I'm really at a loss. My game was working fine yesterday. I did update a few mods, not add new ones today-just update and I did have a problem with a workaround that was suggested for the Console Add Points mod, well, I had done the workarund then the modder returned and I had to delete all the files from the work around. I started to play tonight and when my PC kissed Alistair there was no music. I like that music when they kiss so I totally uninstalled and reinstalled the game because I thought maybe I had deleted a wrong file when I was trying to clean up that work around mess I was dealing with, went back into the game and still no music! I updated my sound card drivers on my motherboard and tested the newest mods by removing them one at a time and going into game until I was satisfied that so far it is not a mod, these are all mods I've been using for awhile, all I have been doing is updating them for Awakening. Has anyone heard of this? There is still music in the game, just not for the kiss which is why I thought it was mod related. I'm stumped. I haven't been able to play to see if any more sounds are missing because for the last 3 hours I've been reinstalling everything. Should I find any more sounds missing, I'll report that here on this thread but so far, it's just the music when you kiss Alistair. ******************** For anyone with this same problem, it was the All Spell Can Learn mod that removed the background music. I'm going to let the mod creator know and I'm sure this will be fixed. I did have a feeling it was mod related all along.
