Does anyone remember the name of the modder who
Beetlecat replied to tg08096's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
I love that we're all "making amends" nowadays. ;) But sorry -- I don't recall that mod. May have even pre-dated my playing of the game a bit. -
Steam and Bethesda remove paid modding from Skyrim Workshop

In response to post #24734339. Plus -- if you want to do any effective management of the mods you're using, Workshop is lousy. :D -

In response to post #24731789. #24731909, #24732094, #24732139, #24732229, #24732289, #24734304, #24734404 are all replies on the same post. I'm not sure it's true that he *can't* distribute them elsewhere, only that Valve can legitimately do what they want with them. -

In response to post #24733934. Heh. No kidding. Even so -- I made a point of visiting his and chesko's paypal pages (via nexus) to kick them a thank you for all they had provided me up to this point. Maybe it was a backhanded "f*#@ you very much" and maybe it's passive aggressive of me --I am from Seattle after all-- but I honestly *do* feel like they've contributed in no small part to making Skyrim a better game after all these years. I'm not expecting a more heart-felt apology from isoku, but I know this SW implosion has to hurt. ;) As for most of the rest of those "top mods" chosen for the roll-out. What the HELL? -

I'm googling around right now for this. ;) So far the only fix is the "Lower First Person Weapons" mod that at least gets weapons out of the way visually... -
Good day -- A quick question about "new content" or "content I follow" features -- is there a means of keeping track of latest posts that doesn't rely on a local cookie? I use multiple computers, and find myself frequently back-tracking in forums I've already read, etc. I use Chrome, but it doesn't seem to be migrating session info. Thanks!~

Help on mod management. what to keep and what not to
Beetlecat replied to ExhumedLight's topic in Skyrim's Skyrim LE
You're welcome. You didn't mention any mod manager, but I've heard good things about Mod Organizer (I still use Nexus Manager), and of course BOSS must figure into any game where there are more than a few mods active. Once you jump into the rabbit hole... ;) -

I can't speak to the specifics of all the mods listed, but I use most/many of them myself. Typically they incrementally override vanilla features (including the high-res DLC) , and often each other, but there is a cumulative effect by combining them in a certain order. I heartily recommend visiting the S.T.E.P. project page on visuals mods, as they provide an install order that allows you to use the best of all of them >> http://wiki.step-project.com/STEP:Guide#2.F._Conflicting_Graphics -
Really strange stuff. --Though my issue wound up going away after a few turns around Whiterun, dragging mammoths along for the fun of it. A couple mounts and dismounts during combat and suddenly I noticed that nothing/no one was being dragged any longer. As strange as it appeared, it disappeared. Maybe a memory issue.

Digging around on this same issue brought me here, bundah. Exact same issue. I'm wondering what, if any, mods might be at work. The only thing I have that should be touching horses is Ultimate Follower Overhaul and Convenient Horses. Is your game modded at all? I'm just getting back to the game and can't remember ever seeing this before.

I'm just getting going on a fully modded-up FNV (Project Nevada, Project Reality, Electrocity, Imaginator, etc.) and noticed that at night it it's unreasonably dark when standing in the street below a wildly blinking sign (Vicky & Vance) with a giant glowing bison on a sign rotating behind me. I know that lights themselves and the light they radiate are two different things in-game, but has nobody gone through and "electrified" the neon lights? I haven't wandered up to NV yet, but so far only street lights, burning barrels, and campfires seem to provide any pools of light to bask in. Maybe I should play with GECK... :)
