  1. Yeah me too, I just hope that someone picks it up and makes a mod for it. As I said, I am only good at photoshop.
  2. Well, Skyrim is a universe, and batman requires no necessarily universe breaking rules to work. Whose to say an imperial doesn't decide to fight crime using the form of a bat? Obviously you don't have modern batman, you have mediavel batman: like this pic I found: http://fc00.deviantart.net/fs47/f/2009/211/e/c/Medieval_Fantasy_Batman_by_chriss2d.jpg
  3. Ok, so I have just done this harley quinn jester outfit texture, http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3866 I hope it will inspire someone to make a more full and similarly lore friendly batman pack or batman quest mod. Batman would easily work in Skyrim universe because he has previously existed in the pirate era: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Batman:_Leatherwing I think making him a knight would be cool, maybe if the zelda guy's hookshot mod kicks off, batman could even have a grapple (with permission). I would do this myself, but I have terrible terrible skills in anything BUT photoshop. I'd happily do texture files for such a mod, but really, this Harley Quinn outfit is the best I can achieve having learnt texturing only recently. Anyway, anyone who does make a batman mod is free to use this texture without asking permission, provided the mod is lore friendly and doesn't contain nudity or revealing clothes that don't fit the characters style. Cheers. Hope you like and hope someone picks this up. http://static.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/images/3866-1-1324084504.jpg Suggestions from Dodes15, on 17 December 2011 - 06:05 AM, said:
  4. They should have a chance to die, I don't think they should die always\. I think they should have a chance to die, a chance to wake up and a chance to do neither.
  5. I was talking to my friend about historical circumstances where people would dual wield. He mentioned there was one technique where you have a short blade and a long blade (forgot the names). He said the short blade was for quick stab attacks, where as the long blade was for parry and heavy attacks. Now this could work easily with the following configuration. Right Hand: The stabby weapon (any 1h weapon for consistancies sake) Left Hand: The parry/heavy weapon RH Press = Quick Stab attack RH Hold = Power Lunge (slower, but still quick) LH Press/Hold = Parry with LH Sword LH+RH Press = Pummel (similar to shield bash) LH+RH Hold = Power attack with parry sword The right hand would be stanced low, ready to stab, while the left hand would be raised ready to block. Thoughts? I just thought it was cool that there was a real world application for duel wield, and it was to get openings, without sacrificing all your defense. So this above map SHOULDN't require any new scripting, I hope after CK, but it's mostly an accurate representation of the practical use of duel wield. Instead of just the max hit point no defense that is in vanilla. Keep in mind, hit points would be lower, because you can't power duel wield attack, only heavy and quick attacks as you can see. Thoughts? THIS IS A SUGGESTION TO HELP MODDERS WHO MIGHT WANT TO REVAMP DUEL WIELD.
  6. You can bash with it (like the shield bash).
  7. I don't normally, but I feel like having a bit of a *censored* about the waste of talent that goes into some mods. I realize a lot of people seem to like beauty mods, where the characters are heavily modified to look flawless or appealing in certain ways that are impractical or even mysoginistic. I respect modders rights to make whatever the law allows them to make, im not here to be a dictator. But I'm just wondering if people get a bit sad when they see a clearly skilled modder invest so much time into a mod that turns skyrim into something more akin to second life, then say a cohesive world of nirn. In other words, modders who invest a lot of effort into mods which don't at all "fit" the skyrim universe with very little attemps to work within the bounds of lore. I saw a lightsaber mod, but that was cool, because the modder made them lore friendly, which is awesome. But then you see things like beauty mods where its all about making females look hot, and *ergh* it's such a waste of talent. THoughts?
  8. More suggestions for crime: 1. Bodies get disposed of after one day once a guard has discovered a body (possibly bodies respawned into an area near the barracks like a makeshift morgue, if possible). 2. NPC's will alert guards to dead bodies. 3. NPC's have a wider field of view, so they can actually see dead bodies 2m away from them. They can also spot sneaks easier. 4. If a body is in viewing distance, an NPC will ALWAYS check it - this won't get problematic once a guard sees it, because after 1 day the body will be gone. 5. Guards will question you more about deaths (100% of the time if you walk past a dead body near a guard, a guard WILL ask you about it (already in the game, but rare). 6. Bribe guards for non-capital offenses. 7. If 2 or more innocents are killed, the town goes crazy, running indoors and such. Some men team up with the guards to hunt a killer, but if no one witnesses you, they could still be alerted if you are trying to get out of the city (like a lock down). 8. The above situation requires cooldown, so you must pretend to be an innocent while it all cools over. 9. Other non-essential NPC's can commit crimes, and will loot dead bodies if no guards are around. 10. Looting a dead body is a capital offense infront of a guard. 11. Sneaking in plane sight will automatically make an NPC FOLLOW you. You MUST casually walk out of sight before sneaking. I would really love these changes when the CK comes out, as this will make crime characters more fun.

  10. I actually think the whole crime system needs an overhaul too.
  11. Maybe he feels guilty that he was working using other people's work to further his own modding notoriety? Public license or not? He shouldn't feel bad if that is the case. I had a similar problem once when I got this immidiate fear that all my drawing skill was deriverative because I copied my friends drawings when I was 8. Nonsensical, but it made me start wiping drawings from my hard drive and such. Irrational fear of doing something unethical can cause these sorts of things. Hope that isn't the case because he certainly has no logical reason to feel bad, particularly if they were public license. Even if they were not, there are arguments supporting the idea that using other people's work without permission is not unethical in this day and age. Hope nothings wrong ): I was looking forward to using those mods too, ah well.
  12. Ok, so you think it could be done though? When the CK comes out?
  13. Ok, so if I murder someone, then pay a fine for said murder, I should be getting asked by guards what happened to a body, if said guard FINED me for the murder days before! Really, the body should be taken away within a day if guards know about a body. Secondly, guards asking about dead bodies need to appear MORE often, when there is a body lying in the street. Currently bodies will too easily be ignored by guards. Also guards should investigate bodies where other NPC's discover them. Simply fixed, have the guards attention radius wider, so they don't casually stride past a body 1m away, ensure they ALWAYS check out the body and ask people if they know anything, After a day, clear the body from the street and spawn it in the local guard barracks mortuary type area.
  14. You need to add more grit to the sword and shield, it should fit the world of skyrim.
  15. remember, anyone who is going to do this: I will do a trailer for you :D
  16. I think they should be slightly bigger then normal rabbits, and yeh in herds. I don't kow much about the legend, apart from Frasiers dad had one in that TV show frasier./
  17. Yeah I expect the CK will make this happen, just giving people the idea.
  18. Yeh prolly, but that would require voice acting and such. Depends on the modder. Be awesome though.
  19. All right, I'm thinking it spawns in one of those outside-caves with bones where there's usually an ice troll or something, and maybe spawn half a dozen soldiers nearby for the purpose of getting slaughtered. Yes that is perfect, I would download this and make a trailer for it and promote it. Sadly I don't have modding skills, only just did my first ever texture ):
