  1. Are you Frozen....you have Frostfall , Wet n Cold and SkyRe....with that combo i have had this many many times...IF you get hit by a frost spell/arrow, and it puts you at the "Freezing" point you need to find fire!..warm up a bit and continue on..Frost Dragons are a pain, when hit, you walk slower then Slow motion. Go out to 3rd person,,are you frosty looking?? Things you learn with this combo... Beds are few and far between , when tired.....Always carry a bed roll or tent. In the north, fire is never around when you need it....Always carry Firewood, Ruined books. Accidentally falling in water, in the north....do not pass GO...Build a fire. Always carry food and Water. Learn to Forage.... Have Fun, I love this combo of Mods.
  2. Mods cause the wacky ride at the start, The intro is heavily scripted and all mods usually do is interfere. IT is possible that with a very stable set of mods you can, make it thru (I did with over 200 mods active) but for the most part everyone has problems with script heavy mods running. Disable any not needed for character, IE: Race menu , hair, beards, brows....ect ect. Then once past the tutorial and exit cave, save and start adding mods . Load often, save often. Some weirdness with your INI files...16 X AF in both ENB and Skyrimprefs, ini. And NO AA in either? Skyrimprefs.ini iMaxAnisotropy=16 <<<Since you have ENB it is best to set this to 0 in this ini. bFull Screen=0 iPresentInterval=1 <<<<You have Skyrim doing Vsync IF also on in Nvidia they may be conflicting...pick one (i Use Nvidia's) iMultiSample=1 <<<NO AA it is also OFF in the ENB...leave this off and try some AA in ENB.... ENBlocal.ini (Picked some things out to go over)...:) ==================== //homeKeyFPSLimit=36 <<<,the HOME key turns ON and OFF the limiter, make sure you haven't toggled it by mistake. As you do have it set below. =======================[LIMITER]WaitBusyRenderer=falseEnableFPSLimit=true <<<is set to ON SO it should be limiting you to 60 FPS, (unless disabled see note above).FPSLimit=60.0 [ENGINE]ForceAnisotropicFiltering=trueMaxAnisotropy=16 <<,Best to leave this ON and turn OFF AF in skyrimprefs.ini above.ForceLodBias=falseLodBias=0.0AddDisplaySuperSamplingResolutions=falseEnableVSync=false <<< no Vsync from ENB...VSyncSkipNumFrames=0 [ANTIALIASING] <<<<Since you have NO AA in Skyrim...set some AA here, should help lower your FPS a few also...lolEnableEdgeAA=false <<<This is normal AA set to TrueEnableTemporalAA=false <<, drops me to about 5 FPS...hahahEnableSubPixelAA=false <<,IF your rig can handle it, you should set this to True also (check FPS when set to True) EnableTransparencyAA=false When you Open the ENB menu INgame [shift + Enter] the FPS is displayed at the top of the upper box. Pressing / num pad divide? will show the FPS on the screen while playing. Any thing not clear just holler, i know i threw a lot at you all at once...sorry.
  3. Sure there is a difference between High VS low.....A few FPS...:) Check my SIG about SPM and ENB..i am also using ENB 264/ sweetFX
  4. Ya that's what it looks like ....on the WIKI page it says it may appear lighter also...>http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Ebony_Helmet_(Skyrim)
  5. correction to the above post...:) [ Shift + F12 ] turns OFF the ENB. [ Shift + Enter ] opens the IN-game menu. Once opened tweak away, once you get used to it , it is extremely powerful. For settings that are not just True/false, you can ...Click , hold that click, move mouse and a circle with a line appears, rotate around the circle and you change the setting. The RED part of the circle shows where the setting started. it IS easy to acdently let go and lose where you were, SO I have gotten used to making a mental note of what the setting WAS before clicking, IF you get lost, dont "save" just "load and it will bring in all the settings the way it was. PIC this is showing the circle thingy...:) PIC ...one way to have some of the good graphic goodies but NOT have the big hit to the FPS is to go thru and lower the setting for things. < High, medium, low> (look at pic it will make sense). PIC...yes, ENB will work with PrecisionX (or MSI Afterburner) and SPM all on the screen at one time. This way you can see your FPS and VRAM load real time. Get to tweakin...
