Well, lets give this a shot! :)
-
Might as well give it another go :P

For me Sim Settlements turned settlement building from a chore that I barely touched to a massive time consuming activity when playing Fallout 4 which I enjoy greatly. So for me personally this is the most awesome mod that has come out for Fallout 4 yet and I'm always looking forward to the next update :) Thanks a million times to Kinggath and his team for all the time and hard work they put into this incredible mod!

In response to post #56081601. #56081651, #56083286, #56083436 are all replies on the same post. Sure you can, it is called the donations button ;) This new system will be in addition to the donation system in place, not a replacer (at least that is how I understand it), so for mods you are already using and that you think deserve more than an endorsement, just donate the author some bucks directly :).

Gotta say, not happy about the color change for the buttons, this new purple slightly hurts to look at, too glowy.

From my limited use so far I like the new design :) makes more use of widescreen monitors than the old design which is good, however I would like to see the front pages for each game to change a little, instead of scrolling all the way down to see the news, maybe provide 3 buttons at the top to switch between "More Mods", "Media" and "News&Updates" rather than forcing us to scroll all the way down just to reach the news. I personally liked going to the front page and instantly seeing any new articles or news without the need for any scrolling. One other suggestion from me would be to improve the visibility of replys in the comments section of a mod page, the indentation is far too subtle in my opinion and makes it harder to distinguish between a new post and a reply to another one. Either increase the indentation and/or use a different color to make replies more visibly distinguishable. Aside from that I really like the new design, especially the images section of a mod page is far better now and I'm sure with some of the feedback you are getting this design will improve even further :). Keep up the good work!

The big difference between GOG and Steam is that GOG doesn't require a client to run in order for you to launch your games. GOG does offer the Galaxy client to manage your games and download them through it, but it is in no way required, you can just go to GOG.com login and download the game and play it without the need for a client (like Steam) to run. The other big pro is that GOG games are always 100% DRM free unlike some third party games on Steam (Crysis on Steam still uses Securom for example) which is nice since it means less chance of issues occuring due to DRM shenanigans. Another great thing is that GOG makes sure that games run on modern systems or otherwise mention if there might be issues. Steam on the other hand doesn't test their older games for compatability with modern operating systems (they might give a warning though). For example: Fallout 1 and 2 on GOG come with community patches for higher resolutions and fixes right out of the box.
