  1. Ok I updated to 0.49.1 and now it will log me in. I hadn't realized that it wouldn't login just because the version number was different. That's not usually the case for most software...Actually I didn't even know there was a new version because it wasn't logging in...and then telling me there was a new version :) Thanks
  2. I'm using version 0.45.7 and no it is not being blocked by my firewall. I never had a problem with NMM before then ever since before I left for 2 months I haven't been able to login. There was an issue with NMM a while back I know (something about the client was spamming their servers so they had to shut it down) but I'm pretty sure that's all fixed now. I checked my firewall and explicitly set it to allow NMM now but it still doesn't work.
  3. all I see in this thread is how bad the game is lol. I played in the last beta weekend and I really enjoyed my experience with it a lot. All the haters probably haven't even played the game. Get real!!! Sure, it's not perfect, there were quite a few bugs, and it can be improved (especially the fluidity and responsiveness of the combat) but it was still very fun to play. Isn't that the point of games? To have fun? Out of the plethora of MMO's I have tried over the past few years it's the only one that has been able to maintain my attention and keep me playing for more than an hour or 2...in fact on Friday morning I woke up, logged in and played ALL DAY until like 3AM. Haven't done that in a long time.
  4. I'm not able to login to NMM right now. It says "Cannot reach the Nexus login server." Is anyone else not able to login?
  5. Hi guys I have a tonne of mods installed and I just yesterday wanted to get back into Skyrim. I updated a bunch of mods plus changed a bunch of them as well. I haven't had to use the Skyrim Launcher in basically forever so I can't remember if this was working before or not but right now I am not able to click ANY buttons in the Skyrim Launcher. I'm trying to set up Unreal Cinema ENB and it says to use the launcher to change the graphics settings of the game, but I am unable to do so because I'm not able to open the options menu, or any menu for that matter. All I have been able to find is an issue people were having with not being able to open the Data Files button because it is greyed out. This is not the case for me. All the "buttons" or text is white, but I'm not able to open anything. Anyone know what could be causing this or how to fix it? Thanks EDIT: Well, I'm not entirely sure but I think it was some files from the Unreal Cinema mod...but I just uninstalled every mod I have and took measures to make Skyrim to it's vanilla form. I will be zipping this and saving it somewhere so I can revert back if necessary. Phew!
  6. Hi all, First off, the problem I'm having is for some reason I am unable to craft Leather at the tanning rack, despite having "Deer Hide" in my inventory. Second of all, I have Frostfall, Hunterborn, Hunting in Skyrim and Bandolier mods installed. From what I read in each of these mods they should all be compatible together. When I go to the tanning rack the only options I have for creating Leather come from deconstructing my Imperial or Leather armor which of course I do not want to do. I have 1 "Deer Hide" in my inventory which I received from an Elk that I killed just outside of Riverwood. I have 1 "Deer Hide" in my inventory which I received from buying it from the guy at Riverwood Trader. EDIT: I forgot to mention that these hides are showing separate stacks in my inventory. 1 and 1. Neither of these hides are giving me the option to craft Leather at the Tanning Rack. Anyone know what could be going on? Thanks!!! EDIT: OK So I uninstalled Hunterborn AND Hunting in Skyrim and I STILL can't craft any Leather from these deer hides at the tanning rack. What the hell is going on here!? Going to have to go through my other mods to see if anything else would be causing these problems...
  7. Hmm...alright then. I don't really want to buy Dawnguard...not really interested in it. Maybe if it goes on sale for like $1 but not worth 20 bucks to me. Thanks
  8. Hi all, I have a whole lot of mods installed, over 60. A lot of doors are asking me to Pick them when I go to open them. For example: Riverwood Trader, door to Whiterun, door to Belethor's general shop, the alchemy shop in Whiterun, actually it seems anything that is like an actual shop (it's not doing it on the Inn's) pops up with a window that says "What would you like to do?" with "Pick" being the only option and I can't back out of the menu. Edit: It's doing this while the shop is OPEN and it does not bring up the lockpicking mini-game at all. I wouldn't care if it didn't affect anything, but it's actually giving me skill-ups in Lockpicking which I do not want. Anyone have this experience or know which mod is causing this? I'm running Skyrim Redone (though I ran that before and I don't remember it doing that), plus a tonne of other mods. Lots of armor, Skyrim Monster Mod, blood, water, lots and lots of stuff. I don't want to mess up my save by disabling mods and stuff...
