  1. Any game as inherently buggy as this one (or any of the Bethesda-based games) should not disable achievements because of console use. There are times when resort to console commands is necessary. I hope you find someone who can make this mod for you. Personally, I could care less about Steam achievements.
  2. Download and install FNVEdit and run your load order through that. It will tell you what master files you are either missing or have in the wrong order. One thing, which alone, would cause your failure to load is that you have the ttw version of Nevada Skies and you do not have the TTW mod. Also, you have the crap packs loading before the other DLCs, and you have a mod called Destruction overhaul which is likely to give you nothing but grief.
  3. You could just play with her and make your own judgments. I suspect no one feels the need to go to the effort to persuade someone who thinks she is just a "sex toy" and who poses a rather vague question "how is Willow's character" that he should like her. If you do not think she meets your standards, then have her wait somewhere or untick the mod.
  4. Try posting a complete list of all of the esms and esps you have currently active and the order in which they are loaded. Your original post lists lots of things which are neither esms or esps (fnv4gb and Beware of Girl for example). Get your manager to export your load order to a text file and post the contents of that file. That said with your description of the process you used to download stuff, I am not surprised your game will not run.
  5. There is this mod which may do what you want: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/48348/?
  6. It has happened to me before (not often). You get to the bunker, she approaches the intercom and starts talking but goes into a loop where she simply keeps saying "see you around". I never could solve this satisfactorily when it happened even using some console commands suggested by some Wiki article.
  7. You need to make sure your temporary folder has plenty of room because FOMM uses that in installation. Search for %temp% and empty the contents of that folder. Ordinary disc cleanup utility does not affect that folder. Also, Vanessa should be installed manually. That "out of memory exception error" sounds like some message you would get if you tried to install Vanessa with NMM and have a 32 bit system. And definitely use the FOMM fork mentioned above.
  8. The only thing I see (and I doubt it is important) is that you have those crap packs loading before the DLCs.
  9. There was one but Tomm434 removed it along with his other files when he closed his account.
  10. She lives in the same house occupied by Sunny and Trudy (you know the house with three occupants and one single bed). She is the same person in every play-through and I think is the only female npc named "Goodsprings Settler".
  11. That sounds like Book of Earache which has not been available on the Nexus for some time.
  12. The Renaming Rifle mod would allow you to name her, and the JIP Command and Control Mod would allow you to recruit her as a companion. I would doubt anyone would make a standalone companion mod since she is not all that interesting and since there are some good custom companion mods out there that are original and voiced.
  13. I thought that might help-ordinary disk cleanup tool does not seem to touch that folder, plus it is not that easy to find if you try to do it manually. FOMM seems to use that folder for reasons I do not understand.
  14. Do the start command and search for %temp% and see if that does not come up with a folder with tons of files. Maybe that is what you already did.
  15. Have you read this? http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2636064-why-is-no-one-making-my-mod-request-the-reality/
  16. Try cleaning out your temporary folder. Also, you will probably want to use the FOMM fork rather than the original version.
  17. I think you should watch a Gopher video on how to install mods.
  18. I actually liked the romance all right myself and thought Someguy was too hard on himself about that. John Grisham said, after inserting a sex scene in one of his books, that he was told by his wife to never try that again and he considered that good advice. Sounds like Someguy may feel the same about soppy romance as Grisham does about writing graphic sex scenes. I am not sad to see it go since my game always hung up at that point during the alpha and I had to console kill her to get the game to proceed.
  19. In a nutshell, he's just a hair too self-serious for my taste. It's just a personal preference. I thought he was pretty cool as well (in spite of not having a sandbox package when told to wait), but I had difficulty being sold on his reaction to the aftermath of the Glanton slaughters since those scenes were no more gory or brutal than any other post-battle scenes in the game (at least not on my machine). When a bullet to the head causes it to explode, it is pretty hard to depict the "horror" of scalping. The only slaughter of true innocents was done by the tribals. Actually, I think you did an excellent job of making his personality complex. If one tried to guess what comment would please him most, he would often fool you ( saying something negative about Vickers or Handley eg and God help you if you tried to wax too philosophical).
  20. I would be interested in that also. I know he has mentioned The Great Silence before. I have been trying to find that available online on something like NetFlicks but no luck so far.
  21. If you look at the mod's thread, Someguy says she appears after the main quest in a randomized fashion. (ninjaed by RangerBoo)
  22. With respect to your last question, do the political quests for Brookshire. With respect to the ranch house which needs a key, that represents content cut from the Alpha so you will not get a key for that. Other areas you mentioned may be contemplated content never implemented or something placed there to torture "completionists". Muhaha
  23. Yes, that is correct. As well as in other conversations, such as with Virgil when you arrive in Frosthill and with Randall in his shack.
