  1. jlamar92 - Hello! It could be one of your mods. Try turning off all of your mods (right clicking on them in FOMM allows you to select "Uncheck all") & just run with vanilla Fallout 3. If that runs trouble free then turn your other mods back on, one at a time checking between to see if Fallout 3 still runs. That way you can identify the culprit. Other than that, my game certainly runs better with this: Fallout Stutter Remover http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8886 I'd recommend the FSR_4-0-7 vesion rather than the WIP. Don't forget it requires FOSE if you do use it: http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=8606 I don't even need that multi core fix in the .ini when I use that. Hope this helps! Prensa
  2. Gam0rdude - Hello! When you say "stopped working" what do you mean exactly? Does Fallout begin to start then CTD before the menu or does it not even start. If it does not even start, go to your Fallout folder & see if running the Fallout3.exe or the FalloutLauncher.exe directly start it. If they've been altered the link on your desktop may not be linking to it properly. You might want to uninstall DarNifiedUIF3 & see if it runs as that relies on some .ini changes & it's possible something got changed in there. Worth a try! The only other thing I can suggest is turn off all of your mods (right clicking on them in FOMM allows you to select "Uncheck all") & just run with vanilla Fallout 3. If that runs then turn your other mods back on, one at a time checking between to see if Fallout 3 still runs. That way you can identify the culprit. Hope this helps! Prensa
  3. jlamar92 - Hello! Sounds like the Fallout 3 multi core bug. Does the game freeze mainly in small interiors, locking up & then CTDing? Fallout 3 has trouble with multi core computers, mainly with ones that have more than two cores & use hyperthreading. You say you've used the ini fix? Are changing the right .ini, the one you want to change is: For XP: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\ For Win7: Documents\My Games\Fallout3 & change this line: bUseThreadedAI=0 to: bUseThreadedAI=1 & insert this line under it: iNumHWThreads=2 Save & close your ini. Hope this Helps! Prensa
  4. strinxy - Hello! I've never used Fallout 3 Tactics Plugin but I might be able to give you a few clues as to what's happened. No point reinstalling Fallout 3 as all it's meshes, textures, sounds etc are in .bsa files. Meaning they cannot be overidden by mod added files. Mods can only supercede Fallout 3 original files by being in the Fallout 3/Data folder. Meaning if a file that replaces an original Fallout 3 asset gets deleted, Fallout 3 will revert to the original file in it's .bsa files. Did you install/uninstall Fallout 3 Tactics Plugin by hand rather than FOMM? It's most likely when you installed Fallout 3 Tactics Plugin that you overwrote some files that another of your mods added. So when you removed it, the mods left behind ended up with missing files. If you uninstalled by hand rather than using FOMM, it's even possible you removed something that didn't even belong to Fallout 3 Tactics Plugin mod. That's why this: "I tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. (But leaving all of the mods and DLC intact) Didn't work." Didn't work, you didn't reinstall your mods & that's the most likely source of your problem. Look at what items are giving you the missing mesh symbols & see if you can work out what mod they are from. That way you can reinstall the affected mod & fix your missing meshes. You mention the minigun, if it's all missing weapons look at your mods that add or modify weapons. If your other mods were installed via FOMM you can just go to the Package Manager & select Reactivate which should restore all it's assets. Hope this helps! Prensa
  5. Hello! I'm not an expert on the GECK but I do know that the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch: http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=3808 Adds dummy files to the location: textures\Characters\head\earshuman.dds As well as a few others in order to stop the GECK grumbling about them being missing. From the Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch Version History: "Fallout 3: Fixed G.E.C.K complaining about a lot of "missing" textures relating to NPC's mouth\ears ect (Added Texture: earshuman.dds, earshuman_n.dds, earshuman_sk.dds, mouthhuman_n.dds, mouthraider_n.dds, teethlowerghoul_n.dds, teethlowerhuman_n.dds, teethlowerraider_n.dds, teethupperghoul_n.dds, teethupperhuman_n.dds, teethupperraider_n.dds, tongueghoul_n.dds, tonguehuman_n.dds, tongueraider_n.dds). " Hope this helps! Prensa
