I would completely remove it to be on the safe side.
I forgot to mention (because it seems so long ago) that my enb issue might have been compounded with an update on my graphics card and a Skyrim update... so I'll apologize in advance if this doesn't solve your missing texture issue or wasting your time.

This is a stab in the dark, but do you have an ENB installed?
I had this issue before with the "sometimes" missing textures and I uninstalled the ENB I was using and the problem was solved. I can't remember which ENB it was because I've slept since then, but give that a try.
If you don't use an ENB then disregard my post.

Uninstall Revelations, make a clean save, then reinstall Knights Of The Nine - Revelations.
The quest won't start if the book isn't there and it also won't start if you haven't finished Knights Of The Nine.

I recommend Chase Camera Mod by Woodman1000
It removes the 3rd person camera swing in game.
Without it I get motion sickness.

But what you can try to do first is to disable some of Oblivions standard shadows in the option menu (Self shadow, Shadow on grass, shadow filtering and so on). The game will then not need to work with two pair of "shadows" from two differnt light systems.
I hadn't thought of that  I hated disabling the shadows in the INI... it broke the ambiance of the enb. I will definitely try disabling the shadows in-game instead. Thank-you astrob0y.

I to had the same issue and I was able to resolve this by changing the following shadow settings in the enbseries.ini from "true" to "false".
For example:[EFFECT]EnableShadowBlurring=falseEnableDetailedShadow=falseThis should fix the flickering shadows in the game... it did in mine. -

Oblivion Stutter Remover helped my game a little with lag. If you don't have it you can get it here: http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/23208/?
Also, UESP Wiki offers a guide on tweaking your Oblivion game for better performance http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Tweaking
Make sure you back-up your Oblivion.INI before making any changes.

I've only just recently been watching the events and my heart goes out to the people of the Ukraine and their families abroad. It's a shame Russia is taking advantage of Ukraine's weak government. I hope, like bben says, everyone can work out a peace solution for Ukraine's sake... fingers crossed.

Great tutorial, Dazaster... thank-you for sharing it to the community and a second-class GIMP user.

Thank-you for this wonderful tutorial and link to this awesome GIMP plugin.

I sent you a PM with the links.
I hope they work out for you, and happy modding. :)

I tried GIMP 2.8 for a day and didn't like it. Right now I'm using 2.6 and it works like a charm without any issues. Would you consider going to an older version of GIMP?

I get the random screenshot numbering when I have an ENB installed. Also if you have FRAPS or Bandicam running you will have random numbered screenshots also.

I don't know if this will help you any. It's been awhile since I did anything with the Creation Kit and I don't have much experience with landscaping, but I found this thread in the forums http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/577379-texturing-problem-in-creation-kit/
The last post in the thread might help.
Good luck. :)

I sometimes have issues with equipping and unequipping custom armours that result in game crashing, especially armours that I've monkeyed around with. ;)
It's possible that a mod might have modified the vanilla armours and your games doesn't like it... don't know.
What I usually do in this situation is start disabling mods to narrow down the culprit if any. The standard process of elimination.

You might want to uncheck Let There Be Darkness. esp's. From the name of it it's what's making your game night all the time.
Please help with re-colouring!
in Skyrim LE

Open the texture file you want to modify in GIMP.
Under Colors choose Hue-Saturation, in the hue-saturation window under Select Primary Color to Adjust, select Blue. Then lower the saturation to -100. This should turn the blue color to grey without effecting the rest of the texture.
If you want it grey/black then lower the Lightness also.
Hope this helps.
