 3971MB used, 2506MB available Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS DirectX Version: DirectX 11DX Setup Parameters: Not found User DPI Setting: Using System DPI System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent) DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled DxDiag Version: 6.03.9600.16384 64bit Unicode If anyone wants to sit down with me and talk this out or just talk out mods, let me know and I'll do so accordingly. Thanks champs.
  10. In my Skyrim game, I am playing a character that uses sword and shield. I'm frustrated however because when I block whilst moving in third person (I play in third person a lot), my dude is just walking with his arms down which just looks plain silly. I have had this issue even before I began modding my game, but I will include a list of my mods that alter in game animations below. If anyone knows of a fix for this I'd be very grateful considering it's very immersion breaking to be walking at an enemy who's swinging his sword at me with both arms down. Mod list: 3rd Person Dual Wield Animation Fix, Fores New Idles in Skyrim: FNIS, The Dance of Death- A killmove Mod, XP32 Maximum Skeleton, YY Anim Replacer- Mystic Knight, Immersive Animations, dual sheath redux, Equipping overhaul Armed to the teeth.
  11. I'm sorry to change the subject but am I the only one that saw hamsters giving each other a high five in the thumbnail of that youtube link? like this ...Um, what? >.>
  12. As far as texture mods go: -Better Dynamic Snow -Clauralux more brighter lights -Crimson Tide blood -Dynavision DOF -Footprints -Imaginator Visual control device -Pure waters for vanilla/dawnguard -Skyrim Project Optimization -Static mesh improvement I only have one mod which adds 15 different followers into the world of skyrim as far as npcs go. I'm not using any mods that add npcs to villages, cities, roads, wilds, or any of the such. I'm not using any mods which adds new spaces to the game (I.E Falskaar) I just spent the whole afternoon re-modding and cleaning all my files by hand so I'm not sure if that's an issue. I hope this information helps and hope to see some kind of resolution soon, It's stupid that every game BUT Skyrim can perform at It's maximum with 0 performance drop.
  13. Hopefully this will help more. 14. I'm sorry for being kind of ignorant, but where could I go to supply that information about my computer? I tried looking around but didn't really find anything. And as for my mods, I don't know how I can supply you with a complete list either. I'm not using any of the overhaul mods like 1k 2k or 4k graphics, so maybe I just have too many mods going on at once?
  15. I've been watching him for a year or two, the issue i'm having is my game is super laggy and I don't know why. I'm trying to figure out why skyrim would be lagging while games like titanfall darksouls 2 and others are running at maximum with 0 issues while skyrim (And I've been using things like boss and wryebash to try to clean mod files and create load orders) are not. I'll take another look at his videos, but i'm at a loss here and I just really want to enjoy skyrim.
  16. IntelĀ® Core i5 CPU [email protected] 2.67GHz Installed memory (RAM): 4.00 gb(Pretty sure it's more but whatever), doesn't say much else unless i'm in the wrong area.
  17. Hello reader, I am creating this thread because I need some help with modding my game. I'm trying to get back into Skyrim now that I have a pretty strong computer. My issue is I have added a pretty good amount of mods, and whereas most other games I play have literally 0 problems running on maximum everything, Skyrim seems to be having pretty hard frame drops and lag overall with the current mods I have on. So, because of this, I want to re-mod my game completely, not so much the gameplay aspect because I'm pretty content with that part of my game. If anyone can appoint me to a good amount of graphic mods that can keep my game running great while looking great, I'd really appreciate it. I have a good idea of how to mod, although i'm not very familiar with ENBs. I know this is a pretty long post but thanks for reading and bearing with me. :)
  18. Thanks a bunch, but why do you say ENBs are bad? they look pretty amazing, can you go in more depth about what they really are? (I'm a total modding noob)
  19. Hello, on Christmas I am going to be getting a very high end custom-built pc. I've been playing skyrim on a pretty low end computer, so I don't really have any experience in modding my game to look amazing. Can anyone suggest how I can begin modding my game's graphics? Bear in mind this computer is going to be pretty high end, I don't know the certain specs it has until I get it from my brother. Let me know of any mods you think are must haves, and if possible include some screenshots :D
