Did you refresh the website/browser? like hitting the refresh button, pushing F5, or doing hold ctrl and press F5? I get this issue once in a while. After I did refresh my browser once, this issue got resolved.

What about your computer cooling system? is it sufficient enough to maintain acceptable temperature for your GPU/CPU/computer while playing heavily modded skyrim? This is just a hearsay... but I heard from someone that they solved this random freezing problem by upgrading their cooling system or placing a desktop fan directing to the GPU/CPU (remove the cover of computer and exposing the interior, of course). I can't find the reference or link of this solution. sorry.

You cannot get Skyrim(Oldrim) in steam anymore. Better get that Skyrim Special Edition (SSE). As for the mods, there should be plenty of mods available in SSE. No need to go Oldrim mods unless you really want them. Most Oldrim mods should be compatible to SSE unless the mod author stated otherwise. In my opinion, all Oldrim armors and textures mods should be compatible to SSE (if you're using manual install).

usually each game like GTA V should contain some kind of info like recommended PC specs (RAM 4GB, GPU 1GB, and etc etc). Just buy gaming desktop or gaming laptop with high-end/powerful specs (like RAM:16GB, GPU:4-6GB,and etc etc etc) that exceed the recommended PC specs of desired games especially if you're going to mod it.

Can you confirm if you can browse those mod pages on your other computers/phones/tablets? If no issues, probably your computer with freezing problem is very slow. If they have same issues, your internet connection is probably slow/weak.
