  1. lol my fps is capped 60, im taking what i get, the game is playable? yes, is it perfect? no =\ before i made this forum post, ive done 3 clean installs with mods install after them, which took me roughly 4-5 days each day for an install, was all because each time something goes wrong and id have no idea what, so id start over, point is im not starting over now! haha
  2. Please don't, actually. In a few days I will open an official [WIPz] SKSE64 thread which should be the main place to discuss things on the forums. The plan is to open that when my demo video is ready. Unfortunately that will still be a few days away. very nice! i actually wanted to suggest to you making an official thread WIP once theres something to show/discuss, maybe also down the line get helping hands
  3. i see, he says performance impact, thats all, and if you see my game right now, its full of scripted things lol, performance is crappy (it runs 60fps but when scripts need to load there would be mini-stutters) i dont mind it really, so its fine. as im playing through, im seeing a lot of weird stuff, bugs, AI failures, nothing game breaking but feels like the game's engine is barely keeping it together, bugs im getting are ones like vanilla scripted encounters with NPCs, they do what they're supposed to but before that they just stand around then they do idk, other bug ive seen is at whiterun one of the shop keepers leaning towards counter but doing that in middle of the street, and cant talk to him lol, another one is i saw one NPC sitting on an invisible chair.. CTD count: 1 Freeze: 1 im pretty sure they were just random, CTD and freeze is bound to happen possibly unrelated: i had to replace UFO with Extensible Follower Framework as soon as i ran into a bug where one follower isnt being sent back home

  5. after some serious thought, i went ahead and installed it, put everything where it needs to be, added w'e patches i could find, loaded my game, went into the first inn i could find, talked to 2 fully voiced full of dialogue NPCs that for a minute thought were vanilla, this is amazing, so far no problems hope it stays that way, could you link me to the post where the creator says wetandcold and footsteps specifically can make problems with it? i havent found such information, because with this addition i think im satisfied with the build now! as for the cleaning, as i mentioned eariler, since no crashes it would be better to hold off on cleaning, but i'll cross-check the ones LOOT thinks are dirty and check their pages for warnings but not cleaning them, if i dont find any mention of that might just clean them, only takes me a few minutes after all.
  6. well that is the thing, i usually download mods 1 at a time, have like 10 or 20 and i play, and as i play i think of things id like to add, so i search for a mod for them, other times im just casually looking through nexus, but this time i already had mods downloaded ready, from my previous playthrough last year updated what had a new version and got a few new ones here and there, adding them all at once is madness and a lesson well learned, but i had no choice i had my mind set on a type of playthrough, what brings me back to skyrim always is the mods, the amazing work mod creators do, each time is a different experience i will look into the dawnguard thingie! also i think i have 5 warnings from LOOT about dirty mods, im afraid to clean them as sometimes the mod creators say (do not clean) then its hard to tell which ones safe to clean and not so im holding off on that for now im currently downloading interesting NPC's (yes your gonna wanna kill me haha) but ive never actually tried this mod, and i always seen it years back since it first started, but i always said "ohhh its too big", in either way, i think im on the safe side now, if i add this, it would be the only NPC adding mod i'd have in my list, as you can tell im itching to fill up my world in skyrim with more npcs, since im guessing im on safe side im gonna install it using NMM, things go south i can just get rid of it right? if you know any information about the mod would be greatly appreciated, ive read all i can find on it, compared to my mod list, i didnt find anything could go badly? or is this too great of a risk!
  7. yes im 100% sure Rigmor and immersive armor conflicted upon starting new game 1. even though ive read all there is on his page, think im gonna put better vampires for a lot later or maybe never 2. i just did, tested it, no crash seems good! even though idk if this is related, but i see NPCs eating.. air and drinking air (they are empty handed but doing the eating/drinking animation) 3. gonna hold off on trade and barter for now i guess 4. well, this is the scary part, open cities and adding more NPCs with HDT physics, if i was on special edition things would be fine, (btw ive always used open cities since it released on oblivion then followed it up on skyrim) but if adding more npcs gonna screw up stability i dont think i wanna take that risk, as for immersive citizens, its AI change and has a compatibility patch for open cities so... but yeah 5. also gonna hold off on this 6. i moved it just now, didnt get any crashes with it where it was before so i thought the ones under it dont really count affect it 1. LOOT says its clean i'll check 2. done its also worth mentioning ive installed ENBboost (just for boost not graphical in anyway) thinking no harm in that? 3. i think this is pretty much it for now =) any other mods i'll be adding gonna be small things here and there, and i'll know instantly if i just installed a bad one or not, it is JUST the special edition got me spoiled on how much more stable it is, guess i'll have to wait for the dust to settle and more mods get ported/official updates. thanks a lot for all your help and replies friend! may the 8 guide your way

