Hey there folks. I have been trying everything I could to make my game a little bit more playable. I know my graphics card is a bit behind the times. But it has to be possible to get more than 15-20 FPS with this thing. So I tried downloaded the latest ENBoost , and researched the ways to edit it for Windows 10 to make it work. However it seems to just crash on starting up the game with the ENBoost activated. I've done some research into the problem, and most say it has to do with what's running in the background. But i've done some performance cleaning up, to handle that. So my next question is, "is it my graphics card that's the issue" ? I did check the system requiresments page as well, and found my card should run a solid medium. Which I am fine with. I am just struggling with improvement my frame rate. But just in-case I'll include my current mod list.

Thanks for explaining that to me, at least I know what to look for now. Maybe i can look for a new one in a few months. My funds are limited though, generally i can't afford something more than 50$.

So i got a new computer, and a better graphics card then my old PC... and I just installed skyrim on it But... I'm still gettting the same amount of Frames per second on this rig (which is about 15-20 fps), then i did on my old rig. which was only a 1 gig video card, 4 gb ram, and 2.0 Intel processor. What the heck is going on ? I have my game cleaned and sorted. And decided to install a wrye bash, because my game was crashing quite a bit. I did the leveled list patch with Wrye, but now my game is crashing every time i try to load it up. I switched load order of ASIS and the batched patch, and even ran Asis again after making the patch. Any ideas what i can do, or how to fix this ?

I did some looking around before posting first. And the only other post isn't remotely my situation. But suffice to say, the eyes on my character and everyone else are missing. Now I have several eyes mods, and checked through everything on the sliders. All eyes, even vanilla are missing. It happened right after i had installed a armor mod, but i went back and re-installed again.. and just to make sure, i re-installed my eye mods as well. But the bug is still there. I'm pretty sure, its the mesh of the eyes that is failing to rez, since i have all my other eyes installed properly. Any suggestions? Only thing I can think of trying, is to re-install my skeleton perhaps. But that didn't help either.

I've been feeling rather restless and unsatisfied lately.. Now i've gotten skyrim to work on my PoS computer rather well to a point. So I suppose the main thing is, Mods are a terrible addiction and temptation. Once you start you can't stop, and I have let myself vere from the wonder of the vanilla game (which i have never truly tried). So I want to make my game "More" Vanilla.. So with that in mind, are their any mods that you good folks might suggest? I have made sure I have most of the performance mods, and patches already out of the way. I just want to make my game just an slightly improved vanilla, so I can enjoy it the way it was meant. I hope that helps, and I don't know if anyone else would even agree with me on wanting to do something like this. But cheer's to you all, and I hope some of you are willing to reply.

Yeah, I couldn't get the Darn UI to work, didn't seem to agree with Nexus Mod manager. Should i try to Manually install ? I myself use OBMM to install Darn UI. NMM isn't really recommended for oblivion. Thanks, found it, downlaoded it, works like a charm

Hey there folks. I am new to Oblivion, but not to skyrim. However I've pretty much given up on trying to get Skyrim to work on my system, which is low end sadly. I have a 1 core processor, and a 1 gig of video ram card. Apparently I am getting 30-40 FPS with Oblivion. I took a look at Mythic Dawn, but i have no way of running anything that they suggest obviously, and i know the game is pretty much out of date, though i see people are still attempting to make mods for Oblivion. I am just curious, what I can do to make my game semi-decent from the "vanilla" version. Improved Textures perhaps. Patches, Texture updates etc.. Anything to help spruce up the default game. So thank you for taking the time to consider this request. I will be doing some searches of my own though, just want some help on what would be the most "Suggested" things out there to try.

Currently I am thinking its my Mod Manager, I am finding mysterious mods still installed when I thought I cleared them. So I'm letting that run. Was always iffy about using profiles.

I did look, my folders are clean of meshes. I even downloaded Mod Organizer hoping that maybe, that might help me solve the problem. Only other thing I can think of , is seeing what Tes5edit thinks of my mod list...

So I un-installed Remodeled Armor recently and got rid of my mesh body, and even did a complete re-install of skyrim and my Nexus Mod Manager. But It's still showing the modified armor in my game. I don't know if this is really a question for Mod's or an issue with my Game.. So im asking here first before I goto the Bethesda website. So the issue is, "Meshes" from Remodeled Armor still exist, even after I disabled and un-installed from my NMM.

I have noticed since doing fresh re-installs of all my SKyrim, and the NMM that I am having a particular issue. That the NMM is not saving the mods I have as "On" Everytime I want to play, I ahve to load up the NMM and turn on all the mods (each and every time). Help ? Sorry i put this in the wrong area of the forums..

Past few days I have not been able to download any files using the NMM downloader Link. I get the following Error Page, regardless of the file I am trying to download. : If you are getting this bug, its because of the new Mozilla FireFox Update (#24). Goto Mozilla Firefox Support, and "Refresh your Firefox" to restore its normal function. Hope this helps anyone else having that issue.

Are there any sexy/revealing armor mods for just the "vanilla" body ? I decided to stop using mesh bodies to save on my frames per second.

Could make it a cell for the local "Alchemist" who might secretly be a necromancer or something. lol

I like this idea actually. It be a great place for a little village. Don't forget you would need a smith area for crafting purposes of course. Since its a mercenary camp of sorts, you might want to come up with a cool name like the "Black wolf Company. " or something. There is a wolf spawn point near anise's cabin if I recall. Maybe make the so calll leader female (nord), make a mercenary wizard (male)- Hell make the wizard Imperial. Would be a nice little change. I'd say show off the diversity of skyrim, by making an important NPC for every race. At least add 1 orc, argonian, and Khajiit. But those are my ideas off the top of myhead right now.

If your like me, you have struggled with making skyrim perfect just for you. And even to this day, perhaps a year later i still struggle with low perfomance issues. So I thought maybe, we could all chat about, what would be a nice list of mods that will make a low performance computer run at its best. And what mods would you use on a low-performance computer to improve your game. (Low perfomance Meaning 1gb of Vram) I want some suggestions and opinions , doesn't have to be fancy. I don't even care if I end up just playing more of a Vanilla Skyrim, I just want my game to run without crashing all the time...

I want to delete some expiremental profiles I tried in the new NNM program. Now I found the folder where the profiles are stored and saved, but I am not sure which are which ! How can i tell which is my usual game profile. Thanks for any hints or tips. NVM... I figured it out.. Ignore this post xD

So.. I've never really dealt with soul stones before till now. But I'm curious, about filling them in particular. Because I am getting souls that fill my better soul stones. So i end up with a petty soul in common stone , etc.. Is that how it works? Sorry for being a newb in this regard. I don't want to waste my better stones when i find them or purchase them, only to end up with weak souls in them .

Hello there everyone. I have been really wanting to try doing a more Immersive game. I am using some pretty easy and simple mods so far: Camping Light Kerberus Simplified Needs But I am still seeking something to help simulate cold and wet (and getting warm again), and maybe an improved diseases. I have tried Frostfall, but it says my processing engine is just not powerful enough to make it run. So I can't use this mod. I have been scouring mods for over a week now. Any suggestions ?

Well i know they are there. But they are in specific armors, I know Ive seen them. But no one has made a pointy wizard hat mod. But yes, that is kind of disappointing. Perhaps look through some gandalf or Middle earth mods, might find assets for a hat.
