  1. Simple question, I have no idea if it's bad for me to be asking seeing as the original mod page has been taken down, but seeing as I don't know -why- it was taken down, if it was moved or if it will be coming back, I thought I'd ask. I managed to track the UNP "Blessed Body" version down on another site, and I USED to have the original which, if memory serves had both a UNP and CBBE version to it... I was wondering if anyone had the original UNP (pref.) AND CBBE version of the armor mod? That is, if there was a regular UNP / CBBE. I really can't recall all that well. Just hoping to get one of my all time favorite clothing / armor mods back. I really adore the tops from that mod. :c
  2. Wow, I feel stupid. I must have missed that, yeah... I guess I'll see what happens if I get rid of CharGen entirely. And yes, I'm sure the ECE things aren't included in RaceMenu. Even on the RM page it says you can install ECE if you want ALL the features with it. RM didn't integrate all of them, sadly. Thanks though, I'll give this a shot. I guess my skimming things bested me this time. lol
  3. I recently went back to a clean install of Skyrim so that I could redo my (far too many) mods in the proper order, clean them up and everything. After hours of fiddling about with a specific few, I'm at a loss. No amount of reading / troubleshooting / reinstalling is helping me here, and I think I'm just being overwhelmed with what I'm supposed to (and not supposed to) install to get these mods working properly. I use a few mods to extensively edit my characters, but I'm getting confused between reading each page's installation instructions and the likes. I'm trying to use these mods together: RaceMenu - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/29624/? Extended Character Edit - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12951/? CharGen - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36925/? Ethereal Elven Overhaul - http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24273/? RaceMenu doesn't add enough of the options I use a lot, so I go for ECE, which RaceMenu says is compatible if you overwrite ECE with RM. I'm not sure which main files from each mod I'm supposed to download with NMM, and in which order to install them, or which ones I SHOULDN'T need when using any of these mods together. The problem I'm running into while using them all is that the faces of characters ends up looking blocky or really bizarre in the cheek / mouth regions, and selecting nose / mouth types causes some weird mutations for choices to arise. Pointy, overly thin things and the likes. I'm not sure where I'm going wrong here, but I'm desperately looking for help. I just want a very detailed list of sliders that ECE and RaceMenu together offer for my characters and for them to work properly. Any help would be great. (I'll be replying to this sometime tomorrow when I wake up, so any other questions for me will be answered there-- also, yes. I'm using an up to date version of the mods / SKSE-- I'm not new to modding, just hopelessly confused on what I'm doing wrong here...)
  4. Sounds like they certainly have it planned, judging by the mention on the steam workshop page. :) In the meantime, if anyone plans on making this (just in case the other person doesn't go through with adding more detail to theirs) please be my guest. n.n
  5. Does that thing still work? I was looking at that earlier, but it's such an old mod (dating back to 2012) that I worried it would bug out or something by now, with all the DLC and updates Skyrim has had.
  6. You're quite welcome! n_n I'm glad I could help. I know how it is to search desperately for mods and being unable to find / remember them. xD Happy modding / gaming to you, friend. :)
  7. So, I've been lusting after a long dread hairstyle for females ever since seeing the custom hair that the creator of "Claymora, the Orsimer Princess" made. I'll be attaching some pics below of what I'm asking for, wondering if anyone is able to do this or something similar... I adore the headdress from Apachii Skyhair-- http://i1.minus.com/ibfSW7CqeZr0nG.jpg <<< #'s 28-30 are the headdress pictures. ... However, the hairstyle is really short. Accompanied by longer dreads makes a world of difference in making this hairstyle truly beautiful, as pictured below: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/Images/257721/? Another picture of a long dread hairstyle I like...: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26689/? All those images should provide a very clear idea of what I have in mind. If anyone is able, please please pleeeease let me know if you are. I would absolutely love having a hairstyle with that headdress combined with longer dreads. As for the feather colors on the headdress... I'm not sure if it's possible, but recolorable feathers with the hair color might be nice, or just an assortment of possible colors, perhaps. :) I've recently begun tinkering with recoloring certain mods, so maybe if the file is simple enough to edit, I could recolor the feathers myself... Regardless, I hope someone can accommodate my request. If you can, thank you so very much! :D
  8. You could try this mod-- http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36047/? It allows you to take control of any NPC. After that, you can use the console command "showracemenu" and change how they look. :)
  9. I'm already using Enhanced Lights and FX at the moment. I've also used Realistic Lighting Overhaul. It isn't something that's meant to be fixed (at least, in my opinion) so much as I feel it'd be best to be interactive. :) Also, as a side note... If torches could burn spider web barricades that'd be pretty cool too. I usually only carry a bow on me, and it never made sense (even though it works in game) that a bow could magically shred a hole large enough to walk through through the web. xD
  10. So, I've searched high and low for a mod that does what I'm about to suggest, but found no trace. That said, I do apologize if I missed it anywhere and would be grateful if anyone who knows of one could link it to me. Thanks! :) I can't help but notice that while holding a torch, you're able to lower it, as if you were going to light something... That's just it. You can't light anything. Unlit candles and braziers are useless, just sitting around, unable to be lit by a torch, even if the brazier looks as though it still has embers and enough fire source to be relit and made useful again. If it's within anyone's modding ability, I think it would make an amazing mod, especially for dungeon exploring. Imagine it; You're in a super dark room, but there are some unlit light sources around... Equip your torch and walk over to the light sources, lighting each one until the room is fully lit; without you having to carry around the torch the entire time you're exploring the room. I dunno, it's just a thought. I guess it would only really matter to those of us who have mods that make the lighting realistic, thus making dungeons and such quite dark... but I still think it'd be an awesome idea, and help bring about a bit more immersion and realism. :) Thanks for reading!
