  1. The idea comes from the old mod "Amanda companion" https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26318/? Making it so you are not the only survivor. I know that the Nora or Nate companion mods would be better suited for this than some other character, but when using alternate start mods it just wouldn't seem right (and also are incompatible). Plus they don't start with you at Vault 111 and that was the whole idea for the request. I remember there was a mod that added two companions that woke up with you in the vault (some dude and another guy that was something like "simple bob" and was rather slow), but that mod seems to be gone forever or I'm not able to find it. In the end Amanda is not that bad, but is not really immersive since she lacks voice lines, is found in front of an occupied and closed pod and is a bit glitchy (cant talk to her just upon start, it takes a little while). So I request here if someone would like to make a new companion or fix Amanda, to make her presence be more interesting and make sense (right now she only says "I cant believe I'm alive" and thats it then its generic follow/stay/fight voicelines), perhaps even add a custom voice or a quest (but i doubt its needed), or just simply slap Nora's voicelines in her maybe even with full support of dialogues through the game (like Nora spouse mod but I believe that would be more complex, unless you like a challenge?).

It is possible, FNV has a modder that has made it from scratch! https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/65980 But, all Pipboys 2000s from either the link bloxyman provided above, or the FNV mod I just posted, and even the FO76 official ingame pipboy have a problem All those designs are HALF complete. Fallout 76's pipboy 2000 is missing the left half! This one https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/images/97827 is missing the right half! If we are doing a request we are doing it well. So the request should be to have the pipboy also have the missing half so it is exactly as its supposed to be.
  3. I have found that all that is marked as light gets unmarked after you restart vortex (close it and open it again. inevitable if you want to shut down your pc duh)
  4. I installed Vortex TODAY. I reinstalled Fallout 4 YESTERDAY. I tracked all the mods I wanted, and made a list. Except for retextures and such I would end up with 300 esps give or take, most of them are guns. So I said to myself... "damn it, I have to learn how to make a merged patch then". But then I see that feather icon and say, what the hell is that about? and I find this post here. So I ask the same as the guy above me... does this mean I don't have to do mega merges? is this true? I can't believe it... Should I fix conflicts with Fo4edit (I should learn that too) as well? just to be sure