  9. hello, sorry i didnt see you reply, was writing my post 1.yes my skyrim folder is clean, what i did was get a clean install off of steam, cleaned its masters via tesedit by the book, what i do: open tesedit, select only example: update, apply filter for cleaning, remove identical to masters, undelete and disable refrences, close, save only update.esm, repeat same for rest of DLCs. Note: i do not touch skyrim esm 2.as i mentioned above 3.i added one, once i figured it out, enabled debugg mode? although im not sure what lines exactly i should be adding 4.it is 5.no, i dont dare getting near ENB's specially with stuff happening with me recently! lol could you please read my post, and thank you so much for sticking around.
  10. i may have found the culprit, the CTD 10 seconds or so after new game, caused by Rigmor of Bruma mod and IA, while IA is configuring its crashing the game, i figured this out by disabling all mods, and then finding each mod if it does the crash, im pretty sure i can enable rigmor again after i save. i probably need further testing but it seems the CTD stopped after disabling Rigmor OR IA... in either way, i need further help with this: im gonna put the current "working" mod list, and gonna mention a few mods, someone point out if its safe to add them Active Mod Files: mods i'd like to add: Better Vampires 7.6 Better Dialogue Controls - Better Dialogue Controls v1_2 Bring Out Your Dead - Legendary Edition Brows - High Resolution Classic Oblivion Jail System Clothing and Clutter Fixes - Clothing and Clutter Fixes ---------------->this one overwrites SIMM (the big static meshmod i have) and it overwrites also weapons fixes that i also listed below Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade - Complete Crafting Overhaul Deadly Spell Impacts - DSI High v1_6_1 Even Better Quest Objectives Guard Dialogue Overhaul - Guard Dialogue Overhaul Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul ------> is it safe?   11. im using NMM, in anyways.. ive uninstalled everything including the game, and did a clean install with a new mod list, got rid of a few this time im getting instant CTD after a few minutes of new game, and i have given up =( the mods i filtered are the essentials to my playthrough.. this list has 20~ less plugins than first one i posted Active Mod Files:
  12. first of all thank you so much for replying <3 now to business.. 1.replaced with violins 2.removed all together i dont think its worth it 3.so i should re-sort my skeleton after letting LOOT sort? 4.yes i looted it 5.FNIS is updated ive made sure of that, all animations work, no problems 6.gonna remove all mods that add NPCs all together...because im pretty sure ive checked for compatibility.. 7.i really dont wanna give up open cities so just getting rid of extra NPCs mods would do? 8.again.. i should manually re-sort after i let LOOT do it? 9.yes i have them with compatibility patch 10.my save is fairly new, i tried disabling mods see whos the culprit its too many, problem is, crash and freezes are happening AFTER i start my new life so i have to start and then go outside and start running around or something.. which takes me ages to test if every time i wanna start a fresh new game =\
  13. hello, i recently went back to vanilla skyrim from special edition, did a clean install and TES edit clean masters, then i got to installing my mods, i put everything together, installed it all, did it right for the overwrites hence why the game actually starts but then out in the open there would be random freezes and crashes, sometimes the game doesnt even load and CTD.. =( im gonna list my mods copied from wryne bash even though i use NMM for everything.. sorted using LOOT as follows.. if anyone can detect conflicting mods causing the problem please help! and thanks in advance..   14. as the title says! i think its crazy but can i move back to vanilla skyrim with my save file? the character moved from vanilla to SE no problems (minus the mod shenanigans) now can i move it back to vanilla please! i just cant deal with Special Edition right now

  18. i cant tell you what Special edition mods to download because not much is ported or out just yet, but i can tell you what i do. Download Wyne Bash, learn it, its a great mod orgeniser Download Loot, which sorts your activated mods and warns you if any errors or conflicts basically everytime you add a mod run loot, just to be safe and resort any new mod into its rightful place doing these 3 steps had me in mod-using-heaven, everything is sorted, everything is checked for errors and conflicts, i can even format and reinstall windows and keep my skyrim folder and wyne bash folder, where i can take off where i left it. one thing though: SOME mods are way better to install and configure using NMM, which i rarely do and so i end up using NMM and wyne bash, but thats rare the main be wyne bash, those guys do a great job of codding and making that app work, it tells you wants installed, it tells you which saves been saved with which mods etc.. in short, i am just advising you to learn wyne bash as i did and things been great ever since i got good working with it, (which has been since oblivion days) i wish you good luck and sadly, alot of skyrim mods hasnt been ported yet so it wont be such a great experience.
  19. Apparently, that guy was asked to remove the files. I saw a post about that on Reddit.Was that the person going by the name Chung-something on Github? The files there haven't been touched by the seems since October. wait what? so someone uploaded a fake 64bit version of SKSE? (or not so much working version) then was asked to remove it?

  22. Like in oblivion, i was soo disappointed when they removed that feature, will someone be able to make a mod for it? believe it or not that was an important part of my TES gameplay in obilvion ;s thanks in advance! dont mind my spelling