  11. I was kinda hoping for a standalone, however I may give this one a try! Only thing I'm a tad worried about with this is the clutter of the other mounts. I only have an interest in the boars, and I'm not sure how many of these creatures will be roaming about with this mod. I suppose I'll have to test it to see. :P Thanks!
  12. My sincerest apologies if this has already been done or suggested. I searched around for quite a while, but found nothing to suggest that either of those are the case. After playing around with the Dragonborn DLC, (yes, I know I'm rather late on getting to it...) I couldn't help but find myself wishing there were a mod that made Bristlebacks available to you to ride. I've even thought of a lore friendly, quest included way to make this happen, if any modder were to take an interest. Due to the fact that Bristlbacks are much too small for the dragonborn to ride, I imagined it wouldn't be lore-breaking to include a quest somewhat attached to the (possible spoiler to misc quests ahead:) In any case, I assumed it might not be -too- difficult to implement, considering the bristlebacks are fully animated (unlike the many sabre cat mount mods, where the animation is all sorts of messed up) and it would be a simple matter of resizing. Then again, I have no idea what it takes to mod, so I could be completely wrong. I doubt this will get much attention, considering how late I am on getting so deeply into Skyrim, and that many modders seem to be inactive these days; but I figured I'd post this here just in case anyone finds an interest in taking this mod request on! Thanks so much for reading!
  13. I see! I honestly didn't know -what- to think about how that sort of thing works. xD As I said, I'm no modder, so I wasn't sure if it was just something I would have to overlook or not. It would be nice if we could choose which race to be recognized as, or if most mods made it so that they entered a custom line of text where each NPC refers to you as whatever race you are. Unfortunately, I would probably still feel as though something were "broken" for me, when I have to read things through subtitles, but not hear the voices through the game itself. Ah well, thanks for the answer! Guess I'll just have to stick with my imagination if I end up using any custom races. xP
  14. Still looking for something like this that doesn't change the other in game fire colors, finding nothing. Is there really no mod like this? I would try it myself, but I've never modded a bit in my life. I wouldn't know where to start. o.O
  15. Okay, this may or may not be a stupid question, but it's been on my mind for a while and despite my best efforts, I can't find an answer anywhere! Custom races. I've never used any, mainly because I'm so reserved on how the NPCs are going to react to my character. I'm assuming that during the mod creation, the creator of said mod(s) must choose which race is the default for an NPC recognizing you as such? For example, if I played a custom "snow elf" race, the modder could choose to make NPC's recognize you as a high elf, or other type of elf. Or if I played a specially modified Khajit based race, the NPC's would react to you as a Khajit. I've looked in the description of a few mod races I might be interested in, but I never see mention of a thing like this. (Probably because I'm the only idiot who cares xD) I was just wondering, from anyone who uses any kind of custom races, how do the NPCs react to you? One easy way, I imagine, is to simply try out the race and see what Hadvar has to say about you as a prisoner, but I didn't want to go downloading a bunch of races and testing that out just to find out that everything would see me as a nord by default or something. I already have a nord character, so I'm kind of looking to avoid any race that is seen as a nord. It may not be a huge difference in gameplay, but it's just fun to see how the NPCs react to different races, and all I've ever played so far is a nord or a redguard. Anywho, if anyone has any experience / knowhow on this matter, please let me know! Sorry for the stupid question. n_n;
  16. I was thinking the same thing. xD So many mods, but I've looked -everywhere- and can't find something that works. There's a few (very few) that change the colors of the fire, however it also changes all other fire in the game. i.e.: Torches, dragons breath, other casters magic, etc... I can deal with other casters having the same (though I prefer they didn't), but I don't want every torch and candle (etc) to be the same color as my spell fire.
  17. Is one month's time considered necro-posting? I hope not. I've been looking all over for a mod just like this, and can't find anything that doesn't change the color of ALL fire. It'd be great to find a blue fire spell mod somewhere, and the other colors listed above. Anyone know of any that ONLY affects spells, and not torches and the likes? I'm really sorry if this is "necro-posting"... didn't think a month really counted as that.
  18. To my knowledge there is no console command nor mod that does exactly what you ask. Have you tried Ethereal Elven OverHaul ? EDIT: there is one command you may be able to use within Console "setplayerrace highelfrace" but using this command may or may not cause issues later on. Yeah, unfortunately I have tried that, but with the mods that I have, it's incompatible with some. I may just have to ditch the ones I have and go for that one. I use the prettyface mod that only works with non-elven characters, and I really like the effect it gives me. I guess I'll just have to deal with being a nord that looks like an elf. xD Thanks anyway, though. :P
  19. I really hope this is in the right section, if not, I'm really sorry. Before reading, know that this is NOT a mod request, just a question. The only way I've managed to make a decent looking elf character is to... well. Make her not-elf, just elf like appearances (mainly being the ears). I'm fine with this, however what would really be great is if there was a console command anyone knew that could possibly make it so all NPC's recognize my character as a high elf, instead of a nord. (Or even better, do that + allow me the high elf stats and skill you get at character creation?) Either through console or an existing mod I seemingly can't seem to find (if there even is one) to accomplish this? I can live without the stats of a high elf, I suppose, but it would be really awesome if at the very least NPC's would recognize me as a high elf without me actually having to BE one. Thanks in advance for anyone who tries to help me out here, and again, very sorry if this is in the wrong place! First time posting here on the forums. n.n;
