I just Installed FO4, no mods, new game = infinite loadscreen, getting the funny feeling that bethesda will never again see a penny of my money

well. that's done it for me and nmm ! seeing as it decided (as far as i can tell) to just upgrade without giving me the option i'm now inundated with errors saying it can't find the mods installed with nmm and i can either choose one option which deletes the mod or i can keep going in circles until i let it delete ALL of my mods which are claimed not to be in the correct folders WHICH THEY ARE ! Now having to reinstall everything but using MO as nmm has now destroyed all faith i had in it. where as this may not be the correct thread to make complaints such as this the nmm download page has no comment thread that i can find (probably because the bandwidth might get destroyed by the complaints of how utterly crap nmm is), I'm done with it completely and utterly !

I got the ctd problem constantly on an earlier version so i unistalled it ages ago, thought i'd try the updated version on a new playthrough with a massive reduction in scripted mods and now whenever riding along ANY AND ALL random encounters cause ctd within seconds, never using this again.

I can't even defeat him, as soon as he's roughly 30% health CTD ! 11 attempts now same story every time Gonna try your workaround as soon as i leave the hall of valour and see if that works, will just have to live without the call of valour. if it doesn't i think i will be uninstalling and not reinstalling AGAIN pretty much had it to the back teeth with this crap

you could try this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50305/? , it's just a dll and ini file (which has descriptions in it) that changes the start up/first memory usage allocation from 256mb to 512mb, you can alter the ini to make it higher if you want but i'd stick with the initial settings for a fair while just to make sure. I had similar problems with similar rig (more ram but the hard cap in latest bathesda update is something like 3.2 gb so that doesn't really matter) then it ran way better, after that i set everything to medium and knocked the fade distance down a notch or two and it runs like warm butter (at least untill the next BIG mod or i can afford a WAY better graphics card. these are just my personal experiences and in no way gospel but it could be worth a go. hope this helps *and as the post above states, do please watch that video and subscribe to gophers channel, not just for mod review (although they are really good), but some of the installations instructional videos have saved my butt in big ways, in short gopher rocks !

myself being nowhere near expert, i can't see any issues with the boss list. have you uninstalled anything? sometimes it can happen (and has to me frequently) upon removal of some mods, if you have uninstalled something it'd be a good idea to check the mod page for that one and see if there's any specific uninstall procedure e.g disabling the mod first via mcm menu or console command.

I too have the same issues, firewall has been set to allow all instances but to no avail, upon checking other threads i found a link to manually download the master list but this is all i got from that "403. That's an error your client does not have permission to get url/p/better-oblivion-sorting-software/ from this server. that's all we know." have tried using an older version and it got worsebasically i'm about to write of boss as a viable tool, fed up with the constant frustration that comes from trying to get it to workuninstalling completely for now

Ok so I read this and installed the updated version with the installer, now "the program failed to launch" EVERYTIME ! not only that but it installed vcredistx86 which is pointless as i'm running 64 bit system and already have the 64 bit, I give up, boss can suck it !

f12 does nothing, prt scrn does nothing, nothing to clipboard nothing to file, good luck man and I would recommend not installing fraps it slows your fps down a fair amount, I've given up with it and trying snapshots.

console command tg turns of grass everywhere but only whilst you're playing but not permanently, don't know of any mods that'll get rid completely, personally i like the slightly desolate look, still have trees and shrubs but looks a little more baron.