  6. I was also gonna offer to have a look at the save. I did one recently, and was surprised i got the save fixed (and explained what was needed ) and the person is happily entering Riften . that save had a serious crashing issue. So upload a save ..2 heads and all.... P.S> ya love my camaro...:) And have been looking at adding WZ to my load order, but not sure my rig can handle the load...:)
  7. Sorry to butt in ....In the OP you posted a few things that need addressed and i have not seen them covered....sooo 1) remove the 4gb patch, Skyrim does not need that anymore. 2) you say you used LOOT to sort your MOD list....LOOT did not sort that properly / IS not working for you or you did not click APPLY. The TOP of every Load Order needs to be as follows. Skyrim.esm Update.esm Unofficial Skyrim Patch.esp Dawnguard.esm Unofficial Dawnguard Patch.esp HearthFires.esm Unofficial Hearthfire Patch.esp Dragonborn.esm Unofficial Dragonborn Patch.espIN that order, this is according to the creators of the UNofficial patches. LOOT will give this load order. Make sure you have a current version of LOOT..(grab the v7 from the dropbox link) been using that for months. 3) This must be an older install of mods, some in need of updating, "SPIKE.ESM" is no longer used, The mods that used it have removed it.4) LOOT should defiantly be warning you of a few mods in this Load order, have you done what LOOT has said? Midas comes to mind, since you also have Apocalipse...why both? And is Midas the repaired version. Unless you are Extremely attached to the character, I would suggest going thru all mods , making sure you really have to have it, check for a newer version, Install mods on a fresh install, Check after installing any big mods.Few random questions...a) Do you have SKSE w/SKSE.ini , and one of the lines is "clear invalid registrations"b) IS your ENB set up correctly to have Memory managment.c) Have you installed "Stable Ugrids to load" Good luck....
  8. In the link you posted...the top portion is a either or choices...you only need to pick one of the 3 choices. I would tell everyone to do #3. Move Steam. This could be nothing more then a permission thing with windows , having STEAM in the "program files" folder is just a pain.
  9. You could try the easy way>>Guide:Make_Skyrim_Vanilla_Again I can verify it does work and saves a massive download time. I am running a 250+ mod install after doing the above.
  10. I was reading your reply and thought ...wait I said that why is he thanking Lord Garon...lmao...double posts... :)
  11. Paprus also shows us you have edited the INI files . Generate NEW ini files and try Starting the game. To have the game generate fresh ini files...Remove the 2 INI files in "my Docs" folder. Start game with the Original Game launcher. And as for that error, i think i have seen that in every single report ever posted...lol
  12. TES5Edit is telling you ... You have the "Patch" active for the HR DLC's but you do not have the Official HR DLC's loading. so either install/tick, the 3 High Res Textures packs OR disable the UNofficial patch for them. you have this..>Unofficial High Resolution Patch.esp Which requires these>>HighResTexturePack01.esp , HighResTexturePack02.esp , HighResTexturePack03.esp
  13. Ya i never fight an install..if the mod author suggest/recommends a bunch of mods i read up, if i agree, they get included in my setup... Carefully reading that will lead you to a few different mod pages and they will in turn lead you to a few more good / recommended mods. Guess that is how i ended up with over 250 mods , but no crashing. This run with perma is level 25 not one crash. But since its a new run its only at 40 hours .. Also to OP, glad you have it working...!
  14. it Could be that the game is just confused at this point, for one you have..>>iPresentInterval=1 in BOTH skyrim.ini and Skyrimprefs.ini. It only belongs in one>>Skyrimprefs.ini. Generating NEW ini files may help. Cant check your ENBlocal.ini..it was removed. I found Skyrim to play best with this setup...(144HZ Monitor) Disable Skyrims VSync (iPresentInterval=0) Disable ENB FPS limiter & VSync. Use NVidia's CP To setup your VSync. ( i am currently using... "ON (smooth)" w/ triple buffering / SLI / Threaded Optimizations / Adaptive / single display, and Skyrim runs perfect. or use the "Half Refresh" setting for VSync in NVidia CP its a little jerky with SLI tho.. EDIT: I should note I added Texture mods and raised settings in ENB till my 2 580's could only hold 50FPS with NO Vsync enabled at all...lol...then turned on VSync in Nvidia . Extreme battles tend to get a little slugish..(30 FPS) still playable tho.
