  1. I've used several of Elianora's house mods and each one is brilliant. The attention to detail, creativity, how you acquire the property, the look of exterior & interior home with regard to its location, how it fits with the character type its intended for, and of course her signature wardrobes and named storage! Elianora is definitely among the best at creating high quality Skyrim real estate.
  2. I totally agree. I actually just did that quest today and when you think about it, it's incredibly unrealistic that you missed the carriage, the fight, the vampires and the moth priest. In reality you should have come upon the fight or at least the vampires taking him away. It's a big oversight on Bethesda's part to let a small and also important detail slip through the cracks. If anything having to ask people in Dragon Bridge about the moth priest could have been taken out and instead you could have just come upon the carriage and dead vampires. Then investigated the scene and continued the quest from there.
  3. Wow! This is an impressive mod project you've taken on and thank you for taking the time to encourage exploration across Skyrim. You've got a solid list for your cards so far and I've just got a couple of suggestions. I like what you've got for the Dark Brotherhood but maybe you could add a card for Astrid. If I missed it then disregard this but what about Thieves Guild cards for Brynjolf, Karliah, and Nocturnal.
  4. You might consider the mod Character Creation Overhaul. It allows you to choose a class type, mage, thief, and warrior and then choose a subclass. Your choice will determine what your characters starting skills are and are no longer decided by your characters race. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21587/?
  5. I agree. I've played with Frostfall installed and anytime you swim in cold water you get cold. Likewise you should warm up some in the hot springs but not enough to completely warm you up since you are wet. Plus there are two hunters enjoying the hot springs too and they seem to be nice and warm.
  6. I've been watching an LP and the mod Interesting NPC's is used. The LPer went with a farmer named Hjoromir. He's not much at first but if you equip him well, he can kick ass. Also, the voice acting is excellent and fits into the game seamlessly.
  7. Skyrim Wayshrines - Immersive Fast Travel adds several wayshrines across Skyrim and the new locations added by the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLC's. To keep it immersive you have to discover a wayshrine before you can use it. Check it out here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64201/?
  8. If you join the Dark Brotherhood and make some progress in the questline one of your targets is Victoria Vicci. As Astrid will tell you Victoria is the Emporer's cousin and looks after the East Empire Companie's holdings in Skyrim. Not much else is said and if you do knock her off I don't know who replaces her. Also, there's a side quest you can pick up from the wine vendor in the Solitude market. The merchant will send you to talk to Victoria and says she's in an upper level managment postion for the EEC. Also, in Raven Rock there's side quest in the mines and the quest giver will share some history of the EEC with you. Beyond that I don't of any other lore in game about the EEC.
  9. Your intro would be a massive improvement on the lore and it would contribute to the main questline. For the lore of Skyrim it brings the talk of dragons returing and Alduin returning to life. For the main quest it "introduces" your character to Paarthurnax sooner as opposed to half way through the main quest and it adds needed backstory to the mid main quest fight with Alduin at the Throat of the World. Brilliant idea for a mod!
  10. Yes. The Cival War questline in the vanilla game is setup to where your decision of which side you're on in the cival war isn't final until you give the Jagged Crown to the Stormcloaks or Imperials. Once you do that it is.
  11. Take a look at Ravenhom, a vampire themed, one-story home located in the mountains northeast of Rifen. It features all the vanilla crafiting stations, options for a bed or coffin to sleep in, unique weapon storage for Dawngaurd DLC weapons and a few for Daederic artifcacts. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65528/?
  12. Why would the Imperials travel from Darkwater Crossing through Helgen to Fort Neugrad and then back to Helgen? After the Imperial ambush at Darkwater Crossing, it's possible that the Imperials then took the prisonsers to Fort Neugard for temporay holding until their fate was decieded. If you look on a map the road going west towards Helgen forks just before the gates to the village. So they could've taken the road south to the fort first to join the other prisoners. Then supposedly upon General Tulius's decision, the prisoners were taken to Helgen. Also, remember that in the opening scene of the game there is another carriage ahead of the one Ralof, Lokir, Ulfric, and the Dragonborn are in. So maybe the other Stormcloak prisoners had also been held at Fort Neugard.
  13. I've read several of the replies to this topic and studied the map of the areas in question. These are my conclusions: The Imperial ambush at Darkwater Crossing makes sense because they were trying to capture Ulfric seeing as how he had killed the High King of Skyrim. There's also an Imperial military camp in the Rift hold which could explain them being able to pull of an ambush. The same could also be said of Ralof being a Stormcloak he may have been assigned to the area to keep watch for the Imperials that would be pursuing Ulfric. Lokir being caught there doesn't make that much sense and the Dragonborn being caught there doesn't make a damn bit of sense. I think the writers left some gaps in the back story, didn't account for any inconsistancies, and didn't give as many details as they could have to help the story make more sense. Also, the conspiracy theory someone mentioned about the prisoners being taken to Fort Neugrad and then onto Helgen to destory the Stormcloaks and make Tulius a hero is a completely resonable theory.
  14. I've read a few articles online all saying Argonia for TESVI although it's all specualtion which has gone so far as to say that the next Elder Scrolls game would release in the first quarter of 2016. All rumors though and it doesn't seem likely that Bethesda is going to say anything about it at E3 in June, what with ESO coming out for the consoles in June, it's more likley for them to announce Fallout 4.
  15. Fight Against the Thalmor - Five part quest mod, each part is an individual mod. New locations are added to the world of Skyrim and if you happen to be anti-Thalmor and want an opportunity to bring a further ass kicking upon them, give this mod a go. Moonpath to Elsywere - This mod takes you outside of Skyrim (like Faalskar does) to the homeland of the Kahjits. Gopher did a Let's Play and review of it and it looks like a lot of fun! I watched his LP and the mod was very well done from storyline to quests to voice acting.
