  1. It worked BUT the step 7 moved ALL my other games mods to new drive as well!! I just wanted Skyrim to be moved not FO4 and others. Something to be careful about this if you don't want to move other games. Is this possible to copy just one game? Edit: Phew, that was the download folder that I moved, which moved all my downloaded mods to other drive, not the "Mod staging folder".
  2. I completely agree with the console marketing strategy and weak hardware components. To get more profits from these consoles, they don't bring in a new console for years and when they do bring new console, its years behind current hardware. Having fortunate enough to have a good 4K TV, I appreciate how good a game can look and play in 4K HDR. I know that the image will not be full 4K in many games but I am enjoying my games more on console than on my PC. Sure 4K TV is expensive but a good TV lasts for many more years than a console and it's not just for gaming, so its worth its high price.
  3. I got my XBOX One X as I got a 4K TV last year and I wanted to enjoy games on my 55" HDR TV instead of 1440 monitor without HDR. Personally, it is a massive difference in visual quality. I also like playing on my couch instead of sitting on a chair. I still game on my gaming rig for games that require mouse and keyboard or can be heavily modded (Skyrim for example). We'll see how PS5 will look like in terms of 4k 60 fps power. If they can do it then I have to say I won't upgrade my PC at all as PC upgrades are getting more and more expensive.
  4. The reason that launcher comes up is that your fallout NV game steam id is not the default steam id. Find the correct steam id for your game in "Steam\SteamApps" folder and pass it as a parameter to FNV4GB executable. For example in my case it is: fnv4gb.exe" -SteamAppId 22490 Once you pass the correct id, launcher will not show up.
  5. Hi I am trying to replace desert cricket/cicada sounds with my own wav file but it is not working and I always get default sounds. I tried to point the default sound to my wave file but its not picking it up. I created a new folder under sound/fx and then placed my file there. Then in the GECK I edited the properties of the Cicada sound with my own. I then saved and placed the .esp at the end of load order. But the default sounds still play. Can you please give me some hints as to how can I replace a default sound with my own? Many Thanks