  15. Take things slow read up on the patcher page....also missing from your load order..pretty sure these are required or at least expected to be present for the patcher to work properly.. WAFR CCOR BoYD CCF (CLOTHING & CLUTTER FIXES)
  16. Na if you used that Site properly and kept the big stuff, HR dlc's it should not have to download much when you do the "Verify". Have you give MO (Mod Orginizer) a look. MO is a more advanced manager, but this is my second extreme setup and MO has never failed on me. it always runs, has never misplaced a mod. IT works hand in hand with the important things, Wrye Bash, Tes5Edit, LOOT, handles my 250+ install without issues.
  17. Now we can help.... Try using LOOT instead...BOSS is outdated, and is not being worked on any more. It is not recognizing the Perkus stuff . and LOOT will sort this Load order better. Does not look like you ran the "perkus Maximus patcher" (PaMa) as i do not see the ""PatchusMaximus.esp"" , in your load order. This is what sets the stats...you need to run the JAR file. The JAR file is in the "Skyproc patchers" folder in DATA. This is what creates the PatchusMaximus.esp. IT is easier to use SUM (linked below). Best way i found is to use SUM for all the skyproc patchers. side note: while i posted this, SUM is running , DSR, AV, And Patchus MAximus for me, it is going on 20 mins...lol EDIT: total time about 30 mins.
  18. First try the "ENB Remover" remove all traces of ENB then install the latest one. IF you are still having problems post both ENBlocal.ini and ENBseries.ini (in spoiler tags).
  19. Re run the PaMa patcher, Re-run bashed patch. Run DSR, or Skyproc, or AV, YOU have to pick the best ones for you because without your Load order I have no clue what you have installed and what you actually need to do to try to fix this. IT could be as simple as moving Perkus maximus below that other mod...no not that one the other one. or that Mod that is above Perkus maximus needs to load after it. Its like putting on a blind fold....no clue what you have.
  20. Been using Avast for about 10 years, has saved me a bunch of times, so will also put a +1 for Avast.
  21. make sure (JaySus Swords) is not in any Dynamic patches....PaMa, bashed Patch, DSR.... You can ... Use Wrye Bash, on the mods tab see if any mods are RED when JaySuS is de-selected. Use TES5Edit , load with JaySuS deselected see if xxedit gives you any errors.
  22. Hi,. First..what load order?...unless it's an invisible link, i don't see it...:) Have you tried SUM , Using MO i could not get PaMa to run, but when using SUM the patch completes. IN SUM go to the "Options" and set the memory to 1024.
  23. I wouldn't think ANY laptop could run Skyrim "Fully" modded. With 250 Script heavy mods + 200 or so 4K Texture mods would be considered "FULLY" modded and even the most bad ass Desktop with water cooling , SLI , 8 core , 32 GB ram , may still struggle....lol Now a not so over the top setup , Say ENB (performance) , 1k (exterior) and 2 - 4k interior, with about 150 - 175 mod setup...yes. Skyrim loves SLI, With 2 580's (3GB each) with 384 BIT bus I fill them to 2.8 GB all day, and so wish i had 8 GB VRAM on a 512 BUS because i know i had to NOT install all the mods I wanted, even had to remove a few to lessen the load a bit. With my ENB (Serenity) 200 + mods i am OK playing at 38 - 40 FPS , only real slow downs is when i have 5 -10 characters fighting , especially with Mages spamming spells.
  24. ESP = Elder Scrolls Plugin ESM = Elder Scrolls Master Both of these are what is considered "Plugins" and count toward the maximum of 256 . Some mods do not need to have an ESM or ESP , Texture only mods for instance, so these kinds of mods would not count toward the maximum. That is how i can have nearly 300 "mods" and only 215 "plugins".
