Anyone know how the khajits or Argonians speak? oblivion or morrowind style? Saw one Khajit saying something along the lines "Khajit has wares if you have gold" So my guess is that the cats speak like they did on Morrowind, almost completely Yoda :P

If crossbows are in they either are high end weapons or they were not included in the demo, because we haven`t heard an interviewer/demoer talk about them yet ;)

now that I can confirm is not in .. they said there is no way to change your character after the start Actually they confirmed that you wouldnt be able to alter hair, face or race after start... they dont say anything about possibly getting a tattoo when you join the rebels, the legion or that third faction (I forget its name) that would make it visibly clear that you are a member and would prevent services from the others, I think it`s safe to say that we can`t though :confused: Time will tell :happy:

Mod or dlc I guess then.

Would be awesome seeing as how some of the armors we have seen are without arms =) Maybe visit a tattooist in-game ? like changing your face with that old man in fallout 3 :tongue:

Ok, we`ve all seen the epic face tattoos and i`m wondering if you can add body tattoos? like a tribal tattoo on your shoulder or something?

I would definatly get into dungeons and dragons paint mode for this :dance:

Oh yeah i`m not worried at all that it will be short or nothing it just came as a little shock to me :laugh: but like in oblivion if you really play the game you can end up playing it for weeks, maybe even months in one playthrough, these guys apparently just fast traveled to the quest locations, used the best gear they had and just ran through the dungeons that didnt require kills. My theory atleast.

For all the talk about Bethesda’s upcoming open-world RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim being a big game that can consume a huge chunk of a player’s time, there are two players that can finish it in just over two hours. And one of them even won a pie for the accomplishment. Bethesda tester Sam Bernstein and developer Jeff Browne went head-to-head in the latest in a studio tradition: a speedrun contest as the game is just about done. A speedrun is basically a sprint through a level or an entire game in an effort to record the fastest time possible and perhaps even break a record. In Skyrim‘s case, that race would take the two testers through all of the game’s main quests and nothing else, with no cheats allowed. As members of the development team, Sam and Jeff know the game inside-out and know every last trick to efficiently speed through the game. The winner was to receive a trophy and a “pie of their choice from [producer] Todd Howard.” In fact, the Sam vs Jeff matchup is well-known among Bethesda staff, as Sam edged out Jeff to win the pie at the end of the Fallout 3 development process. In this year’s contest, the first to finish the game was Jeff with a time of 2:16:30. Yes, that’s two hours, for this huge game. (Amazingly, Fallout 3 and Oblivion were done in about 1 hour and 15 minutes!) However, that didn’t mean Jeff won. Sam had had to roll back a save game (with the judges’ permission) which put him a few minutes behind. When he did finish the game, his recorded completion time was 2:16:10 – all of twenty seconds faster than Jeff. For gamers concerned that Skyrim might be short, fear not, we game has all the depth of its predecessors (if not more). Sam will be celebrating his victory with a pumpkin pie. ^^^my first post :wink:

Depends on what kind of equipment I get from the tutorial dungeon, but I guess for starters I will explore the surrounding area and see all the mechanics for myself :P pretty curious on the water mechanics, gonna find me a deer, kill it, drag it into the water, and look at how the floating works. apparently it`s very realistic =) Also I will be making a video of my character creation on youtube =) then at my second playthrough I will make videos of just about every main quest and so on =) my Channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/TESJourneyman?feature=mhee
