  1. I did say though, it isn't just her. Its every NPC with scars in the game, including his player character. Before his reinstall her scars looked fine, as did everyone elses. How does she have a grey face bug? She looks completely normal to me. I can't show you the rest of the game, but everyones faces look normal, aside from the scars being too bright and red.
  2. Last ngiht ym husband reinstalled Skyrim from scratch. He has no mods altering scars, and is using Coverwomen 3 faces and Genox-nobeard faces. He's tried with his ENB on and off, but he's still getting base game scars that look like this: http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv142/fragmentedbeauty/72850_screenshots_2014-09-14_00002.jpg http://i678.photobucket.com/albums/vv142/fragmentedbeauty/72850_screenshots_2014-09-14_00001.jpg He even tried downloading some new scars that were meant to be very subtle, but they turned out like this too, on every character with scars. Anyone have any idea why?
  3. I tried the method of using that ini file. It works, but alchemy has to be set to 0.1 or you don't learn effects from eatting the ingredients.
  4. No. It's just plain not wanting to gain character levels from crafting at all.
  5. I suppose, but it's the immersion breaking part that would sort of ruin it for me. I'm all about the immersion.
  6. I feel like I would break something.. I'd much rather see it as a mod, done by someone confident they know what they are doing. But I suppose if no one steps up I can give it a shot.
  7. Gonna resurrect this. I simply want to work on my crafting, and level only my crafting skills but not my characters overall level. Possible?
  8. Dang, that's a shame.
  9. Hm, neither of those are quite what I'm after. They have time pass AFTER you read, calculating how much time you spent. What I'm looking for is something that works like when you are smithing, enchanting, or doing alchemy. The world around you still moves, sound effects play, time passes, you're still in danger. Essentially, Id like to have the book up on the screen so I can read, but the background still be moving instead of paused.
  10. I was standing on the balcony of my Skyrim home, and I thought to myself: Wouldn't it be nice to read the lore books up here?' But alas time doesn't pass in the background, making it lose it's atmosphere. It would be a great way to wait around if you aren't using the 'Wait' button, a way to feel more immersed. Time doesn't stop for enchanting or smithing, so perhaps the same could be done for reading? It's certainly make picking up notes and journals in dungeons more dangerous!
  11. Just as the title says. My spouse keeps telling me to check the basement, and I'm aware that in Hearthfire you are supposed to get random skeever infestations in the cellar. However, absolutely nothing is spawning, but my spouse keeps saying it. The only other home I have is Breezehome, which has no cellar, so it HAS to be Lakewood Manor, my main home. Is there any way to force the event, or cause it to trigger? This is frustrating!
  12. That would be awesome. If it were a merchant, I'd hope for something lore-friendly. Someone hidden away, or a wandering merchant. Wouldn't make much sense to openly sell Daedric stuff in a shop in town! We'll see what people have to say, and I'll be in touch.
  13. I'm pretty sure this doesn't exist, as I've looked all over, so I'll request it here. I would like to request a mod that adds mini daedric shrines to the game. Right now, in Hearthfire, you can craft the Divines shrines for your basement. I'd like to see an option for daedra worshipers. The shrines don't even have to be functional, just decorative. Simply being purchaseable from certain merchants, or found as loot in chest (randomized, or maybe nearby the actual shrines themselves) would be great. If miniature statue models would be too complex, I wouldn't mind helping design simplified shrines, similar to the symbolic shrines for the Divines.
  14. I'm also having this bug. I'm not sure it would be my mods, because I've been playing with the same mods for ages but the bug only just began to occur. I'm a werewolf, would that contribute to the cowering? The sit bug is annoying though.. NPC's move to sit, twist, but just before their but hits the chair they glitch back to standing. Then they get stuck in an infinite loop of this.
