Have you tried checking the id of the perk in FNV edit? It might be different from the one posted there.

Apparently it was grenade hotkey, after removing the mod it stopped crashing after fast traveling. Still doesnt explains why it would crash after fast travel and only outdoors.

Have you tried using game companion fake full screen mod?

Your save is probably corrupted, it has happened to me once, simply try to load another save. Its possible that you might loose a lot of content, since most of the time when one save is corrupted others are too.

So, this happens even in dlc places where i have no mods affecting it, could it be possible it is because of a custom hairstyle or armor? Edit: I had noticed there are occasions where it will load and i will be able to turn around and walk a bit before it crashes, what could be the cause of this?

If im correct, those triangles mean a missing mesh, not a missing texture, when a texture is missing the object will just grab textures from anything nearby or just flash red and orange.

I have the exact same issue. Happens that Dead money is incredibly buggy, i never completed it because how buggy it was and how annoying those bugs where.

Forgot to say that i was going to test some files too, apparently i was using just too many mods, got rid of about half of them. Still experiencing some crashing issues, even in DLC places, just that much less often. Apparently there's no difference other than more lag when not using stutter remover.

Tried all that with no results save disabling stutter remover, going to test it without using it and see if it works.

Anyone can help, i cant even bring up the pipboy sometimes.

Some computers just cant handle certain texture packs, make sure to be using f4gb and lower your settings to see if it helps. Also, fix your load order.

I have experienced the same problem, but it happen all of a sudden without installing anything. I still haven't found a solution yet and just started to use nexus mod manager.

Have you checked your ini. file to see if it has sound disabled?

Remove the strip entrance mod and see if that works.

Does it happens with every companion or just modded companions? Also, are you using ultra settings or HD armor retextures? Are the armors you are changing modded?

It must be a completely different issue, as i have not a single mod that you have. :confused:

Get rid of some mods, keep only the ones you can live with. The more you add to your game the worst is going to get.

Nexus mod manage suddenly started crashing immediately on start up, without an apparent reason, re installing didn't fixed it at all. I have no antivirus blocking it or anything, any help?

Oh nope, it still crashes, just without companions is less often, but still does it. Im hitting myself against the wall, seems like this will never be solved.. Edit: Apparently i crash only after fast traveling a few times, every time i fast travel will increase the chances of crashing. 1FT/0% 2FT/25 3FT/50 4FT/100/90%

Is the game lagging while it happens? and have you installed any animations? iam having a similar issue while moving + reloading lever action because of an animation replacement.

Im not completely sure because im too lazy to test it, but yes, they are modded companions, this issue does not happens with any vanilla companions. I was using proxima, the robo scorpion transforming cyber dog mod, and desmond companion mod.

Ok, i finally got it working! I seriously don't know why i didn't realized it before.. It was a companion that was crashing my game on fast traveling, i left all but a vanilla companion waiting, and i haven't experienced any crashing issues since then. Still doesn't explains why would they crash my game to begin with, or why only on loading exteriors and never in interiors.

Nope, still crashing, specially after saving (Quick save, CASM or Hard save, and auto, but its disabled)

If it crashes always while zooming into freeside, its because either a mod conflict, or a save is corrupt. Check in FNVedit for all the mods that alter freeside, and take them off to see if that solves the problem. As for your other problem, i have it too, but much worse, so i cant help with that :/
