HI everyone. I was looking at pics for mage robe mods on the Nexus and found some that I really like, but one thing has always bothered me about them. The way that the hood sort of tilts to the side, half-covering someone's face drives me crazy. I'd love to have a mod that makes the hoods face forward, but not completely cover the face when pulled down. Just a small fix but I think it would look alot better. :) Tracy

LE Bury the Dead - A Request to Further Develop an Abandoned Mod
autumnsky38 replied to VascoAH's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Wow Vasco, that's a really well-written and lovingly described request. I'm in total agreement with you. I hate it when someone I've come to care about in-game dies and then you either have to leave them there, or use the console to "disable" their body----then it's like they've never lived at all. I don't know how to mod yet, but I wiil cross my fingers that some wonderful modder will take up this old mod and really bring it to life with your suggestions. :) PS Thanks for your service to our country, Vasco. My husband was in the Air Force for many years and my sister's husband is in Afghanistan as we speak. I have alot of respect for you guys and the respect you obviously feel for one another is beautiful and touching. :) Tracy -
Hi guys. Hope you don't mind a girl joining in, but I couldn't resist. I feel the same way that you all do, except about the husbands of course. I wish that Bethesda had made the whole marriage thing alot more: romantic, interesting, fun, realistic, w/ more choices of clothing, places to live, places to go together, which you really can't do unless he or she has the follower option. I think that maybe more mods WILL be made for you guys as far as the wives go and then maybe the modders will think, "Hey I've made a female version of a spouse mod, maybe I can do a male one now too." And then we'll have what we want as well. ;) Here's to geneous modders and you guys w/ some really good ideas. :) Tracy

I'd love to jump on your bandwagon and add that I've never liked horns in any of the helmets in the game, but I do love how the Stallhrim armor looks and I think a full helmet would make it look even more kick a---. :) Great idea! Tracy

LE Some Mod Ideas for Dragonborn DLC
autumnsky38 replied to autumnsky38's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
that's no problem, Shadowjin. I know the game just came out on the 5th so I'm not in a hurry. I am excited though to actually have something so different to play in Skyrim. Dawnguard was okay and I did love the castle as well as the Soul Cairn, but otherwise I can't say I really "loved" that DLC. This one though takes me back to Morrowind days and that is so much fun. It'll be neat to see what kinds of mods come out as everone starts playing it. PS I'll be interested to see your Morag Tong armor mods btw.....I was looking at them last night after I killed some of those guys and they could definitely be better. Plus, I don't know about you, but I hate the helmet. It looks like just the chitin helmet with a new color, and those goggle/eye looking things on the front creep me out. lol It'll be interesting to see what you come up with in your armor and I'll be peeking here on the Nexus from time to time to check it out. PPS Just noticed your mention of images. Where can I find those? Thanks. Tracy -
LE Re-doing the Thirsk Mead Hall Quests
autumnsky38 replied to autumnsky38's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Hi Shadowjin. lol Well I had to laugh at your reaction to the little guys because for some reason, ever since Bloodmoon w/ Morrowind, they've scared me to death! Something about their little faces and that horrible, creepy cackling they do just freaks me out, and so that's the real reason I'd like to somehow go back and have the Nords hanging out there. :) btw---I did try the console but haven't had any luck. Someone else suggested that since my Nords are dead and I don't have the bodies, maybe I could use their Ref IDs to bring them to me and then somehow restart that quest, but not sure if it'll work. If not, I might have to just live with things the way they are or go back to an earlier save. Guess we'll see what happens. :) Tracy -
Thanks for your help and ideas you guys. The truth is, the little guys freak me out for some reason and I'm a litle scared of therm (yes I know, I'm a wuss! LOL) so that's the main reason I'd rather have my Thirsk full of Nords, even though there ARE plenty of them in Skyrim and Solsteim, including my character. LOL Going to try to revive them but if not, going to let it go. Maybe one night I'll get insomnia and have enough energy to start over from right before the Thirsk Mead Hall part----with me you never know! LOL Take care and thanks again, Tracy

