  1. I don't have that problem with the program on my computer, so I can't directly help you with that However, you may want to look at this Wrye bash installation and error guide: http://wryebash.netai.net/#Installation This may also help: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Tes4Mod:Wrye_Bash/Installation
  2. We will hopefully have a far better year and things with become a little more "normal" around these parts and things begin to settle down. Hopefully we're reaching a calm point ahead.
  3. I couldn't tell you if it was brought on by the mod itself. I just know that there's something wrong if you broke into a store without being caught, yet you still have to pay a fine for it. It's possible, though unlikely as it may be, that you were just barely caught in the process of breaking in. That could've signaled them.
  4. Well, you can get Exnems body replacer for the females and Robert's for the males to make them look more realistic. Both have nude and non-nude versions (I use personally the non-nude ones), and then there's Qarl's texture pack 3 for the environments. All of which can be found on Tesnexus.
  5. I would categorize the weapon damages, blunt, blade, marksman, and hand-to-hand, as their own forms of damage personally. They each require gaining skill in separately from one another. FO3 stuff is probably better asked in that forum, but as far as I can remember, there's light and heavy gun damage, explosive damage, fire damage, hand-to-hand damage, melee damage, and laser/plasma weapon damage.
  6. If you haven't already, get the latest drivers for your video card. That could be causing the issue. If it isn't, then you'd probably do best to remove the program and re-install it as mooncarver mentioned.
  7. Just cleared the cache. It's finally updated... thanks for notifying me of that! :thanks:
  8. I think it does, but even so, I looked on my profile and noticed that I had a visitor today (and after I had already reached 5000 views) and even then, it still didn't update to 5001 or something.
  9. Money ofc. Here's a scenario: A fashion company wants to develop some new makeup to make themselves more money. They hire some "beautiful" models to display the makeup and make it all "oooh! Ahh!" to the female viewers. Then they go out and buy the stuff and the company goes and makes good money out of their product. Shoot, they maybe even were false advertising and really just made makeup out of food coloring and gave their models the real-thing just so they spend less on their product and get a bigger profit. Where does the money go? To the pockets of the company's shareholders. Another company thinks they're going to make money out of making a cure for a disease that happens to be widespread only in "third-world countries" (and I use the term fairly loosely) and not in the countries they wish to serve. Then, they realize that they're really not going to make much money out of it because the people who need it can't afford basic medical services, much less for the $100 cure the company just developed. They soon go bankrupt after spending much money on something that didn't sell where it needed to or when it was needed. And then the rest of the people who are in our status (and no offense at this), who can give a bit of money each to help these people would rather spend our money on luxuries that we never end up using much like an extra remote control, or new clothes when the older ones still fit and look fine, or a new set of speakers when the other ones still worked. That's what happens with all this.
  10. Okay, it's probably been about 24 hours or so since my profile views were at 5000. Well, I know I've myself looked at my profile a good 4 or so times today and noticed that it hasn't updated at all to 5004 or so. The thing says "updated hourly" so I'm wondering if there's a server issue, or if it is something related to premium membership or something else...
  11. I've been playing violent video games all my life (yes, since I was an infant) and I'm 17 now. I've never willingly started a fight and never held a gun in my life. I've noticed more problems personally caused by debating whether video games are bad or not than actually caused by the games themselves. Smash and burn the games? Does anyone notice something ironic here? They're pretty much saying, give us these games so we can go make bonfires out of them and take this t-shirt and shut-up. Talk about using people.
  12. 34: In the mountains west of Chorrol, and in the mountains north of the Ayleid ruin Malada, are two shrines that can't be activated, but are in their own interesting locations.
  13. Either the remake of Alone in the Dark, or Daikatana...
  14. Just in case you haven't already, make sure you've downloaded Wrye Python first before you begin using Wrye Bash http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View...etail&id=44 After that, here are the steps to importing your character's face to the mod: 1: Start up the editor and select only the Oblivion.esm file to be read. 2: Once it has loaded, save the mod as anything, for example, test.esp 3: Leave the editor 4: With wrye bash and python installed, start up Bash through the launcher 5: In the launcher console, scroll over to mods where you should find a list of all the .esp's and .esm's that you have in your data folder. Keep searching down till you find the mod you just saved. 6: When you find your mod, right click on its name in the launcher where a list should appear. Scroll down to import and go to import face 7: Now a list of your savegames should appear. Go to the savegame with the face you want, select it, and click ok. 8: Your characters face ought to be imported to your mod with the prefix "sgImpu" followed by "your character's name" and ended with "00". 9: Start up the editor again and load up your mod. 10: Your character's face is in the mod under the ID form mentioned in #8. Now, it is up to you how you want to use this face.
  15. Oblivion's crime system is already messed up anyway as it is. Although the guards shouldn't be chasing you with a bounty of less than 500 (they don't in my game except under the following conditions), unless another NPC sounded the alarm who witnessed the crime, or the guard himself witnesses the crime you committed or if you approach and talk with a guard while having the bounty on your head. But they shouldn't follow you with a 500- bounty otherwise. Doing things inside of NPC's houses, even if they are sleeping tends to attract their attention. Go into sneak mode and kill one of say 5 people in a house, everyone else tends to wake up for whatever reason, even if you technically weren't supposed to be heard because you either have a very good sneak skill or were invisible. NPC's tend to not be very smart in many aspects, yet they seem to be psychic toward all of your crimes... Don't ask me why. Finally, when they mean hiding, they mean just that: Don't be caught by anyone while you're committing your crime. So after you killed that last person, immediately go into invisibility mode just in case someone else goes psychic and wakes up then walks into the room five seconds later. However, the most messed-up part of the entire system is that not even hiding is going to protect you from getting a bounty when major crimes happen to people with the highest responsibility in the game. Even if you kill a very high-responsibility NPC in the heartlands of Nibenay, miles away from any guard, in the vanilla game guards will still somehow know you killed that person because of their high responsibility. It's just how the game works: Probably Bethesda's biggest mistake in making the entire crime system...
  16. You're banned for assuming I'm lazy. :whistling: You're banned because... well, I am laughing at a video right now.
  17. Banned because of the 1 hour+ difference between my and your posts.
  18. Pretty much, yeah. And thanks! Another one in Gmod I took earlier with the entire L4D1 and 2 gangs. http://img684.imageshack.us/img684/5048/gmconstruct0000a.jpg
  19. Banned for honesty? (O rly?) :whistling:
  20. Great Idea! Though preferably, I think we ought to make it so we only post one's we've taken ourselves... One of my newest images: http://img64.imageshack.us/img64/1663/gmconstruct0002.jpg
  21. Well, I can't find a precise list of the ID's for all things in FO3, but if you look up a character's name in this wiki, you should find their respective ID. This list you'll see here is just a list of the cell ID's in FO3 and it's expansions. If you want to use the ID for a character, use this just like you would Wikipedia and look their name up (can't find a single list of all the NPC's...). On their page, they should have both a base and reference ID. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Cell_ID
  22. That's just creepy... I wonder if he does that when wartime is over... Ranokoa: I thought you found it?
  23. On some people when they post, it will remain grey even if they were on the forums recently. It either means, one, they logged out, or two, they are browsing the forums as a private user and will appear offline to everyone else (except for probably the mods).
  24. Just check here for the best mods for Oblivion: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/top/alltime.php It's the top 100 mods ever list. Easiest way to simplify the mods-searching business. Most of the mods that you'll ever want to revamp Oblivion can be found in this list. Personal recommendations though on the list are Midas Magic, Deadly Reflex, and Natural Environments.