  9. Hi all, I'm having a problem running Skyrim with all the things mentioned in my title. I can play Skyrim totally fine with: Skyrim + dxtory + SKSE Skyrim + SKSE + ENB But NOT Skyrim + dxtory + ENB + SKSE. Originally I was even just having issues with Skyrim + dxtory + ENB. I disabled AA (AntiAliasing) from the Skyrim options and then stopped crashing. Otherwise it would crash to desktop (no error messages) upon loading a save game. After turning off AA though and running SKSE again so I can run my mods, the same thing is happening now. CTD when I load a save game. I have tried turning Skyrim graphics options to LOW in case it was some kind of Video memory issue (mentioned by official ENBSeries guy) but it still crashes. I'm recording some videos and I'd really like to be able to use all my mods and ENB... This is all using the "Injector" version of ENB, which he says should be compatible with anything. System: Windows 7 64bit Home Premium Intel i5 3570K 8 GB DDR3 1600 GeForce GTX670 (MSI) Vanilla Skyrim with official HD texture pack I pretty much run at 100+ FPS at all times at ULTRA preset. With ENB I won't go below around 40 FPS at ULTRA preset with "True Vision" ENB version/settings. Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks
  10. I was about to come and say that it was RCRN (Realistic Colors Real Nights) that was causing my BSoD's because I was playing with it turned off and was never having a problem and then BOOM. BSoD. So it's not that. I've got every single mod DISABLED now and still getting BSoD. I wonder if it's MSI Afterburner itself. I am using a Beta version of it, afterall. Try that next...
  11. Hi guys, I recently reformatted my computer as I was getting tired of all the stuff I had installed, and also re-installed Skyrim. I downloaded a bunch of mods right off the bat basically. Bunch of different stuff like Apachii Hair, Ashen race, official DLC high tex pack, better meshes, Wars in Skyrim, etc, bunch of stuff. Anyway, I'm experiencing seemingly random CTD' and BSoDs. They've happened in the middle of a field outside, in whiterun, in a cave, in Riverwood, basically everywhere and seemingly random. Odd things happen after Skyrim CTD's. What I mean by that is other programs don't work either, for example: I usually have MSI Afterburner open just so I can look at the graphs of GPU temperature and stuff afterward, and after Skyrim CTD's all the data in the graphs kind of.....comes and goes. Like one second it will be there, for a few seconds then it will disappear for a few seconds and come back - at seemingly random intervals. Google Chrome will not launch. If I try to launch it it gives me like 3 or 4 error messages of the same error message saying it failed to launch. If I try to reload Skyrim it fails to launch as well. I'm forced to Reboot my computer to get everything working again. Due to this, I believe when the game is CTD it must be some kind of Driver problem? Am I going in the right direction by thinking that? I've checked Event Viewer every time I've CTD and there is no event recorded at all. Nothing in Application or System sections. When I get BSoD there is nothing in the BSoD itself that would indicate what caused the problem. Of course, in Event Viewer I when I get a BSoD I have a Critical failure there but it doesn't indicate what file is the problem either. I've been systematically disabling mods one by one and playing Skyrim in between to see if I still get BSoD and CTD issues. So far I haven't come across the culprit yet, IF it is even a mod that's causing it and not some underlying thing. The last one I just disabled was a Shadow Striping Fix mod which seemed to give me the most playtime thus far, though it could be by sheer luck as I've previously stated the time frames that I've been able to play have varied greatly. System is as follows: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit MSI GTX460 SLI 4GB DDR200 Phenom II X4 965 Quad Core nVidia 296.10 Driver (Newest) I don't know what to do...
  12. Since the workshop was released, I've been trying to use it exclusively as it's just easier to keep track of what's installed and stuff, at least for me it is. I've noticed though that a lot of people are simply not even bothering putting their mods on the workshop, and only use the Nexus. Some new examples of this are the Apachii Hair and the Angel Wings mods. The Apachii hairs one even specifically says at the bottom of the description that they don't want it to be uploaded to Steam Workshop. Is there something bad about the workshop that I'm missing? With the search feature there now at least it makes it a bit easier to rummage through all the mods. Is it mainly out a loyalty and familiarity since the Nexus sites have been around since Morrowind I guess, and the people that actually produce good mods prefer to use the Nexus over the Workshop?
  13. In all fairness, I was following this guide: http://devnull.sweetdanger.net/fcominstall.html And it says absolutely NOTHING about having an MMM.bsa or renaming it to FCOM_Convergence_MMM.bsa. I'm crashing at the sewer exit as well so I'm downloading that BSA now to see if that fixes it. Edit: Huzzah! Seems to have worked. Time to get all my other mods working now! Oblivion always still crashes when I exit the game though. Every single time.