Hi everyone. When I was playing Dragonborn for the first time the other day, I didn't realize that you could either side with the Rieklings who had taken over Thirsk, or help the Nords to get it back. Unfortunately, I assumed that the Riekling part was the only quest option that there was, and now that I've seen the Wiki I know that I could've chosen to help the Nords instead. :( I hate the idea of going all the way back to a VERY early save in order to start again from before I made this choice because I've done so many things and made so much progress, so I was thinking that if someone were insterested in making a mod that allows you to either go back and make a new choice, OR somehow have the Nords alive again and be able to help them retake the mead hall, that would be great. The reason I'm asking btw is because I got some great ideas on how to fix this here on the forum, but neither of them worked in practice, so I'm hoping that maybe a new mod will come along and save my butt. :) Thanks for your time you guys, Tracy
-
Hi you guys. Thanks for the ideas. I tried to let alot of time pass to see if that changed anything, but unfortunately it didn't. Also I went to Bujold's Retreat to see if I might be able to resurrect the dead Nords, but their bodies were gone. :( I've been avoiding going back to an earlier save from before I agreed to help the Rieklings, but when I thnk of losing all of the progress I've made and having to redo all of that stuff, I'm not sure I want to go there. BUT, I'm wondering at this point if that might be my only option. I wish I'd known about the choice between helpilng the Rieklings and retaking the mead hall for the Nords, before I began. I think I just assumed helping those little guys was the only option for that quest, so I went for it. SIGH Oh and btw, I think both the retaking and the quest to help the rieklings DO have quest ids. Now that I mention that, I wonder if it's possible to bring the dead Nords to me by using their ids? Not sure if that's even possible, but it's another idea to toss out there. :) Anyway, thanks again so much for your help. Maybe I'll be able to redo this whole thing, but if not, I guess I've learned my lesson about going too fast and jumping into quests! :( Tracy

Hi everyone. When I was playing Dragonborn the other day I killed the Nords and the Riekling chief. After just looking at the USEP Wiki though, I see that we can retake Thirsk hall for the Nords, and I'm wondering if it's possible at this point to trigger that quest, or am I stuck with my Riekling guys? :) Thanks so much, Tracy

Hi everyone. I've been playing Dragonborn for a few days and love it, but there area few things I'd like to see in the game if anyone is interested in whipping up a few mods. :) No spiders-----I have a wonderful mod for regular Skyrim that makes the spiders into draugrs and skeevers, but in Dragonborn there are some new ones and they're pretty creepy. I'd love to have a mod that either gets rid of them completely or changes them into something else (plus gets rid of cobwebs!) The Morag Tong--I was happy to see them appear in the DLC but realized that we can't actually join them and do quests the way you can in Morrowind. So, I'd love to see a mod that creates a way to join them and has plenty of quests to go along with it! Captain Gjalund Salt-Sage----I have a huge crush on this new captain and would love to have a mod that allows you to marry him and possibly even have him take you with him on the ship (there could be a cabin on board where you and he could live. Also, he'd be able to live with you at Severin Manor and any of your player-owned homes) Thanks so much for reading my posts and considering them.....I'll be crossing my fingers and seeing what appears in the future! :) Tracy

Hi everyone. I've been playing Dragonborn for few days and got to the part at the Skaal village where you need to do a shout. Well, I don't have any dragon souls, but when I go to get one (killing a dragon either on Solstheim or in Skyrim) Miraak's somehow comes by and takes it. Does anyone know how I can get around this so I can use my shout? Thanks so much! Tracy

Hi again Ghosu. Got it to work! Yay! He looks great---thanks for doing that for me. :) :) PS To everyone who might be reading.....I just had a thought. When I marry Alvor, he will probably want to live in one of our houses and have a "store". I'd love for him to stay a blacksmith, but am not sure if there are any mods out there that would do that. If anyone has any ideas I'd appreciate it! Tracy, who for now is happy to be "engaged" to the handsome hunk ;)
-
Hey you guys. Just tried it out and for some reason, Alvor's face is still dirty. Not sure what to do now---do you have any ideas? Thanks so much! Tracy
-
Ghosu----thank you so much! That was nice of you--and incredibly fast too btw! :) Acid Zebra---LOL!! What can I say? All of my years in the Dark Brotherhood must've finally twisted my little brain just enough to get what I want. ;)

Hi everyone. I would love to see Alvor, the smith in Riverwood, cleaned up a bit. He's SO good-looking but really needs a good bath or shower and so if anyone would be interested in making that, I'd really appreciate it! Tracy, who has killed Alvor's wife and disabled his little girl (mwa-ha-ha-ha!) ;)

