Sorry for bringing back an old thread but it saves me from creating yet another of the same. In the past few weeks I've been experiencing problems when clicking on SKSE to launch Skyrim, it immediately crashes to desktop stating, "skyrim has stopped working". If I click on SKSE to launch Skyrim a second time there's never a problem even during the game. It only happens the very first time you launch SKSE. I haven't installed any new mods since I started playing Skyrim in August, the mods that I start with are the mods I'm currently using. I use BOSS for the load order and have my load order below. Before this I've never crashed any game with my computer! Any help would be appreciated! Thanks, Systemlord.

Serious bump. Everybodys having problems!

Hello everyone. I'm having an issue with very weak enchantments (8%-15%) even though my enchantment skill is 100 and I have every single perk. I would like to be able to enchant armor more than 8%, I've found items in Skyrim the have bows, blades, axes doing 35% on some gauntlets. I've found a Daedric shield with 70% fire resistance, with the enchantment skilI maxed and perk maxed out I expected to be able to enchant weapon and armor at least as high as the loot I've found in Skyrim! I'm at level 77 and the size of the soul gems doesn't seem to matter at all, same enchantment strength regardless of soul gem used. What the problem hear? Much appreciated!

Remember I'm using NMG, SKSE and BOSS for my load order. Alright, when I typed "player.moveto (space) 030177DD the game goes into the mist loading screen and shows my level 71 with the progress bar, task manager shows Skyrim not responding. So in others words it didn't work. On the other hand there is a chest under a tree with lots of skeletons scattered around it. The fact that I never had the marker indicating where Varona is tells me it's because Varona isn't anywhere to be found otherwise there would be a marker and since there isn't, there's also no Varona. I'm NOT going to spend another 6 hours looking for her so whatever you suggest next don't ask me to look for her please. HELP! Devs are getting lazy these days and then they give up on those that spend money on their games, I'm shocked that this would be allowed to happen on a game console!! Glad I have a PC, at least I can attempt to fix it.

I have quite a unique problem with the quest "Reluctant Steward", finding Varona's dead body in that I can't resolve. There is no marker for Varona's dead body and I have searched for several hours, everyone just keeps saying that Varona left for Raven Rock a little while ago. If you suggest using the console can this brick my game as I have over 200 hours on it? mods have never caused a problem and I never had any CTD in that 200+ hours! I've never used the command console before so go easy on me please, keep it simple. I also have an issue only in Solstheim just about everywhere sometimes a fully animated lifeless dragon spawns and then falls out of the sky (20ft). I don't really care about the lifeless dragon I just want to continue with the rest of the quests in Solstheim! I appreciate your help! :smile: Latest version of SKSE Been using BOSS Mods & Textures

I originally had it in my modded Skyrim, lately it seems like there is no more frogspawn respawning in the lilypads. it's been a while since seen any and haven't add any other mods since day one! Mods and Textures plus mod load order by BOSS

What happened to the frogspawn in Skyrim?

I'm having problems understanding why I have to reassign my two handed sword to key #1 after choosing it as my favorite and then to group 1 (key #1), then I having problems assigning my bow & arrows to key #2. I also would like to know how to switch back to my sword and have both bow & arrow removed from my back in-game. Can you help me out here so I don't ever have to keep reassigning these keys every time I play Skyrim? Much appreciated! Regards, Systemlord.

I'm currently using Skyrim Flora Overhaul, Expanded Diversity, Lush Grass without Lush Trees, Water Plants.esp. I would like to add AOF HD Tree LODs 2k and Hybrids Hires Plant and Herb Retexture to my modded Skyrim. Will these mods play nice together? Much appreciated! Regards,Systemlord.

I ran into some serious issues, so I retrieved a backup copy of my Skyrim Data Folder. I installed from a clean slate and installed every single mod. I installed TreesHD last just like the instructions say, but the ugly bright green branches were still there! On another note I'm trying to install the Ultimate Follower Overhaul, not covered in the video is a .bsa, .esp (which go into Data) and in another folder SEQ. Do you know what I'm supposed to do with the SEQ file? Do you know exactly where the these four files (Immersive Armor mod) should go? Much appreciated! Regards, Systemlord.

I uninstalled SFO 1.81 via NMM and Trees HD via NMM as well, which one to install first using manual installation only for both? Downloading SFO 1.79e now, thank you!

Don't I need to delete the TreesHD that's in the textures folder before installing TreesHD again? Any reason why I shouldn't use SFO v1.80?

I'm so confused, how do I undo the vanilla overwrites or do I need to bother with removing the textures you just gave me? I did install only the textures and not the meshes. I do not understand that Neovalen's SR Guide, just tell me what to do.

I did exactly as you said, now I have HD trees, leaves and branches! :smile: Only one issue with the variation trees, some of the huge fat trees have neon bright green branches instead of blending in with the leaves. I only installed the two texture folders and no meshes! The branches look more neon bright green in-game, so the picture is making it look more subtle. I have noticed that since I installed "Trees HD Skyrim Variation" (with NMM) my tree stumps look awesome, the leaves and branches look very soft even when somewhat close. When I deactivated "Trees HD Skyrim Variation" I got the leaves and branches detail back, but once I reactivated "Trees HD Skyrim Variation" I lost detail in the leaves and branches again. What's with that? Is there a way to increase the tree leaves and branches detail?

Now that I can call myself a somewhat successful Skyrim modder I have come across something I didn't see coming. I just installed the first of the Skyrim HD - 2K Textures mods and when I tried to activate the second Skyrim HD - 2K Textures it asks, Yes or No and why? Some of the mods I installed were downloaded and installed manually, shouldn't they show up in NMM? They show up in my Skyrim launcher though. Do I have to install/activate the mods in a specific order? Also from list below can somebody show me the correct mod order? Not sure if I would lose all my mods (do I have to redownload mods again? if I were to uninstall NMM 44.13 and install the new version 44.15, so do I update over the existing version or uninstall older version before attempting to install the new version? Thank you, Systemlord.

Which ENB mod is most popular? I'm having a hard time coming to a decision, that all look the same! What are you personal impressions about the ENB Visual Immersion mod? This one calls to me most, will the indoors and dungeons look just as good as the outdoors?

I uninstalled Skyrim and NMM yesterday, then reinstalled Skyrim and NMM. Only thing I left untouched was my saved games and "iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=6" under [Grass]. So just to clarify I can install one ENB mod at a time and also a few mods via Nexus Mod Manager, correct? I'm not sure which ENB mod I will run, but I know I'll be running the Realistic Lighting Overhaul, Skyrim Flora Overhaul. I think I going to install SKSE for the Skyrim UI, then I'll install one ENB mod perhaps. I feel that I'm up to it because all I have learned in the past few days. Can someone recommend the best ENB mod for overall realism? I will most likely use the SKSE just for the SkyUI and Nexus Mod Manager with a few mods. My copy of Skyrim is retail, I'm not ready to abandon physical media just yet. Are the unofficial Skyrim patches work alright with NMM? Why don't you use the SkyUI mod? Can I use SKSE alongside either ENB or NMM? What is your opinion about using ENB mods, are they worth it if visuals are important to you or can they be problematic at times? Do you know how I might verify whether or not I'm using the latest version (1.9) of Skyrim, is there some folder that might contain this info?
