  1. The only thing that I know is that "Steam Cloud Files are synchronized for this app".
  2. Well, I renamed the Obliviondefault.ini file, I did the Steam validation process, but I still face the same problems.
  3. That could be the problem. I recently bought a new pc and for reasons unknown, I still have the saved files from the other pc (even though I didn't move them to the new). I have the Steam version of the game. Something more that bothers me is that every time I launch Oblivion, the game sets my graphics settings (like it's its first time). Last, but not least, I can't load my saves from the previous pc, not can I make any new saves (auto-save, quicksave, etc). No I missed this post ... do you have the cloud saves (or whatever Steam calls them) option enabled? I don't know that. How can I find out?
  4. Yes. Did you happen to read what I wrote about the saves and all that as well? That could be the problem. 5. Also, yes. The game is from Steam, but what do you mean Vanilla version?
  6. The best you can do to delete a duplicated post is to edit it and remove all of the content (but I wouldn't worry about it). Is your game from Steam where you can easily re-download the vanilla game? I'm wondering if there is a problem perhaps with your Oblivion_Default.ini that is causing trouble (for example look in Oblivion_Default.ini found in the Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion folder and see if you have bEnableBorderRegion=1 in the [Main] section ... I'm wondering if that got changed to bEnableBorderRegion=0 at some point in time by mistake). No, it's set to 1.
  7. I also can't find bUseMyGameDirectory. It's nither in the MyOldOblivion.ini nor in Oblivin.ini.

  9. So, I renamed the .ini file, which has the bBorderRegionsEnabled. But I still face the problem and now I have two files: 1)MyOldOblivion.ini and Oblivion.ini (bBorderRegionsEnabled is not in the Oblivion.ini file). [sorry for the second answer. How can I delete it?]

  11. Yes, that is what I am talking about. I edit the .ini file in My Documents. I also tried by putting bBorderRegionsEnabled under the [General] section by myself, but it doesn't work.
  12. There is no bBorderRegionsEnabled in the [general] section of the .ini file. Only bEnableBorderRegion in the [main] section.
  13. Every time I try to go to an exterior, I get that message. And before you ask, I have disabled the border through the .ini file and I have used TES4EDIT and TESLODGEN. Any idea what's causing it?
  14. I tried to solve the issue, by doing what was described above. I uploaded the new version. Pls let me know if that works now.
  15. Wait. I must have uploaded a wring file. I uploaded the mod today: https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/50712
  16. There is the mod. Sorry for taking too long, I was having problems uploading the files. https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/50712?tab=files
  17. I 'll upload an update to the mod, to see if this worked. Can you take a look at it? It doasn't require any other mods. I 'll tell you when I upload it.
  18. Something is not right. I edited one of the .nif files, but now all meshes files have the same path as that certain .nif. When I select auto-detect again the path goes again as D:\steamlibrary\steamapps\common\oblivion\data.
  19. I can actually edit it. So, I delete everything left of Textures in each and every one of the meshes files?
  20. So I clicked the auto-detect game paths, but still the path of the .nif file is D:\steamlibrary\steamapps\common\oblivion\data etc etc. But I noticed that in other mods the path is textures\armor\ etc etc. If I click add folder, I just have another path with the same directory (D:\steamlibrary\steamapps\common\oblivion\data etc etc). So?