Hi everyone. I'm hoping someday to find a mod that will let me hook up with a bandit, (and requested one awhile ago on the other part of the forum so maybe I'll get lucky!) but til someone comes out with one, I was wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to change the status of your "relationship" (so to speak) with a bandit so they can become your follower and/or your spouse? It's so weird how there are so many unattractive guys around Skyrim, but for some reason there are several good-looking ones that happen to be bandits! (I guess Bethesda wants me to go all criminal and become a bad girl, so maybe I'll do that once I figure out how! LOL) Thanks for your help everyone! Tracy

Hi Stoaty. Well, yesterday I did talk to Serana, thinking that maybe she still was my follower, and there was a dialog option that said "Come with me", as if I had told her to wait or something. But the weird part is that after I told her to come with me just to see what happened, she said that she couldn't because I already "had someone else and she didn't want to step on anyone's toes". ??? Not sure what's up but if you have any ideas on things I could try to get this working again, I'd really appreciate it! :) Thanks everyone, Tracy

Hi everyone. Well, this is a first. I decided to grab someone to be my follower out of the Dawnguard people I'm serving with, and no matter who I asked they all said that I had somone with me and had to let them go before I could take a new follower on. Well, the weird thing is, I haven't HAD a follower......this time around I've been playing alone and just now am thinking about followers and maybe a new spouse eventually, but right now I"m alone, so I'm totally puzzled as to why it looks to the NPCs that I have a follower already. Has anyone else had this happen and if so, how did you mangage to remove the "invisible" follower? Thanks for your help! Tracy
-
Hi again. I had a few other ideas not Dawnguard-related, so I thought I'd give them their own post. :) I'd love to see: Outfits (regular clothing, armor, everything that's wearable) that look like the male versions even when my female character is wearing them. Some of the guy's outfits look so much better IMO and so I'd like to be able to have my character wear them too. A portable shrine of Talos. While doing all of these quests for the Dawnguard lately, I've contracted vampirisim a lot and have had to either drink a ton of cure disease potions or zoom back to the Talos shrine in Riften to cure myself. Instead of worrying about etiher of those things, I'd love to have a portable shrine that I can somehow carry with me and engage with to heal myself whenever I need to. :) Oh and this is something I've wanted to have ever since the game first came out-----I like Uthgerd's house a lot and would love to have my own version of it! :) Thanks for letting me post yet another list full of ideas you guys! Tracy

Hi everyone. I had a few ideas for Dawnguard mods and thought I'd post them together and see if anyone might be interested. :) -A mod that removes Serana from the Dawnguard Fort and sends her back to Volkihar Castle. I don't know about you guys, but I feel weird having here around now that I'm playing a vampire hunter and so I'd like to have her head back to her family home. -A mod that has your Dawnguard spouse stay at the Fort during the day, then head to your player home at night. -A mod that makes some or all of the other Dawnguard members actually leave the fort and hunt vampires at some point! Thanks you guys, Tracy :)

LE Breezehome Firepit Off the floor?
autumnsky38 replied to ramakgaming's topic in Skyrim's Mod Ideas
Hi there. I'm not a modder, but I was getting ready to post this same request, so I just wanted to say thanks, and I hope someone comes along who is interested in doing this! :) Tracy -
Hi everyone. I'm playing Dawnguard again, this time as a human, and I've noticed that the guys at the Fort are starting to notice my Amulet of Mara and asking if I want to get married. Well I tried it with Cellan (sp?) and when I chose the option to live at "his" home, nothing happened. Do you guys know if you can actually live at the Fort with a spouse, or if you have to choose one of your own houses? Also, if you choose one of your own homes, does the Dawnguard spouse then stay there and run a store rather than stay at the Fort "working" for the Dawnguard? Thanks for your help! Tracy

Vampire After Doing Dawnguard First?
autumnsky38 replied to autumnsky38's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
Thanks Jack. Can you tell me where I'd find instructions on how to do that in the console? Thanks! Tracy -
Hi everyone. I just got back into Dawnguard and am doing it as a Dawnguard member instead of a vampire this time. Anyway, I was on one of the wikis, and found a picture of a guy named Ollrod who is supposed to be partrolling around the Dawnguard Fort. Well, I can't seem to find him, eventhough I've met the prerequisites, and so I was wondering if you guys have seen him and where I might find him? (Or if you might know how I can bring him to my position in the game?) Thanks! Tracy
